I love this place, Elizabeth has been cutting my hair for almost 7 years and she was the first (and only) person to color it, I would not go to anyone else for my ombré hair. She is the best at both, haircut and color.

I have been searching for a salon that can highlight my hair the way i want it highlighted for the past three years. I decided to try Moda Salon and I could not be happier with how my hair turned out. It’s perfect. I liked it so much that i decided last minute to have my hair cut and styled by them as well. They were very accommodating and everyone there was very friendly. I’ve received numerous compliments on my hair since ive had it done and it even got me a second date! Thank you ladies! I will see you guys again in two months.

Elizabeth at Moda is phenomenal with both color and cut. She has been doing my hair for a few years off and on, but now I am a true believer. I went to someone else for awhile who did my roots and my cut and did a fair job until… she did my highlights– wow talk about messed up. So I went back to Elizabeth for a consultation and she absolutely would not let me leave with out her fixing my color. 6 months later my hair is in much better condition and the color is beautiful. The products at the salon are Kerastase and are really great for your hair. I understand what the previous reviewer said and yes she does have another stylist to help her at times to apply color or help with the blow dry (never the style) and yes it does get confusing with the tipping but she is a master stylist and always does the cut and determine the color combinations. Most top salons do have assistants to assist with different processes. I just figure it out. Whatever they get they get and I don’t sweat it. But, although Elizabeth is the owner I still tip her, she is totally worth it. She has never said to me don’t forget to tip the other woman that sounds strange, maybe it was some other stylist. Whatever, try it –I don’t think you will be disappointed By the way my hair is curly wavy and it’s impossible to find someone that can cut it and not chop it up or want to straighten it. If you go on their website they will send you a free coupon for a deep conditioning treatment.

I went here a while ago for a blow dry. Overall, the experience was good, they gave a nice head massage and a blow dry. The blow dry was about a 8 on a scale of 1 – 10.
The reason why I am giving them 3 stars is because I have really thick hair, so while I was getting my hair done, one of the other hair dressers decided to help for the last 10 min to hurry the drying process. That part didn’t bother me, but when I paid, I tipped the woman who washed my hair and the woman who I had the appointment with. She then said to me– don’t forget to tip the other woman. I have never had a problem tipping and am a generous tipper, but I don’t think it was my responsibility to tip her. At the moment, I did not want to be rude, so I tipped the other one too, but I didn’t make an appointment with two hair dresses. They should’ve figured out the tips amongst themselves and not make the customer responsible for double tipping.
Either way, I never went back and won’t be going back.
