Very good for kids under five and restroom also available. Cannot find shade anywhere.

I frequent various parks in Pleasanton to pass the time with my toddler. I’ve driven past Bernal Community Park several times but have never taken my toddler there. Well that all changed one day when we had to get out of the house and let my pregnant wife rest. It was a weird, humid, low overcast day with some sun. The playgrounds we’re pretty neat but didn’t seem to reflect the age ranges. The tanbark was not contaminated with trash and the bathrooms we’re close by and clean. My toddler loved it and wanted to continue running around but the sun had gotten the best of her. We would have stayed longer if there were more trees. I understand the park is newer but shade is essential. The baseball diamonds are really cool and beautifully maintained and I can’t wait to get my baby boy throwing a ball and swinging a bat! I give it an average rating, not great but definitely not the worst park around. I’m sure with time the small trees will become big just like my toddler. Thanks for reading.

We go to this park because of baseball. This place has baseball fields, park, bathrooms, and a lot of parking. They keep up the fields very nice. wish their was shade for when you watch your child play. The playground is fun. They bathrooms are very big but I would suggest bringing your own soap becausse every time I have got to the bathroom their is no soap.
