Worst public I have been to in S. Fl. Service at the deli or sandwich counter. Most of the cashiers are borderline rude and the on duty managers stand around like they don’t care. Sucks that this is my neighborhood store. May have to start driving to the one father away that one is amazing

Convenient location, but that’s about it. The staff is overworked and often rude. Lines are always long. The 10 items or less was even closed during lunch. Takes about 20 – 30 minutes to get a sub, even when it’s not busy. This Publix is on its way to being closed.

This is a standard Publix overall. This is one of two nearest to my house and this one offers better parking than the other. The only complaint, and this goes for all Publix, is the deli is always understaffed. Aside from that, the store is clean and well maintained.

This location is average as far as Publix goes. They have a good selection and rarely are out of stock of any items. It is also ideally situated, being about a block west of University and Sunrise and there is always plenty of parking. The staff is helpful, but extremely busy over lunch hour. I recommend shopping before 11:30 am or after 1pm, especially during the weekdays as I think many people make a pit stop here for lunch.

Might as well write a review since I am here at least once a week. I went coming here. It’s kept very clean and has been recently renovated. I don’t think I’ve ever had to look further than around the corner for assistance… All of the employees seem nice and happy to help out. Coming here makes grocery shopping a pleasant experience.

I have 4 Publix stores within a mile of my home. I also have a slight addiction to Publix! I go to this one when I’m on Sunrise Blvd. or in the plaza for something else(they have a big Dollar Tree) but I digress.
This store has an odd layout that I’m not accustomed to so I don’t like to do my «full» grocery shopping here. However, I’ll pick up a few quick items, if needed. I would say if I had to rank my Publix favorites in order, this would be my 3rd choice.

I shop at this Publix often, as it is the closest one to where I live; I’ve been going there for years. As far as selection and prices, everything is completely standard. The store is clean enough, and for the most part, the employees are friendly and helpful. My issue with this store is with the quantity of staff on hand, which is either a corporate, or managerial issue. Perhaps both. The Deli is always understaffed. ALWAYS. I often see it on the faces of the deli workers — the face of someone who is overwhelmed with too many customers, and not enough helpers on hand — sometimes, they either don’t actually have enough people on the clock, or there are deli clerks who are preoccupied with other tasks. Either way, there is what seems to be a constant lack of workers at any given time; I shop there at different times on different days, and it’s always like that. Being a patient person, I’m not too put off by it, but it is certainly an issue. The check out areas are almost as bad. I’d say that during approximately 70% of my visits, there are not enough cashiers on staff. I personally prefer to bag my own groceries, so it’s inconsequential to me that there aren’t enough baggers, but there often aren’t. Ultimately, this Publix provides what you’d expect from any Publix, as far as stock variety and cleanliness, but I believe that a larger amount of staff at any given time is greatly needed. They seem to have their staff performing more than what should be expected of a single employee. I don’t think that it’s fair to the employees or the customers to keep the store so understaffed.

I’ve lived in Florida my whole life and this by far was the worst publix I’ve been to. I placed an online order at 820pm and it wasn’t ready by the time I requested. I went to the store to pick it up at 900pm and none of the staff members were aware of the order. The person who made my sub obviously was not trained for the deli. She was apologetic and waived the cost of my sub but I will not be coming back.

Staff is great, I love that the majority of the staff has been there for years! I really miss the many that worked in the deli, he was great. I hate when the occasional cashier won’t take my coupons, I have the easy ones, $ 5 of $ 30. I am spending $ 250, don’t tell me you can only take one! Ask your manager, he’ll let you take all eight. The only downside to this Publix is that they don’t carry the premium products you can find at the other locations down the street… but the truth is this one caters to all the senior citizens around here, and what are they going to do with Crème fraîche?

This is a nice size plublix, better than the last experience I had in the Publix by my house. There are a lot of elderly people here too but what do you expect from the Sunrise community. It is full of retirement communities. The only bad experience that I had here is that they messed up my sisters bridal shower cupcakes.

I’m giving this Publix 4 stars because it is clean and the staff is good. It’s decent sized with great aisle space. Be warned though: this is the geriatric Publix! Buses from the surrounding retirement and assisted living communities literally line up to let the seniors disembark. It’s everything you’d expect… arguing with the deli personnel, not understanding the check-out process, moseying down the aisle like a slug. We will all be there one day, but if you’re not in the mood for slow-moving dementia go to the one on Broward Blvd. I know I sound a little harsh(hey, my grandmother shops here after all), but sometimes it’s annoying to go in for a few items and deal with the bitter old folks.

Now this is a decent Publix. Larger then average, well kept and friendly staff. I found the produce, meats and fish all to be fresh and yummy looking. Come here for your main grocery store. It’s worth it.
