I met with Dr. Dunlap today as referred by my dentist for a root canal. After a thorough evaluation, he advised me that despite doing a root canal and crown, I may still have the possibility of needing the tooth extracted in the very near future. All this due to seeing that my tooth had many fractures in it, and was not salvageable. I really appreciated his candor, and not doing a procedure on me that would otherwise have been unnecessary and futile. He then referred me to an oral surgeon for the dental extraction.
I would highly recommend Dr. Dunlap for his honesty and professionalism!

Pleasanton, CA
Dr. Dunlap has done two root canals on me. I was very impressed with his technology and technique. I highly recommend him. The only thing that pisses me off is that my referring dentist insisted that I come back to him to have the final filling. Dr. Dunlap is more than qualified to do that part of the procedure.
