I came with a group of friends one time looking to try something new. Didn’t expect to find a place that already has everything we could want do to in one building. The karaōke rooms were amazing, they gave a very private feel to them. After karaōke, we all hung out and played pool while enjoying the music. Service was polite and they gave us our space, but made sure to still check in with us to make sure we were having a great time. Found a new hang out spot and I can’t wait to bring more friends next time.

This place is FREAKING amazing. If you were considering going to jaguar next door, well don’t! This is like jaguar, BUT on steroids. Plus the people who work here know how to represent and not call you names. The two guys working tonight were effortlessly kind. I asked him if I could see the karaōke rooms and he showed me each and every room and gave me every detail on it. OMG, like seriously, best karaōke rooms I’ve ever seen. Like beautiful, I’m can’t wait to come here for my birthday and that’s all the way in September. The design is spectacular! The furniture was so comfy. They also have a dance floor, I seriously can’t wait for people to start realizing how awesome this place is so we can all party together. I also saw some people vaping in here, which was pretty cool. To top everything off, as soon as their permits get approved(in the very near future) they will be having hotpot and ALCOHOL! This is like a club/bar, karaōke, video games and billiards all in one! I’m still amazed by how amazing the karaōke rooms are! They even have spin tables where you can have a DJ. There prices are extremely reasonable. I could definitely see this becoming one of my regular spots. They have 4 pool tables so it may be busy on the weekends! I just can’t wait to try the hotpot and alcohol combo. Will keep you guys updated as things may change! Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Always drove past this place straight to Jaguar right next door, and decided to finally give this place a try since they had a sloppy bartender that ruined our mood the other night. Came at 12:30AM to play billiards with my boyfriend and his friend and I have to say, it is one of the nicest places we have went for billiards. The setting is very comfortable and have a chill vibe to it. This place isn’t… what’s the word for it? dirty compared to our usual spot. Didn’t have the chance to try out the hot pot yet, but we did order a smoothie and green tea there. It tasted exactly like any milk tea spot. Definitely coming back next time to try the food with the rest of my friends and to play more billiards!

The place is very beautiful and clean with high investment. The best thing is that they have the best Karaōke system and KJ Al in place. Fun and great. The down side was unready kitchen for real food and bar plus long wait for food. Still Al raised the bar by his entertainment covering everything. We live far away but will come visit every two months so the downside does not bother us. Still love the ambiance, entertainment, cleanliness. We will give it a chance to progress to the best so team, do not give up, you will be great once everything complete. Talked to the staff who worked there and believe they were part owners, it has been opened not long ago. I am sure they got taste and dedication So it will be great…

Enjoyed myself. Then I realized this isn’t a bar. And I’m not 15. So I left. Please get a liquor license and stop advertising as an adult place. it’s annoying.

They guy who says the place is not a bar… it’s not a bar YET! The liquor license will come thru soon. It is an awesome place for larger size parties of people who want to dance, sing, and have fun in an inviting atmosphere. The song choices for karaōke are MANYMANYMANY and yes, they are INENGLISH. Not sure what that guy is talking. The plus is he has a good selection of songs in Spanish also. The seating is extremely comfortable and it is more of a lounge atmosphere with«club lighting». This place didn’t spare any expense when it comes to the light effects. The private karaōke rooms are awesome and the pool tables are a plus for those not interested in singing. Great place!

This place sucks. I’ve tried it twice now. First, it’s not a bar. There is a cheap bar literally next door that has more to offer than this place. I was stoked about 9 games, but there is only pool and video games? Counting karaōke that’s only 3 games? I asked the guy what else they had(because it only seems like pool) and he confirmed that there’s video games and pool only. Why does this place exist?! Right when we walked in I got the tug on my arm to leave from my girlfriend. It’s always desolate– maybe one or two people. We went to do karaōke and the machine wasn’t in English. They get a star because the rooms are really nice– but there are no new songs and a horrible English selection(if you can navigate it after it takes 10 minutes to load). It was also pretty pricey for it being so empty two diff Saturday nights. There’s always a crappy loud band playing in the center of an empty, large, dark room. It’s a nice vibe if I could have a drink or play darts or football. Pool next door is cheaper and they have $ 4 drinks. darts next door aren’t well maintained so it’s a great opportunity for 9 game zone to lure me over every Saturday night. Make it actually 9 games and I’m there.

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I wanted to check this place out since I live really close to it, so I dragged my husband and sister along for a fun night out. Upon walking in we were greeted with a rude«what do you want?» by the Asian lady behind the counter. I explained to her that it was our first time here and we were interested in singing Karaōke. She replied with«do you want English songs? Because we only have a few English songs and when people go in and want English songs they come back out and want a refund and I’m not going to do that».(Side note: We are also Chinese but do not speak the language) I couldn’t believe how rude she was to us and wondered how they would have any positive reviews on Unilocal.Period. Never going back. Felt discriminated against for not speaking their language and was treated like total garbage instead of potential paying customers.

This place is most likely a whorehouse. I tried to meet some friends there for karaōke. I walked inside and the only 2 people inside where playing pool. They instantly turned and looked at me like I just walked inside their house uninvited. I was asked if they could help me and I said I was meeting some friends here. They told me my friends would be here later and stared at me until I left the premises. Next door was a bat which we ended up going to instead after finding out that game zone is all«private rooms» wtf, who wants to sing karaōke in private. The point is so you can make fun of your friends and yourself in front of people. It’s possible that all 8 of us who each showed up in groups of 1 and 2 and where strangely turned away just only to find the rest of the group next door are all crazy, but something is definitely up.

Best karaōke and pool place I have found in Bay Area. When I walk in, the sofa and pool are just makes me feel comfortable. In the karaōke room, everything is new and modern. Not a doubt I will come very often

Summary: Confusing karaōke system, bad English song selection, hidden fees tacked onto bill, terrible and rude customer service! I love karaōke, so I was so excited to try out this new karaōke spot! I guess my expectations were too high though, because I was very disappointed. I came with a group of friends(one of them already left a review!) on Friday night, 1÷23÷14. First impression when we walked in was great! There’s a lot of nice, roomy seating in the lounge area, everything looks new and super clean. The karaōke rooms are beautiful! Huge with more than enough seating. But… The first huge drawback was their karaōke system. As a regular at other karaōke establishments, I’m used to a system in which you can simply type in the music artist or the name of a song you want to sing, or look through a printed songbook and enter a code when you find your song. This system seemed like it should have worked like the typical digital search system, but it was extremely confusing and the search functions did not work properly for English songs. We had to call in an employee to show us how to use the system(you’d think they would have offered to show us when we first got there, huh?) and even he couldn’t figure it out. As a result, it took several minutes to find each song to sing, which wasted a lot of our hour-long session. And I’m still not sure if they had an awful selection of English songs, or if it just seemed that way because their system made it too hard to find any of the songs we wanted. So … the karaōke system might have made me dock a star. Even with the annoying karaōke system, I was still ready to like this place as it is such a nice, spacious place to hang out, and we did have a nice time playing pool and sitting around the lounge area after we were done with karaōke. However, my rating drops to one star thanks to our experience at the end of the night. The karaōke was supposed to be $ 35 an hour. When we were ready to pay, they charged us $ 60 … almost twice as much as we were told it would be. Their reasoning was that there’s a $ 10 fee that covers the«food»(two small bowls of chips that they put in our room without asking if we wanted them) and water, which seemed to be just a pitcher of tap water. Admittedly, $ 10 isn’t that much, and if we had known about the cover charge going in, we probably wouldn’t have minded. But the fact that they didn’t tell us about the cover charge made it an unpleasant surprise. Also, we went 10 minutes over an hour, and they tacked on an extra $ 15 to our bill. $ 15 for 10 minutes! 10 minutes that was spent sitting there watching one of their employees try to figure out their karaōke system. In my opinion, we should have gotten some extra time free for that mess. Anyway, if the hidden charges tacked onto our bill weren’t enough, the woman who was«helping» us while we paid was very rude about it. After handing her the money, she kept demanding that we were short on cash, but when my friend asked if she could count the money again, the woman refused to hand it back over. She said we were $ 2 short, and my friend asked if we could take the cash back and put it on a card, and the woman rudely said«No!» because it was«only $ 2!» so we had to scrounge to find another $ 2 in cash. In the end, we left feeling ripped off and very annoyed. Huge bummer, considering how excited I was to welcome a new karaōke spot to the area :(

What a cool find! My husband and I saw the new sign for 9 Game Zone and went in to see what it was. The place has only been open a couple of weeks and looks like it has a successful future ahead. This bar/karaōke/pool/gaming lounge offers something for everyone! There are several booths set up with touch screen computers and many others hooked up to PS3 consoles. In the center of the large room there are really nice, brand new pool tables. Near the bar there is a karaōke stage. They are still waiting to obtain their beer/wine license — but it’s coming soon! VIP rooms line a walkway to the back, and can be used for private karaōke parties or other private events. On Sunday night(12÷7÷14) they had a pool tournament with free entry and live music playing. Regular pool games can be played by-the-hour or for a flat $ 10 fee, with annual membership($ 10). The young manager was very welcoming. He is a student at DVC and very outgoing. I think he’ll do well running this kind of business. If you’re looking for some place new to check out, I’d recommend visiting this gaming zone with your 21+ friends.
