Citibank

Only giving this branch 2 stars because this is the closest branch to me. The employees look miserable. They aren’t welcoming. I been coming here for a few years now and I believe it’s just the atmosphere there.
Like today, I just went to add another account to my existing account and the lady who helped me, yes lady as she didn’t even introduce herself, was dry. Funny thing is that she opened my account for me when I first moved here which I am sure she saw on the computer and she made no conversation about it. Actually, no conversation at all. She opened the account and just told me to go to the teller to do the transfer. I just had to come home and research more about the account since she literally said no words about it so I don’t even know if there is any terms to it.
If you want to avoid the workers, there is two drive up ATMs. There is an ATM machine inside (the one closest to the door) with a dead roach in the booth for a few months now. Does it not decompose? Are they ever going to clean it up?

Service is usually quick, and for the most part the tellers are friendly. They’ve recently changed their hours, though, which makes it difficult to go during the week. Additionally, they are open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

While I don’t have an account with Citibank, I am often at this location to cash my commission checks. They don’t charge a fee for cashing the check without an account like other banks do, which is a bonus. The tellers are very nice and remember me whenever I visit the branch. They also know the other company employees who visit and ask me about them as well. It’s a big bank but they have the personalized service of a smaller bank. If I wasn’t already happy with my current bank, I may consider a switch but for now, I’ll remain the Duchess of check cashing at this location!

Citibank has got to be the worst! My credit card which I have had for about 20 years was quietly raised to a rate of 27 or 29 percent. I forget exactly but isn’t that like a USURY rate??? So, I called to complain and got it lowered to 17% Still much higher than most other bank cards or just about any other source of credit you could obtain! To add insult to injury,
Citibank sent us a «Priority Pass» in the mail. entitling us to premier access to 600 VIP airport lounges… down the bottom of the card THE HITCH… you will be billed $ 27/​per person for each visit… which will be conveniently billed directly to your mastercard!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I THINK NOT!!! There are too many expletives to express how disappointed I am with Citibank!
