I love love this consignment store! I first found out about them several years ago when they were in their previous Walnut Creek location right across from the Kaiser Hospital. But they have since moved to their current location in Pleasant Hill. I prefer the new location better since parking is a lot easier(they have their own now). The old location didn’t have their own parking lot. I have been to this store many times and have purchased many great items from them pretty much each visit. It is a good size store with a lot of merchandise to go through. The only thing they don’t sell is clothing, which I secretly am hoping would change. But I guess they want to focus more on home furnishings. Although they do have jewelry/bags/scarves, which are definitely fashion-related. Anyways, I still secretly hope to see clothing someday. The store is clean and organized. Their staff(all volunteers) is wonderful and helpful. It is a cozy and relaxed place to shop in in my opinion. Their merchandise is in great resell condition and the prices are reasonable. I also have consigned with them and have had good luck with my stuff selling. And even if some don’t sell I still feel good about leaving them there with the store when my contract expires. I know that the $$ they make goes to a great cause(helping patients and their families with cancer). I should know this firsthand since I did lose my dearest spouse, Josh, to cancer back in 2011. That said, I ended up volunteering there shortly after his passing. And I very much enjoyed my time there. It was like home away from home and made me feel good going there every weekend for about a year. Hopefully someday I can go back to volunteering there again. Wishing you more success, Cornucopia! You will always have a special place in my heart…

I have been back to this store a few times since my last review and my opinion has not changed — this store is as good as it gets! I visited a couple days ago and bought a stunning, very rare china tea cup and saucer for $ 10, a vintage glass candy dish with silver overlay for $ 15, and a vintage framed botanical print for $ 10. Because some of the items had been there for a while, I received an additional 25% off of the cup and saucer and the picture had been 50% off. The ladies working were very nice and friendly. One of the ladies helped me out to my car — as my items were in two bags(isn’t that sweet?). Another salesperson came out to my car and asked me if I had seen the Shabby Chic chair they had(I had mentioned to her that I was really into the Shabby Chic look). I went back into the store and she showed me the most adorable chair ever. I only wished I had a spot in my house for it. Amazing customer service, a huge variety of antiques and home décor, great prices, and a very good cause.

As a designer, I buy vintage furniture to refurbish for my clients so I’ve seen many a consignment store in the last 7 years I’ve been in business. The staff is super sweet & friendly. I picked up some beautiful silverware as a gift for a very reasonable price. When I’m in the area, I’ll certainly be back.

I have bought many things from furniture to décor. I love purusing and seeing what i can find. However beware of placing an item on hold. They might sell it from under you. They made one attempt to call and left no message. When I called back about an hour later they had sold it. Really! They couldn’t wait and perhaps take that persons contact information. Her excuse was lame. I was very disappointed. It will be a awhile before I can go back.

Hands down the best consignment store in CCCo! Prices are amazing and you will not find a wider selection of items intriguingly displayed — this shop definitely makes the best use of its space. We have been fantastically lucky finding near-mint furniture here at prices that are really unbelievable. They also have a great variety of kitchenware spanning multiple decades, so you can get those perfect ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, or ‘80s accents. The people who run the shop are all volunteers, as the profits from this business(after paying the consigners) are donated to the Cancer Support Community. And like a lot of consignment shops, this one also discounts item prices on things that remain unsold a certain number of months. Finally, they work with a guy who handles delivery very professionally at affordable rates.

Pleasant Hill’s quality consignment store is open 11−4PM and is staffed by wonderful volunteers. Each room is filled with unique items. They have a jewelry room that also houses bags and scarves. There are bird cages, vases, pottery, baskets, chairs, tables, chests of drawers, candlesticks, colorful blown glass pieces, tea and cup saucers, plates, knick-knacks, easter items for now, bowls, framed pictures and original art, louis vitton bags(not handbags) for $ 25+, silver wares, lamps, pillows, magazine racks, mirrors, crystal, stemware, lacquer ware and much more. I even saw a set of samurai swords. You never know what you’ll find. All nicely displayed and all profits go to the Cancer Support Community that provides free programs of support, education and hope for people with cancer and their families. They could use your nice paper bags and bubble wrap for customers.

It was terrific and they delivered to my home! They have moved, I have not been to the new location. They are nice as pie, I wish them well. They are not quite as good as Consignment Plus, but they are more of a non-profit than a business, staffed by volunteers who may or may not know a lot about the items they sell. I upgraded to 5 as they deserve it.
