Amy is Amazing! I’ve been training with Amy for almost one year, 3X a week, and am very impressed with the results! I am a hardworking career woman but so lazy when it comes to making time for exercise and proper nutrition. I needed accountability. I had never worked with a personal trainer before, so was hesitant to say the least. It took a lot of courage for me to make that phone call last spring, but so glad I did! Amy makes working out fun! We laugh, dance during rest periods, stretch, weight train, cardio, and boxing. She has also helped me work out an easy to do nutrition plan. I have lost several inches in my hips, waist, butt, and chest. My energy throughout the day has soared, and I am also more relaxed. My hormone balance in my body has also been regulated! Mission accomplished! Amy has helped make exercise a part of my life.

I’ve been a marathon runner for 7 years and through that time have worked with a few different personal strength trainers, and Amy is the best of them. She takes into account that each of her clients have different goals and crafts a plan specifically to meet those goals. In fact, Amy has worked with my teenage sons to help build their functional strength for the sports they play. Even beyond the strength training, she’s helped my improve my nutrition. In the end, I am a better athlete when I’m working with Amy. Highly recommended.

Amy is one of a kind, genuine and made me comfortable from day one. She got started with a personalized plan and measurements and then we went to work. I could feel my body toning and getting stronger the first week we started, Amy has a great home gym and all the equipment needed to do a killer workout. I’ve been training with Amy for the past 2 years. In the initial 12 weeks of the 2x week exercise program, I lost 30 pounds! I’m from Germany, and love Nutella stacked heavy on white bread, but I found making changes in my diet to be quite simple with Amy’s help in meal planning. I haven’t gained any weight back since. I enjoy competing in swim meets throughout the year as a Master’s swimmer. The focus of my training with Amy is on flexibility, core strengthening, and swim specific exercises that improve my technique in the water, speed, and endurance. The proof is in my times. I’m quite happy with the results! Dropped several seconds in various distances in backstroke, IM, breaststroke, and freestyle events. I highly recommend Amy if you’re an athlete of any kind!

Amy has been training me 3 mornings a week since January 2015. Everything in my body has improved — my strength, my endurance, balance, tone, and she helped me develop some really nice abs!!! As a man with COPD(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), my life was challenging to say the least. Breathing was always difficult. At the end of 2012 I experienced an acute exacerbation of COPD. I needed to make some big changes, not only for myself but for my family. My doctor told me to get on an exercise routine as stronger muscles require less oxygen. I’m not a fan of working out in a big club or gym, and I needed someone for accountability. So I hired Amy as my personal trainer! She had extensive knowledge and experience with working with people with chronic diseases and illnesses. Twice a week for the past year and a half Amy has come to my home to train me with a workout plan. She changes up my exercise routine so I never get bored. She designs the workout to consist of dynamic, functional style movements to help me move better with greater flexibility and strength. I particularly enjoy the assisted stretching at the end of each workout. And since I’m on a regular schedule with her I have no excuses but to get it done every week. Amy makes the workouts fun, and is creative. My life has changed for the better since I met Amy. My flexibility and strength have improved dramatically. I can breathe and function better. Most importantly I’m playing better golf(pain free) and participate in hiking and other physical activities with my family. Thanks to Amy’s guidance and help, my limitations have decreased substantially.

I worked out with Amy in preparation for knee replacement surgery. She worked with me in specific areas to gain strength and stamina. So I have just received my fourth training appointment with Amy. I have has several personal trainers before and have been working out for a long time. I usually get a personal trainer every 2 years to help boost my work out and show me some new things. We started our first session going over nutrition and was surprised to actually a learn a few things(I’m not saying because I payed for the info!!) haha In the beginning we go for a real nice jog, and I can go farther and farther each time. We use a lot of bands and resistance training. Every time I see her I learn something new and she takes me to the next level. I love feeling that pain the next day where you know you are changing! She has completely changed my workouts for the better by altering them to fit my needs, goals, and keeping in mind my weak areas like my wrists and lower back. I want to do a triathlon in the summer and she is a competitive swimmer so I am very excited for this portion to start as well. I have lost body fat in this program and have gotten more toned, as well as inspired. I am now going to the gym 4 times a week on top of our once a week meetings! My gym friends notice a change, and so does my boyfriend! yay!
