Regal Cinemas Broward Stadium 12 & RPX

Great movie theater that offer late movies and plenty of parking. The seats are comfortable and the prices are about average. I’ve been here a couple of times and one thing they have is late movies. I believe the last time I went we caught a movie at 11pm. Not bad for when your dinner went longer than expected.

Searching ladies purses? ?? Disgusting! ! Are u also patting down men? Whats next? Xray machine’s? Your practicre is very insulting! ! R u discriminating women because we carry purses? What is the real reason for asking women to have their purses sesrched? Is it for security or to endure your profit at the concession stand? I am certain that your practices have nothing to do with recent incidents at movie theaters. It’s all about being greedy with your patrons. Your practices are insulting, offensive and discriminatory! ! When I requested a refund for the movie tickets the manager could have cared less for the reasoning behind my request. This feedback relates to the Regal 12 theaters at the Broward Mall

I began my love affair with the Regal Cinema chain in Hollywood at the Oakwood. A charming young lady, by the name of Jamie, was the GM and man did she go out of her way to be nice which is something that just doesn’t happen at movie theaters these days.
I like the Oakwood so much I have traveled around to visit all of their locations in the area and to my delight I found Jamie here just as nice and competent as ever. She runs a taught ship because the theater is spotless and the help is well trained. It is also a wonderful theater for kids. They have added an old fashioned photo booth, seating opposite the concession stand, and a party room for children’s birthdays. (It contains it’s own facilities within.)
I am really not surprised because Jamie is such a pro and so polite I cannot imagine anything going wrong and if it did she would fix it in a jiffy.
She is the type of corporate employee to have because she is innovative and a doer.

This is a nice and clean movie theater. They have kiosks in the front that make buying tickets quickly pretty effortless. The theater that I was in was very big and had comfortable chairs that somewhat reclined when pushed. No complaints!

I’m really spoiled when it comes to movies, as I’ve probably mentioned in a few other reviews, my brother works at a movie theater and can always get me the exact seats I want at the times I want, and I don’t have to wait in lines. I’m used to being VIP. That being said this Regal still isn’t anything special, I almost went with two stars, but because I am so spoiled elsewhere, I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt.
First of all, this movie theater is a little confusing. Maybe I was being blonde, but if you enter the mall from the closest entrance to the theater, the theater opens up to the immediate right with the concessions area. There are two kiosks where you can buy tickets, and a guest service counter with no one manning it. I was incredibly confused. I had a Regal voucher that I couldn’t use at the kiosk, and I didn’t think I was just supposed to buy my tickets at the concession stand, so I kind of wandered around lost for a few minutes. Finally I saw an employee enter the guest service area and I pretty much had to run over and get their attention as they were moving very quickly. She informed me that I had to exit the theater and go around to the right. So it turns out if you come from inside the mall it is every obvious where to buy tickets as there is a giant glass ticketing area; however, this is not clear coming in from the mall theater entrance. Upon second evaluation there actually is a sign, but in my opinion it needs to be larger, and maybe light up, and maybe have some staff inside to direct confused people who come in from outside. The voucher transaction was easy once I figured out where I was supposed to be to get my ticket.
Upon entering I decided to stop at the concession stand. I never buy movie snacks, but I wanted something sweet and after two margaritas the movie prices never seem as bad (we had bee to The Whole Enchilada across the way before the movie). The concessions line was LONG. Like really long, like how can ordering candy and soda possibly end in this sort of line. A few of the girls went in first to save seats as with this concession line we would have ended up in horrible seats otherwise. When I finally got to the front of the line the cashier disappeared, so I stood there unsure for about 3 – 5 minutes before she returned, apparently she was dealing with another customers more complicated kitchen order (they do have a few fried kitchen items as well as hot dogs). They were out of sour patch kids, which I was taken aback by, to me that is such a popular movie item how are there not just always cases available? I will cut them some slack there as my brother confirmed that his theater also runs out of sour patch kids somewhat often as they are just that popular. I was however able to get a replacement sour snack for the «reasonable» $ 3.50ish.
Entering the movie the seats are stadium style, but they are just very close together, just not the luxury I am used to for a similar price tag. I just felt like we were all crushed in there like sardines. Another issue I had was that assigned seats weren’t available for this showing. It seems this theater does have assigned seats, but only for certain showings, and maybe the theaters with assigned seats are more spacious? Regardless I don’t like that I am paying for a ticket not knowing where I will end up. If there aren’t any decent seats available I would rather know, and I don’t want to be camped out 20 minutes early to get a reasonable seat. The actual movie play went smoothly.
Based on my review you can probably guess I won’t be in a rush to come back; however, this theater does have a few redeeming qualities, and I can see why it would be a good choice for some. First of all parking wasn’t an issue as it would be at the Sawgrass location, second the theater is new looking and rather clean. They also had a fun candy vending machine that reminded me of a coke freestyle machine but for candy. Regal also offers a rewards program to earn free popcorn, candy, soda, and tickets. I’ve been a member of that for years, and although I don’t do Regal much anymore, I have received a good amount of free stuff for someone who doesn’t go to a Regal that often. Lastly, the location is pretty good with many dinner options nearby to make a decent date night.

Great new theater! I’ve only been here only a couple of times but I’m glad they opened a theater in a more central Broward location. It seems a lot smaller than a few of the other local theaters but it’s actually quite large inside. The parking does get a little hectic, especially on the weekends, due to it being inside the Broward Mall but it’s not nearly as big of a hassle as Sawgrass Mills parking. Make sure to get there early! Movie times sell out unusually fast and sometimes the line for concessions is kind of long. Their restrooms are super clean and I like that they have the exit doors no where near the entry doors so it doesn’t get too congested with moviegoers coming and going. Overall my most recent experience was great. I hope they can maintain the newness of the theater and continue giving the patrons awesome Regal Cinema service!

I used to drive to Regal Sawgrass whenever I wanted to see a movie. Needless to say, I am super stoked that they opened this theater at the Broward Mall. It is so much closer and way more convenient than driving out west and having to deal with the parking of Sawgrass Mills. No real complaints considering the theater is new. It would be nice to see a few more registers open during peak hours.

After becoming the Duke of theater (16 check ins), I must downgraded from a 4 to a 1. The last three times that I have been here the lines have been outrageous and management doesn’t seem to give a crap.
When this theater first opened it was by far the nicest theater in the area but over the last month some new competition has come in who really seems to want to please their customers. I hope that management to get their act together. We have waited for 27 minutes for food and all I see is

Surprisingly good theater, great sound, super steep, comfortable seats, very very nice, I’ve been around and this place surprised me!

Very clean and efficient. Line was quick to move. I wasn’t a fan of the constantly changing menus in the concession area flipping through advertisements and the menu faster than I could make up my mind… Why not leave the menu up and flip through ads on the other screens!
Definitely would enjoy a movie there again.

So I honestly only come here because of its’ distance to my home. If I am trying to see a movie close a home, I am going to choose Broward Regal over Paragon Ridge any day…
This Regal was recently built and when I first saw it being built I was super excited over the idea until I realized… it’s at Broward Mall. Not the worst mall ever but definitely not Aventura quality. I already know coming to this theater on the weekends is out of the question.
The entrance is odd. There is doors on the curb that you would think is the entrance but nope, its the exit. You have to enter the mall to access it. Another weird thing, only two kiosks? Really? Who buys tickets from real people anymore? I was surprised to see two lonely kiosks to purchase/​pick up tickets. I can’t imagine the lines for them on the weekend. The theaters itself is nice. I was surprised by how comfy the seats were. I have seen someone post a picture on here of leather seats somewhere in this location, where!!! I want to try lol. As for the person who bought their cat to the movies (check out the photos for this location) — kudos, I want to snuggle my pet in a public movie theater!
Do I need to comment on their food here? I mean it’s a movie theater you know your dropping $ 30 bucks on a soda and candy that is mostly filled with air and 5 pieces inside. I definitely will return to this theater the WEEK DAYS I want to enjoy a nice movie but besides that, you can catch me at AMC Coral Ridge.

This is my go-​to movie theater. Once reason is that it is close to home and secondly, it’s a REGAL, which means you are getting REWARDS! Their rewards are awesome, free popcorn, $ 1.00 off candy, free candy, free movie, etc. I came here during the week (if you come on the weekend expect to walk a lot since you will be parking your car a mile away or more and large teenager crowds) to see The Avengers. There were no lines, parking is great since it is located inside the Broward Mall, it is clean and the seats are pretty spacious. The best part was that the popcorn was HOT!

For Regal Movie Theaters, Broward Regal is my top choice. This theater is located inside the Broward Mall. There’s an entrance inside the mall and an entrance outside the mall. Since this theater is a chain theater, the ticket prices and concession prices are the same as most. You have the option of ordering tickets online or at the box office at the movie theater. For tickets, they offer; regular, RPX, and 3D. Since this theater is brand new, everything is in excellent condition. Let’s just hope it stays that way.

I had my sons 9^th birthday party here tonight for the Spongebob opening weekend. The staff was great! Darwin the manager was very accommodating. Our party was running late so he suggested we see the next show time, which I’m so glad he did because by the time the boys got settled down and ordered snacks the timing was perfect. The kids had a great time! The theater was packed. After the movie we went into the party room for cake. They take care of all the decorations & tableware. Just bring the cake. Great job! Fun was had by all. Thank you Regal Broward Stadium 12!

My first visit to this was a good experience. I was smart enough to read the reviews first on Unilocal so I went armed and dangerous with a long sleeve shirt and a thick jacket, so temperature wise I was good. I would much more prefer to be chilly than hot. The theater was full and the room temperature was great with all of my armour.
The theater sound was on point. Volume, bass, acoustics, were all of superb quality. The theater was very clean and the seats do lean back and rock which I loved. Additionally, there was ample leg space and cup holders on both sides of the seats so you were comfortable and not squished.
I was able to secure my ticket on line and have it sent directly to my phone with Fandango app. I walked right in and showed it to the ticket taker who scanned the QR code and off I went. Loved the convenience!
My only complaints are as most theaters in general… cost of popcorn and drinks is nuts, but then again, I didn’t have to pay, so why complain?
Don’t forget to sign up for your Regal Rewards card so that you can earn points for food and tickets! Bön movie! :-)

Decided to check out this theater for the first time to see Selma. Well we arrived for the first showing so I did not get to see this theater in operation at peak hours. There were a good amount of people for matinée time frame, but we were the first few so it was difficult to really see the place in full action.
This is what I was able to observe. Of course the theater being new it is expected to be nice and clean. Which it was the lobby is ver spacious but I would have to say a lot of wasted space.
My only negative I have for this place at this time is that I only saw two self serve ticket kiosk. That’s not good in my opinion being early in the day each kiosk was at least 8 – 10 people deep so I can imagine the later movies. Another thing the lady next to me was having difficult working the kiosk which slowed her line up and I had to assist her. Maybe having a worker in that area when it’s busy to help the flow a little. My side the theater was very nice and extremely clean the seats were very soft and comfortable the arm rest on the last row where I were sitting raise and the seats rock and are not stiff. My only other small complaint would be when they were showing the preview on the action movie trailers the bass was extremely high which produced a distortion and rattle. This was not an issue during the movie being it was not an action movie but certainly something that may require a little attention. Otherwise, I enjoyed the theater pack a jacket it was cold!!!

This is one of the newer movie theaters in Broward. It’s small (compared to Cinemark or Sawgrass). The theaters are really nice though. Their all leather seating and very comfortable.
This theater is connected to the Broward Mall, which has driven more traffic into the mall. Good for the mall businesses … Bad for those of us who actually loyally shopped here and no one else did. It’s not as quiet and dead as it once was.
Just like any «new» business it’s had a lot of traffic since it opened not that long ago. Honestly don’t think they were prepared for how busy they would be. If you go on a Fri or Sat evening be prepared to wait in line.
Overall, a good theater … It’s not ghetto (yet).

Wow, I was really impressed with this theater. It’s new and clean. The seats are comfortable and have more cushion than other theaters in Miami.
The line for the box office can get long and slow on the weekends, but they do have two touchscreen kiosks to the side that is usually quicker.
I just wish I could use Costco bought movie tickets at the kiosks or the customer service counter.
Parking is free all around the mall.
Some people in our party were disturbed by other movie goers who felt the need to talk throughout the movie unfortunately. I didn’t hear them much because I was at the other end of the row.

I been to this theater 3 or 4 times now & I really like it. The screens are wider than some of the theaters I been to before as well. The seats are very comfortable & the isles are spacious. Its always clean and never a packed house. I come here on those night I want to avoid the crowd enjoy a movie and relax.

This is a BRAND NEW theater-​so there should be all the amenities. I always Fandango my tickets ahead of time to avoid lines at the theater and to guarantee seats. When we got to the theater, I was disappointed to see only 2 kiosks near a customer service desk. So I was stuck in line to pick up my tickets regardless. It appeared to me that those 2 kiosks were the only place you could buy tickets in the entire place-​I didn’t see a window at all. So before a popular movie it appears that it could get very crowded very quickly, and people in general tend not to know how to use self serve anything. Having ticket agents would definitely speed up the process, and more kiosks would definitely too.
The theater itself was nothing special-​they were stadium seated, but I’m used to fully automated recliner chairs and reserved seats. The refreshment line was a tad too long since there were only 2 people working at the time-​on a Thursday night on a holiday weekend :/​
This is a good location and a brand new theater with the potential to be great. But I think Regal needs to step up and hire more people-​I think that’s the main problem we ran into last night, since the last thing I want to do is miss my movie since I’m waiting in line for a soda. I’m not sure if I would go back-​I might drive farther to an AMC theater where they’re better managed.
