This place is great. Every time i go I have the same thing which is the basil rice. They will make it with the level of spice that you choose. It is soooooo good! I get it with steamed tofu. You can choose between steamed and fried. The other options for this rice is chicken, shrimp, or beef. It is located in a big shopping center to parking is a breeze. The staff is extremely nice and take out is an option.

Honestly, I got a flyer and decided to try. I usually read the Unilocal reviews before but time I ordered then read the reviews. I was nervous but thought maybe they are wrong. Got the food and could not believe what they sent me to eat! The food I ordered was inedible!!! I chucked it out. Gross does not begin to describe the food.

I ordered twice takeout and the Food is very consistent. The Food was Terrible both times. The Roast Duck was so Old that I thought it came back from Reincarnated. It was so dark and so dry and«Flat». I mean like run over by a Truck. The Color was Blackish with a Brown tint. It was so dry that it must have been raised in a Cage. That’s how dry it was. Then my other experience was 4 Days before and I ordered 2 Easy American Chinese Dishes. Sesame Chicken and General Chow Chicken. They were so bad they tasted almost the same. I ordered Hot & Sour Soup and if was Fricking cold. WTF? Cold Soup from a Chinese Restaurant. Normally the Soups are always so Hot that you want to kill the People at the Restaurant cause your Mouth is Burnt and Singed. I can tell you that by the Food that comes out of Stix that it Will NEVERBEFAIR, let alone good. I never mentioned that you would never, ever want to eat on their 4 Greasy, dirty Tables. I gave it 1 Star so maybe someone will eat there after a Hurricane cause it’s the Only Restaurant Open. P. S. it’s in a great Spot to not Find it, except they tell you«next to Publix»…

Love it here! I work in the same plaza and was very happy to find a Chinese food place. Hoping they were good, I ordered dinner and loved it! The owner Johnny is incredibly nice. Food is great! Want some good food, go here!

Picked up dinner for my husband and I last night since I was in the area. Hot and Sour soup was sweet and the fried rice was wet! I woke up @ 2am having the chills with vomit and diarrhea! urgh!

food was blah, typical Chinese buffet taste and place was dirty. bottom of table was covered in gum and booth seats felt sticky and were covered in crumbs. fried rice was overcooked and tasted burnt, egg foo young tasted like cardboard, and the kung pao shrimp tasted off. and to make things even worse the waitress barely spoke English. definitely won’t be going back ! it’s no wonder the place has rats !

better than many 2 star reviews but not great. the hot and sour soup is very good and the garlic eggplant was also really good. the fried rice is disappointing and the egg-rolls are so so. its super convenient so i’ll probably try again. there are better options in the area… my quest for exceptional Chinese take out continues but for a quick meal Stix Oriental is ok

First time I ordered out here my fried rice tasted like burnt oil. But I am always willing to give an establishment another try since perhaps I caught them on a off day. Well my next experience was similar. So I am not sure how they were voted one of the top Chinese restaurants in broward. Won’t ever try again.

Sitting just off to the side of Publix, this chinese hole-in-the-wall offers exactly what I ask for in Asian take-out. The food is the same as every other chinese take-out restaurant I have been to, taste and all. It’s good, but nothing really stands out as unique other than the half roast duck(which I will be trying at some point). This is why you would come to this restaurant: order standard chinese cuisine to take home for movie night. The décor and appearance take a backseat on the budget priority list, which is typical of most restaurants of this caliber. My time there is not spent sitting at the several tables they have, so this is not a huge gripe. Go for the food and leave to go eat it.

What can I say… I ordered delivery and I’m all ready to eat and no fork, no spoon. I work at an office, not a Walmart so I can’t go to isle 3 and grab a fork… the rice was that cheap yellow fried rice too. All in all it was about as exciting as playing darts in a pitch black dark room.

I lived in South Florida for 4 years and this was(and still is!) my favorite chinese takeout. My husband and I have tried many other places after moving away, but they constantly disappoint. We have a decent place now, but when we recently returned to Florida for a vacation we realized how much we missed Stix. Other restaurants had gone down hill since we left, but Stix still puts out good food. I wish they were up here!
