It’s been about 10 years since I’ve been in the Champlain Centre mall, and sadly it hasn’t improved. When we hit the food court, it was alarming to see there were even fewer spots than the last time we were in, and Bangkok Grill was the only establishment that we recognized. Some of the food isn’t that great. It’s greasy, over sweetened Chinese fare with little kick. The samples we were offered, not sure what it was supposed to be, but it tasted like a chicken finger that had been dipped in corn syrup. I know know everyone likes spice, but if I order something like Kimchi, I expect to feel a bit of a burn, and while there was a mild hint of spice, it didn’t burn my tongue and throat as I was expecting. My husband opted for the Pick 2/Pick 2 special they had, but I wanted something I figured they had to make on the spot and went with a hibachi meal. My meal was the superior of the two. It was fresh, hot, and well flavored. My husband was a little disappointed by the amount he was charged. It was explained to him that for the $ 4.95(great deal) you picked two meats and two sides. He did so and was told since he picked four items, there was an additional charge of $ 1. The board said 2 meats and 2 sides, so we don’t know what’s up with that. In the end, I really miss having a sit down restaurant in the mall, and I certainly miss the Greek place that used to be in the food court when I was younger.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Montreal, Canada
I was having dinner later but was starving, so decided on trying it here. I had pretty low expectations for this place and it’s $ 4 menu. But this was some of the best asian I had in a while. 2 types of chicken, a serving of veggies and some fried rice for a bargain price. It really hit the spot, one of the better options in this food court. They also have some take-out sushi, will try it next time.
