Best pizza in plantation. Delivery kinda takes awhile though. Some days are quicker than others. I deal with it because I love their pizza.

I ordered a Stromboli on a Friday late night and it took over an hour to come to my hotel. Once arrived, the delivery man was rude, but I think he was just flustered and busy. Also, my order was wrong; I got a calzone instead of the Stromboli. However, the calzone was HUGE(enough for two meals or two people) and was pretty good. Price was decent and delivered right to my hotel room.

Since moving to Florida I’ve been able to try a lot of different places to find a good pizza. I didn’t try the pizza this time; I got the calzone with pepperoni, and was not disappointed. It was freshly made, hot and delicious! I was only able to eat part of it while in the restaurant, and I’m sure it’ll be just as good the second time around, as it was the first time.

Oh boy. So I remember eating here when I was in middle school and it was amazing. But now in my 20s this place has just lost it. Our to go order was completely wrong, the pizza was actually cold, the garlic rolls were burnt, and the Nutella pie is literally pizza dough and Nutella. I should have seen that last one coming though, I just assumed it would be incredible. Maybe I shouldn’t hate on the torched garlic rolls considering we didn’t even order them and they gave them to us on accident though. We definitely won’t be eating here ever again, we were just trying to fill the void Pizza Center left us when they closed down on Broward. It’s really a shame though considering it’s a relatively clean place and the people who work there are so nice.

I’ve tried to Deluxe pizza and the eggplant parm and both were so good. Definitely a NY pizza. Nice thin crust and quality toppings. I’m sad it took me so long to find them. The dinner portions are HUGE. I ate the eggplant for 2 days.

Not sure how anyone could leave a bad review of this place! All of the food is amazing and the owners and employees all put a lot of pride into their work. This is a tiny open concept restaurant with a laid back attitude. The employees treat you like family. I’ve had the cook personally come to my table to make sure I was pleased with his product. Little things like that set Stromboli’s ahead of the competition. My go-to restaurant for life!

Been on the hunt for some more good eats in the Plantation/Davie area and been going out of the comfort of our«go to» spots to explore the rest of the options down this way. After having a pretty bad experience at another pizza spot around the area, my wife was hesitant to try another pizza place — but I was set on finding a good option… glad we came in to Stromboli! Grandpa’s — stuffed pizza with mushroom ricotta and eggplant. This was delicious — and massive. Regular pizza with sausage, meatball and ricotta. Crispy crust… the toppings were tasty. We got sodas — but they were a little flat. Service was great. Super nice girl took care of us. The two girls sitting next to us were super annoying. They were facetiming their friend/boyfriend and just sitting there after being done with their food for a fairly long time. Luckily I just kept stuffing my face with pizza and ignored them. Overall it’s a solid place for a slice, pie or if you are looking for the real deal get Grandpa’s! I wouldn’t rate it as the best pizza ever — but it’s at a decent price point and gets the job done.

I’ve been coming here for the past 20 years or so and I was highly disappointed. It seems as if the restaurant got bought over by new ownership and completely left behind their fantastic pizza. The pizza crust tasted like matzo. It was crispy yet soggy at the same time. Service was terrible. The staff was very confused. They couldn’t even remember to bring me garlic powder after asking them multiple times. Tragic. They used to have some of the best pizza and service in town. Now they are just another run of the mill mediocre pizza delivery restaurant

We ordered from here a few days ago for the first time. They have online ordering, and we figured we would give it a try. An hour after we ordered they called us to say our order never went through and just randomly showed up an hour later, didn’t make much sense. Seems to me they were running behind and called to use that for an excuse. They also said the payment didn’t go through and asked for my credit card information again. I was hesitant about this because the amount said processing on my account once it went through. The lady on the phone assured me that it did not go through on their end. On top of that no apology or compensation was given for the inconvenience of all this. And hour later our order isn’t even started? And all they call is to ask for payment again? Great customer service guys! 20 minutes later our order arrives. Pretty quick for just getting it and we live 10 min away? Once again my husband tells the driver that there are 2 payments processing on our account for this order. We open the pizza and it is ice cold! NOWAY was this order just made and rushed to us! I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years, I know when food has just been made or sitting there. Clearly the order was never lost, they either went to the wrong location or did not have a driver to deliver at true time. We ate because we were starving at this point, and never called to complain because we do work in true business and understand things happen. 2 days later I check my account and both charges went through. I paid $ 100 for ice cold pizza that I waited 1 ½ hours for. Word of advise, there are way too many pizza options in plantation, better flavor and quality, than to deal with any of this! Not sure what to say about this place. Went here as I read some good reviews. Decided to try it out. Typical pizzeria and seating. Was greeted nicely and given menus once we sat. Variety of menu items to choose from. I wanted to try the grandpa pizza as I read it was really good. We ordered that and the garlic rolls with cheese. Waited about 30 min. Garlic rolls with cheese came out first. To me it could of been good but not cooked long enough for the cheese to even melt. You can see in the picture I took. Pizza came out and it was ok. You need to ask for marinara sauce and lots of it as pizza does not come with it on it. It may be a local spot for the area but just not for me.

We ordered for deliver at 9:30 and got our food pretty quick at around 10pm. Unfortunately it might have been too quick bc our Sicilian pizza was undercooked and very doughy. I couldn’t eat it and my boyfriend had to force himself through the raw dough. It’s a shame too bc it was quite tasty and I could imagine that if it was cooked properly it would have been really good. They also forgot to include something to stop the cheese from sticking to the top of the lid so we had to scrape all the cheese off! $ 22 for a raw Sicilian with half the cheese missing, it was also a bit pricey to say the least On the plus side, we also got an eggplant rollatini and it was very good! Not greasy like most places. I will give them another try bc the food had potential. Service was pleasant.

Great pizza and a great group of people here. I’ve been a fan for a while and it is so convenient that its only across they parking lot from where I work. I have also catered from them just in case anyone is interested. They make all different kinds of foods. This is a must try!

I just moved in the neighborhood. I’m s single guy who orders food from the area almost every night. I’ve had their food a few times and it was good. I ordered food last Friday night. 1 hour later food shows up. Wrong food. Call them said they are remaking it will be there in a bit. 1 hr later no food! I call and they say already on way. I walk downstairs wait 30 minutes no food. Call back ask for a credit. Person very nice said — sorry about mixup — just issued credit. Well a week later no credit – and on the phone with my cc company for 30 minutes over a 25 dollar charge. Waste of time! But more importantly– a good restaurant lost a long term loyal customer. It’s all about integrity that this restaurant doesn’t have.

Years ago a co-worker told me this was ‘the’ place but I didn’t listen. He was right — and the only silver lining in waiting all these years to have their food is I saved calories… which, after doing 3.75 hours of yard work today, I don’t feel guilty about! This is the second time we ordered from them in the past few weeks. Truth be told, the deciding factor was that they deliver to our area and we don’t live close to the restaurant. The first time I ordered online — very easy and when I was done the site quoted the time the driver would arrive and he arrived to the minute! This time hubby called the order in and they were great. When the driver came, he was personable and offered menus and coupons. Hubby said he was a really friendly, happy guy. Last time we ordered a Grandfather pizza that had 2 thin circles of dough encasing toppings of our choice. We ordered fresh spinach, eggplant and ricotta cheese. It was HUGE and very filling. I couldn’t finish one slice. See the pics and you’ll see why. Today hubby was hungry — we kept working and didn’t realize how many hours passed until we had finished. Ten trash bags and a few bushes later we realized we needed to eat. So he over-ordered. At least the freezer is packed now! We had a Sicilian(square) pie Country Style(mushroom, olives, onions, eggplant, peppers, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese). It was enormous(see the pics to see I’m not exaggerating). They did something so smart that I’ve never seen before — they used two rolls to keep the pizza box lid from crushing into the pizza. Very smart!(They also offer gluten-free pies so everyone can enjoy.). Hubby ordered an eggplant rollatini and pasta dish, spaghetti with garlic and oil, and a small Nutella pie. Now you know why the freezer ate well today too! I only sampled the dishes but enjoyed every bite. The eggplant rollatini was stuffed with ricotta and in a smooth tomato sauce — not sugary sweet but fresh tasting. The pasta that came with it was well cooked and delicious. The spaghetti with garlic was the best we’ve had yet. It’s such a simple dish that many restaurants screw up, but they didn’t. It had bits of fresh garlic, parsley and a hint of salt. It was just lovely. And I added some freshly grated cheese on top so I was loving lunch! We split a piece of the Nutella pie — it was like the Grandfather pie in that it had filling between two circles of dough. The Nutella was not smoothed out to the edge, which I did myself, but other than that it was perfect. They drizzled chocolate sauce and a light sprinkling of powdered sugar on top. After all the calories I went out and worked in the yard a bit more — to say I’m sore is a fabulous understatement. But I loved our meal and look forward to raiding the freezer later this week!

2.5 stars really but I’ll round up because the online ordering system was super user friendly. The food arrived quickly/hot and the driver was very polite. I’m still searching for great NY style pizza and I have my go to spots in Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale so when I saw the positive reviews for Strombolis in Plantation(my hood) I bookmarked it to give it a shot when I did not feel like cooking. Tonight was one of those nights. We thought about ordering a specialty pie but I wanted to try cheese to see if it could hold up to competitors. Unfortunately, it did not :-(It was rather bland so I added oregano, cheese, hot pepper flakes, and garlic just to give it flavor. The garlic rolls we ordered were run of the mill. I would be hard pressed to order from here again. It’s a shame to say but I think chain pizza places have better flavor…

A friend of mine suggested that this was some of the better pizza in the South Florida area. He said to check it out. It’s a little hard to find this place. It’s located toward the back of a shopping complex next to Dicks Sporting Goods. Don’t let the fact that this place is surrounded by retail and food chains dissuade you from going. Some of the best pizza I’ve found is hidden away in otherwise nondescript strip malls. So the garlic rolls with cheese are great. Heavy on the butter, garlic, and melty cheese with a nice flaky crust. Very nice. The pizza is good too. Good crust, nice sauce with a decent spice to it. The sauce to cheese ratio is right. Decent toppings(albeit fairly limited selection). The crust is perhaps a little less floppy than I like, but that’s probably nitpicking. Not cheap, but not overly expensive either. Definitely a contender for best pizza in the area.

Hallelujah… I’m doing the gospel shout!!! This was the B-E-S-T pizza I’ve had in forever!!! I found out about this Mecca of Cheese, from my fellow Unilocalers. While I don’t consider pizza as the ideal dinner on a Saturday night, I took a chance. I ordered the Deluxe pizza with pepperoni, sausage and peppers. Baby, that thin crust, cheese and tomato sauce floored me. I just cannot look at those commercial pizza franchise’s the same ever again with any respect. I live in Miami and I have absolutely no problem making the trek up the road for this pizza. It’s just that good!!! Hallelujah…and pass me my car keys!!!

Strombollis pizza is awesome. You can’t go wrong with this thin crusted pizza. Almost as good as Jacaranda Italian Restaurant’s pizza, but an excellent second of not a tie. Clean place and great staff. It is so good, I had to eat a couple of slices in the car.

Incredible pizza! I always say when you try out a new place, read reviews and know what to expect. You’re not coming here for waiter/waitress service at a sit down style restaurant. You’re walking into a true Brooklyn style pizzeria that does some food items really well but does pizza incredibly. The owner behind the counter is a Gem… Straight outta Brooklyn, he’s got a great personality and definitely gives the experience and authentic feel. They’re happy to accommodate pretty much any request you might have and they do it with a smile. I always like to order a large pie half white, half regular and both sides are ridiculously good! They’re even willing to deliver outside of their area if they’re not too busy at the time. Overall… One of my favorites for pizza!

Still the best in Plantation! A favorite that is always consistent. New York pizza. Loads of cheese the way it is suppose to be. Yummy!
