My favorite restaurant in the Stoneridge shopping center(Pleasanton). Great menu offering for lunch or a quick snack. Love their tomato basil soup, thick, tangy, and comes with a Parmesan garlic bread. They have a great offering of pizzas, pastas, salads, and sandwiches. Try their blackened salmon Caesar salad! There is both in door and outdoor seating, which is great on a sunny spring or summer day.

This is my first time eating here at Nordstrom Café. My boyfriend and I didn’t know what to eat around the mall, so we decided to stay within the premise. I had the penne bolognese while my boyfriend ordered the grilled pesto chicken sandwich. The pasta was good but as soon as I had a share of the grilled pesto, I wanted to trade with my boyfriend badly. I ended up liking his sandwich over my pasta and it was so filling! Plus, I didn’t like how my pasta came out room temperature… It wasn’t piping hot at all. Overall, the place is nice. When you sit down, it doesn’t feel like you’re at a café. Service was basic. If I’m feeling for a light meal, I’ll come here. I give this place a solid 3 stars.

Our party ordered two salads and a pizza. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were perfect. I really enjoyed the chef’s special salad.

What we had: Chicken strips Mac n cheese Asian Chicken Salad French Dip Turkey Cranberry Chicken strip batter was way to salty for kids, not cheesy enough for Mac, over priced salty French dip, and turkey cranberry was decent. Asian chicken salad size has been reduced, not what it used to be… Overall, food is lack luster for the price. Service was great, would had to give 5 stars if there was a separate category. Would’ve been better off with another food establishment in the mall.

My fav place to have lunch when I’m in the stone ridge mall. You can’t beat the price or the quality. Today I had the special of the day salad. It has arugula, spinach, pistachios, feta cheese, red onion & watermelon tossed with a light lime vineragrette. It is delish! I also had a cup of their soup of the day, white bean turkey chili. It was so yummy! Big pieces of tender turkey breast with a sprinkling of melted cheese on top. Of course it is served with a yummy crustini. I ate everything. You can’t go wrong with this place. Service is always very good. Great place to lunch when shopping.

Be wary when using your ATM card. I came here on Friday 7÷31÷15 for dinner and when the gal at the register ran my card she said it didn’t work. She said their computers sometimes had problems, so she had to «key in» the card information. When that didn’t work, she asked one of her co-workers who ran the card a third time and it worked. I was assured that the previous charges hadn’t gone through. But, because they ran my card 3 times my bank froze my account. AND there are several charges on my account!!! I’ve called the Nordstrom Café and was told that their Manager was not in and that I’d have to come and have a printout of my bank statement in order for them to process the refund for the unauthorized duplicate charges. My next phone call is to my bank to file a claim for this. Ridiculous customer service!

Too expensive for the portion size and quality. My pasta was supposed to have parmesan cheese on top, but it was left off. There was huge chunks of stewed tomatoes and barely any chicken. The kids Mac and cheese was super al dente. My daughter could barely chew it. There was barely anyone else dining(about 4 other tables were occupied), and our food took over 20 min to be served. I won’t be going there again.

Nice place to grab a bite and take a shopping break. Order and pay at the front, find a table and wait for a server to take care of you until you leave. Menu is basic with salads, sandwiches and a few pasta dishes. It’s nothing fancy but it’s good. I tried the chicken Santa Fe sandwich with a side salad($ 11) It was a decent size and fresh. It gets very busy from 11:30−2PM. Plan accordingly.

I was here today having Lunch with a women that I used to drive. We had a great visit. This was my first time eating at this Nordy’s café. The women I was with had ordered a chicken sandwich, and since it’s so hot today I ordered a nice, cool pasta salad. The women taking our order at the register asked if I wanted chips or a salad with the salad, I had mentioned chips. So, we sit down and the server’s bring our food, the women I’m with has a sandwich and chips. I get my pasta salad like I ordered, but no chips? I didn’t complain, I just was under the impression that’s the option since the gal at the counter told me so. When I mentioned that to the gal bringing out the food, she took care of that right away. Excellent customer service! Really pretty good food to. Be aware that the restrooms are at Nordy’s, not the café.

Love coming here on Fridays after I have taken the Bart to and from San Francisco in the morning and have a moment to sit and recharge before heading off to work to the neighboring city. The servers are friendly, quick, and efficient. The food is consistently delicious. And, like how Nordstroms is with their clothing and shoes, etc., everything is of high quality. I appreciate the menu with the total calories for the calorie counters. But this place isn’t a daily treat. ;)

I really enjoy the food here and the service is always pretty good. I wish they would change the menu seasonally at least, but I do enjoy their daily specials. It is a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for and the food is fresh and good quality. They have the best iced tea and limoncello cake that is so delicious!

So far I’ve gotten the California Grill sandwich with a side salad and their sesame dressing and the Mushroom Pasta and both were good. I would order either of those again. The line can get long during lunch but I haven’t had a problem getting a table yet. Service is good; everyone who works there is really nice. A little pricey than I would like to spend on lunch, especially when there’s not enough to bring leftovers home but it’s close to work and convenient.

Love the ample seating at this Nordstrom café! In my opinion their tomato soup is on the saltier side compared to other Nordstrom café tomato soups I’ve hand. Been here twice since I’ve moved up north. I’m obsessed with their country club with maple bacon, amazing!!! Their chicken pesto was mediocre in my opinion. Also, love love love the mushroom ravioli! Great service and free wifi as well!

Love their Tuscan veggies! Little chocolate treats were very touching. It gave us an idea where to leave tips. But what if I don’t have cash? I wonder…

The food at Nordstom Café is delicious! Five stars for the food. Why two stars? The service is horrible. The staff is polite but unlike any other restaurant staff has a tendency to have a lack of urgency. I only have dined for lunch. Last week I arrived to find the line outrageously long and after waiting more than five minutes to order without moving, I left. There were many empty tables but only one person working one register at the rush hour of lunch. Today I came to dine again and was slightly less discouraged when the line moved in the first 5 minutes. I waited over 20 minutes in line! And once again there were several empty tables inside the restaurant the entire time I was in line and dining. My two cents: this place is horribly mismanaged! Waiting over 20 minutes to order is simply ridiculous. I worked the restaurant business and the lunch hour for over 5 years. This place is not reaching their full revenue, empty tables means less money! My advice: have all three registers open and running during rush hour. Offer online ordering for Togo and dine-in orders. This feature would be really nice for people who work in the area. They could place orders then show up and sit down to eat.

This was a great choice from my girlfriend! I didn’t know Nordstrom Café would be so good! The soup and sandwich we got were delicious! We shared the chicken sandwich and it was quite filling. =)

This Nordstrom Café is different than others. Given the smaller space, you order at the register, and the food is then brought to your table. The menu is also limited due to their smaller kitchen(I assume), but the food and service are still on point. I ordered the pepperoni and wild mushroom pizza which was delicious. Fluffy crust but not overly doughy. My girlfriend ordered the bleu cheese salad. I don’t specifically recall what it was called, but it had dried cherries, pecans, and bleu cheese which all matched nicely together. The best part was the chocolate chip cookie though. Large cookie with sizeable pieces of chocolate. Crisp edges but still soft on the inside. It was heaven. So despite the style being a little different at this Nord Café, the quality of food and the impeccable service still make this place worth it! And who doesn’t need a break for a bite in the midst of an intense shopping excursion. The least you could do is treat yourself to a big cookie. You earned it!

Impressed! Rockin’ service and SOOOO kid friendly(crayons, coloring menus, etc.). They’re super busy during lunch with a long line out the door, but that doesn’t interfere with how wonderful the servers are; they’re so accommodating and friendly. We needed to add 2 dishes to our order after we paid and were seated and our server happily did that for us with a smile — so nice! I did the salmon niçoise salad that was delicious. It was fresh and delicious, perfectly portioned and perfectly seasoned — especially the herb crusted salmon. Capers, olives, greens, onions, roasted potatoes, and string beans all tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette was happiness in bowl. Husband did the chinese chicken salad, but he inhaled it before I got any pictures or questions in. He’s not very descriptive and said it was«good.» Kids did chicken fingers/fresh fruit and simple chicken sandwich/fresh fruit. Both were fresh and tasty enough. Of all the years we’ve shopped @ Nord’s, I’m annoyed that I’ve JUST now discovered Nord’s Café.
