Byte Café is great! They have different, thoughtfully selected options every day. Is it cold out today? They might have something hearty and delicious to warm you up. Also this is one of the few safe havens of generally healthy food; you don’t have to order a salad to get a decent amount of vegetables. My only complaint would be that the salads could be a buck or two cheaper. But I suspect this is because they tend to contain some fancy expensive ingredients like a bunch of candied walnuts. This place is very much aimed at having regulars from the offices surrounding it, and I’d say they deserve it.

What a mess! The restaurant is set up in a cafeteria style with no room for lines, but they had 3−4stations that each had its own line with a line cutting through all the lines to pay. If you can navigate the food lines, you then have to figure out where to pay. Portions were small, I had the roast beef, should have been twice the size. My coworker ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, she had to wait forever, I was long finished eating before hers came out, nearly made us late for a meeting. Outside seating is right under the exhaust fan, hvac systems and what smells like the water processing system for the pond nearby. Outdoor seating is not a good place to eat food. The food was ok, but given everything I just said, I will not go back.

Quality food for reasonable prices! Their build your own burgers are quite good! They have a constantly varied menu and working in the stoneridge plaza this place never gets old!

I’m a huge Byte Café fan and eat here multiple times a week. The service is super fast(even when they’re very busy), they’ve got tons of variety, and the food tastes great and is good quality. The custom-order breakfasts are a little expensive for what you get, but that’s about the only complaint I can think of. Super convenient for work lunch or breakfast.

Usually a great place to grab lunch. They have a rotating menu that keeps things fresh. Some things are overpriced, but overall they do a great job. Try the cold brew coffee!

It’s a shame because I was looking forward to eating there more often. My first time and I told the young lady and she was extremely nice to me. the star is strictly for her and the food quality which was not bad. My issue was with their lack of knowledge and horrible customer service. First I asked if the salmon was wild. Never got an answer(no problem it’s fine farm raise or wild — not an issue at this point). Then I asked if i can have warm salmon instead of cold. Another woman — supposedly a bit more senior comes out like she is the ‘boss’ :). «No, the portions are different» ok fine. portions are different. I’ll pay more for warm. not a response and she has to huddle with a cashier and another employee to figure it out. by this time i’m thinking it’s a complicated salmon day here. I just asked for the cold portion, paid and left. Yes it’s silly for me to write a negative review about food. I’m not very picky and like to eat… and i normally don’t write negative reviews… but the senior staff there need to shape up and be nicer to people. it’s just food people. be kind and treat it with love…

This place is terrible. I’ve tried it twice. The first time was an over-priced pre-made salad that was just ok. The second time was a breakfast burrito with cheese(although I was told by an employee that it did not contain cheese), bacon, egg and spinach. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the worst breakfast burrito I have ever had(possibly the worst breakfast). Both the food and the salsa I tried to drown the burrito in after my first couple of bites had a very strange, somewhat plastic taste to them. I could not even eat half of this burrito, and I don’t like to waste money. It’s odd that a café would have so many fresh looking items out for appearances yet taste anything but fresh. Wall Street was a much better option; don’t waste your money.

Had the Mexican fajita special. It was ok, but cafeteria quality as expected, but was hoping for something more special at an $ 8 price. Too much cilantro in the guac, which I did not care for. Lack of spice and flavor.

They have a daily menu selection: tossed salads, grilled items, panini, pizza, and the entrée of the day. Their Shiitake Mushroom Salad is currently offered everyday of the week, but it’s good for a quick bite if you’re in the area or looking to grab on the go. Can’t wait for their Lemongrass Pork on Thursday :9

This place just opened and I was really excited to try it. Most of us in the Stoneridge Corporate Plaza are used to Specialty’s so this was a nice change. It just opened and it honestly is a bit confusing navigating in there but hopefully things get easier with time. Layout: There are two doors you can walk in through. One brings you to the beginning of all the food, the other brings you to the cash registers and can be confusing coming from that end so I suggest making your way to the other entrance and starting from there. Apparently there are different stations and separate lines for each station so you don’t need to form one huge line to order what you want. However, after you order, everyone forms one line to pay. That’s kind of why it’s confusing. I wish there were«Order Here» and«Pay Here» and«Pick Up Here» signs hanging from the ceilings or little signs that said«Form Line Here» in front of every station to make it more understandable. But I’m sure after a couple weeks, the majority of the customers will know how the system works. Dining: It has a good variety of foods and I like that they keep it interesting by having many different daily specials. If you go to their website, you can look at what they’ll be serving that week and plan ahead. There are 6 different categories and each category has a different special everyday. Also, I thought it was a nice touch that they added an area for sauces that you could help yourself to. Not even just ketchup or Sriracha, they have like herb aoili and chipotle mayo, pretty cool. Food: Today I got the Chorizo and Shrimp Quesadilla with Smokey Guacamole under their Grill category. I wasn’t expecting this but it also came with grilled onions and red peppers inside. Very different from my usual meat and cheese quesadillas. I thought that was a great way to make the quesadilla more flavorful. It also came with sides of guacamole and sour cream. Drink: Rewind back to when I was waiting for my food – those colored homemade drinks sitting near the registers just kept staring at me so halfway through my meal I decided to go back and get one. I tried the Honeydew one. I believe the other flavors they had were Fruit Punch, Peppermint Iced Tea, and Lemonade. The honeydew drink basically tasted exactly like honeydew and tasted very fresh. That’s pretty much all you can ask for. However, I only got it because I wanted to try something interesting and I probably wouldn’t get it again. It was nice to try once though. One thing to note: if you want the drink in a small, you have to ask for it. The ones near the register are larges! Being Green: Something my friend and I noticed was that they were a very green café. Compostable take out boxes, utensils… that’s normal right. But even down to what I thought was a plastic drink cup and paper straw. Both were compostable also. So great; pretty much everything goes into compost! I’ll definitely be back to try new things! Best of luck to this place. I’m sure it won’t have any trouble doing well! So far, so good.
