I was so pleased with the dentist and staff. I have very very high anxiety of the dentist and haven’t been in soooo many years. I am currently 40 weeks pregnant and ended up shattering a tooth in my sleep 2 days before my due date. I needed to get a root canal and have never had one done.
There was just no avoiding the work that needed to be done and the dentist took one look at the tooth and said «the root canal has to be done today. It would be worse if you waited until after you delivered…» I was so terrified and nervous that my anxiety would put me into labor. But the assistant and dentist prepared me for every step of the way. Explaining to me every move they were making and assured me it wouldn’t hurt (even with lesser anesthesia that they were able to give me for being pregnant).
During the whole process I felt like a 3 out of 10 with anxiety which is considerably less than being at a 10 out of 10 when I first arrived. I can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done for me and helping me take the first step to accepting that the dentist is here to help and ease your pain and not make it worse. Thank you! Thank you!
