This place is all hype. Not for people seeking real italian cusine. Maybe for drinks and an appetizer it will suffice.

What a great find. We have now been to the Plantation location 3 times and am going again today with my friend for lunch. Excellent service and food was very good. Last time we went I wanted to order a chicken dish I had before and accidently ordered the wrong one. We mentioned it to our server and he told the manager. The manager came over with a menu and I found the dish. He said he would get us another order and we said no. He took it upon himself to order a take out for each of us. Now that is service.

Dinner last night was interesting. My wife had the Cod with lemon butter and thought it was pretty good. I ordered the Brick Chicken and I thought it might be the worst meal I have had in a while. It was dry with very little taste. Brick Chicken should be prepared in a pan with butter and seasoning. Not grilled until the chicken is so over done that it is like eating chicken jerky. I will give it another try. but will stay away from the chicken.

Visited BRIO in Plantation, FL. Hardly impressed with the food and service. In my humble opinion, it’s just another Cheesecake Factory with less tasty food. I had the Shrimp Mediterranean. Be advised, it will seem as if you ordered from the child’s menu or you may think the server made an error and brought an appetizer. The dish was lacking taste & unappealing because it did not have a distinctive flavor. Simply a middling dish with its inflated price.

Brio is a good break from standard franchise restaurants. The menu features a wide range of dishes to please all palettes. This is a great place for a quick bite or a romantic meal.

This place is phenomenal. I went to their Boca location last year and had a great time with the ladies. But I was not too surprised considering the location. My bf and I went there on the whim one day and it truly made our day. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the food, attentive and we were able to sample a dish we were not sure about. I think it was the shrimp and eggplant dish(My new favorite)!!! I will definitely be back and this time I won’t be driving to Boca.

Have been here for happy hour a couple of times and it never disappoints. Happy hour is from 3:30 — 6:30 at the bar area. My favorite drinks are the white peach sangria and the sangria rosa. My friend loves the blackberry cosmo. We ordered the beef carpaccio, the brio tater tots, and the spicy shrimp with fried eggplant. Everything is around $ 4-$ 7 on the happy hour menu, so super affordable for regular portions. A perfect happy hour :)

I’ve been to this Brio location several times but on this particular occasion we sat that the bar for some drinks and appetizers on a Sunday afternoon. Our server Annie was beyond fabulous and provided some of the best customer service from a restaurant server I’ve had in a long time. She even overheard me tell my friend that I prefer the flatbread crisps over the regular bread in the bread basket and(without having to ask) made sure to bring me my very own! Major brownie points! My drink of choice that day was a peach Bellini and I have to say Brio makes the best Bellini in town! Definitely get it over the mimosa! They also have a great wine selection and weekend drink specials if mimosas and Bellini’s aren’t your thing. I’m glad Brio added the steak bruschetta back to their permanent menu because it is by far the best and my absolute favorite appetizer. I would always order it off menu ‘back in the day’! The steak is always cooked perfectly and the added fresh parmesan cheese on top with the balsamic vinegar and cooked red pepper adds the perfect saltiness to the bread and steak. It’s also a perfect serving for a quick lunch if you’re not super hungry. This visit was definitely more memorable than other times I’ve been and I’m sure it was due to the bar atmosphere and great service that day. Will definitely return again very soon and will be asking for our amazing server Annie!

1÷23÷2016− BARSERVICEREVIEW I have been to this particular BRIO a few times, night out with the girls, dinner, lunch with co-workers and now drinks with friends. All those times it was good, like average good. No complaints. This time we sat at the bar and met Annie. She is spectacular and charming. «What can I get you darling?» We got a few peach Bellinis, white wine and old-fashioned. My friend mentioned how much she likes their bread… especially the flax seed crostinis. Annie came out with a basket of bread and an extra basket of the flax seed crostinis. My friend just looked at me in awe, and said«I love her», «she must of heard me». For a quick bite, my friends ordered the steak and the shrimp bruschetta. I tried the steak bruschetta and it was delicious. The steak was tender and the richness and sweetness of the balsamic with the parmesan were an awesome combination. Out of all the times I’ve been here, this was the one worth writing about. I am big on how important customer service is in any business. Even the smallest interactions, are important.

Unexpectedly ended up here for some day time drinking with some friends. I don’t feel like I can do a full review since my only experience was the bar. So I will have to return her for food sometime. The bar area is very nice, and a good place to hang out for a drink(or 3). Both bar seating and high-tops are available. Our group sat at the bar itself. There is a good selection of wines on the menu and the bartender was very engaging and attentive.

C & C ! Carpaccio & Christopher(our waiter)… Those were the highlights of my visit to Brio. The carpaccio melted in our mouths and the size was quite big(we shared it for 3 people as an appetizer. Our waiter Christopher was really nice, helpful and knowledgable. He made nice chit-chat conversation without getting annoying. I had the Mediterranean shrimp from the girl menu which was perfect and not too heavy. Perhaps a bit too much sauce but all and all quite yummy and didn’t make me feel too full after. My husband’s swordfish was cooked perfectly! Price was very reasonable. I’d go back.

Greeted the minuet they saw us. Great hostess. Was seated for lunch. I ordered the soup of the day $ 5.25, which was Italian Wedding Soup. I’ve never seen it with Orzo. It was delious. The bread basket was very good one large piece of hard crunchy bread a few pieces of a Rosemary herb points. G had the Lobster Bisque He said really no Lobster In It but it was very good Main dish was also a Special, Pasta Yandino only $ 8.95. I asked for no mushrooms or tomatoes. Very little spinach three leaves ., it was with chicken, rigatoni it was the Bomb. G had the Chicken Limone $ 12.49. Large pieces of chicken veggies which look over cooked and a mound of mashed potatoes. My only problem was that we had not even been half way thru our soups and the main dish came. Tsk tsk. Otherwise the food was real good.

I came here for a business lunch. There were 5 of us and we were seated fairly quickly. I ordered the Tuscan Grilled Pork Chop which comes with veggies and mashed potatoes. The flavors of the pork chop were wonderful. The portion was enough, but at $ 17 it’s pricey for lunch. The server was very friendly, but his attentiveness was hit or miss.

I have now been to this Brio location for lunch several times and have very much enjoyed the food. I love their Pasta lunch specials as well as the Carpaccio. Service is ok for the most part, they are friendly but not always the most attentive as they are busy with the lunch rush. I am bumping them up a star for the food.

We arrived to an empty restaurant 20 minutes before our 5pm reservation. Upon check-in, we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. I was not happy. What just happened? The restaurant was 80% empty so, why would I have to wait? We were told that we could sit outside right away or wait the 20 minutes for an inside table due to the«lack of staff.» I displayed my displeasure and, after about 5 minutes we were seated. We proceeded to order the kids’ meals, an Artichoke Dip appetizer, and our entrees which were the Pasta Fra Diavolo and the Shrimp and Lobster pasta. The kids’ meals and appetizer arrived some 15 minutes later. The dip was average… didn’t seem all that fresh. The kids’ pastas were ok with the lasagna much better than the spaghetti… which really wasn’t that. It was a ‘curly pasta noddle’ type. Not 10 minutes after the dip was served, the entrees showed up. We weren’t even done with the dip so, I send them back. Unprompted, a gentleman that looked like a manager showed up and apologized. He stated that the entrees would be ‘re-fired up’ so we would get a ‘fresh’ meal. I thought that was a nice touch… except that didn’t happen. Upon arrival, it was clear that the pasta entrees sat under the heating lamp for the 10 – 15 minutes that it took to bring them back. You could tell as the sauces had settled on top of the pasta. Both entrees were just okay. I though the Fra Diavolo was better as the sauce had a bit of a kick… as expected. Still, wasn’t all that great and the sauce settling and thickening didn’t help. Another problem is that once the entrees came, the waitress was nowhere to be found… and the restaurant was still, at least half empty. We just wanted some shredded cheeses. I finally spotted her and waited a good 5 minutes to see if she would make eye contact. She did not. I stood up and made myself look like one of those guys that direct the airplane to its gate and she finally saw me. For dessert we had a Cheesecake and a Chocolate cake. We had these, and coffee, on a dirty table as the waitress failed to even attempt to clean up. Although I didn’t taste it, the presentation of the Chocolate cake was downright embarrassing.(see picture) The cheesecake was actually good. As for the coffees, lucky me I don’t take sugar because they didn’t come with any and the waitress was, once again, M.I.A. Probably won’t return.

I’ve had a few lunches and a dinner at this location. The service is good, the atmosphere is attractive, and it’s nearby. What makes this a great experience is the company — I’ve been here with cherished friends and family. I am hooked on the sliced steak salad(mid-raregrilled tenderloin with balsamic glaze on top of mixed greens, tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, candied pecans and creamy horseradish dressing — hold the blue cheese!). I’ve shared the shrimp and eggplant in black pepper cream sauce appetizer and it’s good. Breaded and fried eggplant pieces line a long narrow platter. Each piece has a shrimp on top. It all sits in a rich cream sauce spiked with black pepper. It’s a good way to take the edge off of hunger while waiting for our entrees. I’ve also enjoyed the Grilled Chicken«Under the Brick», Chicken Limon(Piccata style breast with white wine, lemon, and capers) and center cut beef filet platters. They all come with the same mixed grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. When I recently had lunch with hubby and Mom, hubby kept referring to the meal as Trio at Brio because I split the proteins among the plates so we had some of everything. The proteins are tender and well-flavored. The veggies’ sugars are prompted by the grilling so they’re delicious. The mashed potatoes are just ok but I’m not a big mashed potato fan so maybe it’s just me. Recently I brought dessert home — chocolate cake and tiramisu. The chocolate cake looked rich and tasted good but it lacked dense chocolate flavor and it crumbled a lot. The tiramisu was creamy and coffee-tasting but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. Frankly, I’d pass on desserts to go. Maybe their eat-in desserts(in ramekins) are better, but given what I think of the other desserts I’d pass. I know I should try other dishes but I keep ordering the same dishes because I know I’ll enjoy the meal. And when entrees average $ 15 for lunch and $ 25 for dinner I don’ t feel like being disappointed.(The only restaurant where I order anything and everything is Bellini, because Chef Aldo can do no wrong — every dish he makes is a delicious treat.) But even if they didn’t have french doors that open to outside seating, with curtains billowing from the breeze, even if the Tuscan colors and ample seating didn’t invite me to stay for a while, even if the staff wasn’t as welcoming as they are, even if their York Peppermint Patty tasting round mints didn’t refresh my mouth on the way out I’d still come back. Because this is where I have caught up with girlfriends I don’t see often enough. It’s where my family and I eat well and feed one another. It’s where I can pop in without waiting for a table. I like it here.

The most important thing to me when getting together with good friends is the company and the chance to catch up with one another. The icing on the cake is if the restaurant has good food and service. Last night we were lucky enough to have it all. Great conversation, good food and an efficient server. It was my first time at Brio and I was surprised at how large the restaurant is. They have an outside dining area as well as an outside bar. We sat inside and we were seated immediately. They take reservations which is really nice. My lemonade was served in a sugar rimmed glass. Different but pretty. I liked the lemonade because it was not overly sweet. The bread basket included a sourdough roll and homemade flaxseed crackers. I didn’t try the roll but the crackers were very good. I ordered the Grilled Chicken«Under the Brick»($ 21.15). First let me say that the portion was enough for two people. Two large chicken breasts were perfectly grilled and served in a delicious marsala sauce. I loved this dish. The chicken came with mashed potatoes(okay) and an assortment of roasted vegetables. Next time I will ask to substitute extra veggies for the potatoes, they were very good. I asked our server for a little extra marsala sauce to take home with my leftovers. I would have happily paid for this but she did not charge me. Finially the dessert tray was brought over to our table. They all looked amazing. I ordered a slice of the Chocolate Layer Cake($ 6.95) to take home. The cake had both milk and white chocolate mousse covered with a rich fudge ganache. I had to have it and it was very very good. The prices were a little high but nothing crazy. I will definitely be going back. I’m typically not a fan of chain restaurants but Brio was a nice surprise.

We have bookmarked this place for a while now. And since I was in the neighborhood for my haircut, it makes perfect timing. We arrived and I was very impressed by the looks from the outside of the restaurant. It looked very elegant and felt like a fine-dinning restaurant. We walked in and three hostesses greeted us with a warm welcome. The weather was not ideal for outside dinning but we decided to sit at the outside bar in the patio. The patio area looked very nice. They got nice couches with coffee tables and looks like a good place to lounge. We sat down and the bartender came over almost immediately and gave us the menu. We weren’t very hungry so we decided to order a few appetizers to snack on. Its kind of a shame because they got a very good looking brunch menu too. So we looked through the reviews on Unilocal!and found that many people enjoyed the Beef Carpaccio, and the the Calamari. That’s great because those are our favorites too. The portion of the beef carpaccio was huge! If I weren’t sharing with my wife, that could probably fill me up as an entrée. What makes it even better was the beef tasted very fresh and tender, and the side salad was dressed very well. The calamari was excellent. They were lightly breaded, and tasted very juicy and tender. We were going to order another dish, but after two generous portions on the appetizers, we were stuffed and couldnt eat anther bite. Over all the dinning experience was very good. The service we received from the bartenders were excellent. The food was big and packed with big flavors. We should be back for Sunday brunch soon.
