Just left Dockside where we gathered for brunch after my friends graduation ceremony. Only 2 out of the 12 people in our party had decent meals. The pancakes must have been cooked a day or two ago, the hash browns were a pool of grease, and nothing was seasoned properly. It was an absolute waste of $ 200+ dollars. The server was very nice and very patient with our large party, but the food was a major disappointment.

I love the atmosphere of this place. There’s a great patio area, with a fire pit — you might be able to catch the sunset there. I thought the bartenders in the back whiskey bar of playa provisions were much friendlier. I had a lobster roll and the baked cauliflower. The cauliflower was good but I wouldn’t get it again and felt like I could make it at home. Thought the food was way overpriced for what it was. The drinks were fantastic though. I’d come back for drinks and the atmosphere. Food… Meh? Which is weird because I love all the other food at tripel and in the whiskey bar

So happy to see a business thriving in this location. Great lunch snacks, delicious fish dinners, right next to the beach.

Great new spot. Two visits consistent with great food and service. Somewhat limited menu(especially for non-seafood lovers) but some fun apps and sides. Excellent short rib. Only complaint is really bad acoustics.

Had a fantastic dinner here. Great new spot and very much needed in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is fun. The outdoor space is super inviting. The seafood tower is a must. Delicious and plentiful. Also loved the ceviche, scallops and grits for a side dish. The home made ice creams are a must to finish off a very memorable dinner. Look forward to going back.

Dockside will probably live up to its owners’ reputations eventually, but it is not there yet, Of the four items we shared, one was very good, one was almost good and the rest were okay. We sat inside, where it was very loud, and while loud is okay at Dockside’s sister restaurant, the Tripel, it is annoying here. The patio was gorgeous, quieter, and full. The best thing we had was the Sardines, two big, tasty and perfectly prepared specimens with a delightful pomegranate chimchurri-like sauce and braised leeks. The lobster twice-baked potato was good, but lacked seasoning, and was too bland. We had the seafood louie salad. While the seafood was well-prepared and of good quality, the salad was completely bland. The same thing was true of the uni-garlic umami ciabatta. The utter lack of uni or garlic flavor left us with some nice, well-buttered, but umami-less pieces of bread. I know these folks can do better!
