Good service despite the Hispanic accents being somewhat difficult to understand. The food was fantastic but gave me the runs for the next 3 hours. Make sure you know what your getting into when you eat here. Really good food though.

It was after me and my best friend’s shift(10:15pm), and we were starving. After miraculously finding Fiesta Taco on Unilocal,we sped there and decided to grab some food. The interior of this place is so homey and cozy. There are long wooden tables that encourage conversation and sharing, and a couple of two-seaters for privacy. The best of both worlds :) They also have a couple of arcade games for kids and adults alike! In another sense, since it was 10:30pm, a good amount of the food was already out, such as some of the meats. We ordered the Super Nachos with pastor(bbq pork) to-go. They have a salsa and chip bar for orders that are for-here, but if you’re ordering to-go, they will add a bag of chips for you! The nachos were really good, and the portion was big too – filling for the two of us! There was just enough of everything, and although the cheese hardened up a bit towards the end, everything still tasted great. And for $ 8.75, the portions and the quality make it such an amazing deal. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is near Pleasanton that is looking for somewhere affordable and quick to eat. The only reason for the four stars is because they only accept cash, which is definitely an issue especially in today’s advancements for consumers. But overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Fiesta Taco. :)

Cash only! This place is great and family friendly. The owner is fantastic and the place is extremely clean. As for the food, pastor is delicious and I highly recommend their super nachos. Burritos and tacos you just can’t go wrong! The taco special offers a bit of everything.

I came here with a bunch of my co workers today for lunch. First off, this place is cash only, which is very inconvenient. My friend and I both ordered vegetarian burritos and there were barely any rice inside. It was mostly sour cream. My other co workers ordered a taco salad, and another ordered a pastor burrito. They both were upset that it lacked flavor and there were barely any meat in it. On the bright side, this place is great for large groups. Also there are free chips, and salsa on the side for you.

My only complaints: the tv is always cranked up very loud, and it is CASHONLY. Other than that, great place! Maybe best taqueria in Pleasanton.

Sadly, I leave NO stars and I LOVEMEXICANFOOD!!!( Unilocal won’t let me post if I don’t at least give one star) I am here eating chicken fajitas, and regretfully, these are the worst fajitas I have ever eaten. The service is so marginal. They are lifeless here, like they are sleep walking. In any event, I hate to leave a bad review. But, if I would have read a review like this one, I would have been saved a terrible dinner on a Friday night. One good thing though. Their green salsa is very good. However, not enough to get me back.

Tasty tacos and burrito … I usually go with a chicken super taco or beef burrito. Good chips and salsa on the side. This place is old and hidden in a shopping plaza but offers tasty Mexican food. It is very busy during the lunch hour, so you can expect a longer wait time(not too bad though). Just a note for those who can eat late at night and are looking for a spot to get a hot meal late, this place is open until 11PM or so.

Good Mexican food at a good price. The current special of a soft taco and enchilada with a drink, rice and beans and unlimited chips & salsa is a great value at $ 8.75. Friendly service, too.

My first impression of Fiesta Taco walking in was that I was very pleased with the ambiance of the restaurant; the oldies music playing outside the small joint leading up to a well-lit, wood-styled room filled with benches and arcade games. However, to my dismay, they did NOT accept card. They house an ATM in the corner for customers who are not carrying cash, a drawback I found unnecessary and tedious. After finally getting to the ordering process, I decided on three soft tacos. The tacos were very flavorful and tasted great, though I must say they were not as warm as I would expect from a top tier taco place, or even comparably to some of the taco places in the same area. I had high expectations coming in that were not met.

Came here after two of my coworkers(siblings) said this was the best place for tacos around. Wasn’t blown away. They weren’t bad, just lacked that wow factor. The meat was decently seasoned, just a tad too salty. Their rice tasted like butter rice, and the salsa on the tacos was bland. Guacamole very salty and lemony, but their pico de gallo was pretty good though! :) would come here again if I was right here, but not somewhere I would go out of the way for, and I’m really disappointed after how much people talked it up. :(

even thou the place has great reviews, my(one lunch) experience with their food was very bad. The lady at the register was nice and attentive. Burrito had old mooshrooms, rubbery onions, old hard chicken, entire garlic cloves inside, flavor was bad and presentarion aweful. NOT likely to come back! :( …and no, i dont have problems with mytastebuds: D(as someone wrote to me), i appreciate clean well cooked mexican food, my experience with what i ate here was pretty bad.

I’ve been coming here since I was in high school. VERYGOOD. Great Mexican food — great salsa — great burritos. They serve beer and they have an arcade game section as well.

Today was a great day at Fiesta Taco! I’ve had a lot of Mexican food from all over the map and this place is one of my favorites! Thank goodness it is so close to my work. Before I come here, I normally will call them first and tell them what I want so by the time I get there, the food is ready for me. I also let them know to please make it TOGO because I almost always never finish my food. The two dishes I will usually get here are: 1. Pollo Plate(chicken dish) 2. Chili Verde(pork dish) Both dishes are excellent and flavorful! I try not to eat pork but man oh man, is it hard to resist the chili verde here because the pork is just so tender and juicy. The plates come with refried beans, Spanish rice, fresh salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Oh, and they give you your choice of flour or corn tortillas. I would also recommend trying their green salsa at the salsa bar(which I believe is cilantro based). It has a beautiful kick and compliments the dishes wonderfully!

My sister and brother in law bring their kids here on occasion. It’s family friendly because they have some arcade games and things to do(even little toy machines). If you are dining in, they have a chips and salsa bar! I ordered a new item on their menu, Chile Rellano, which isn’t new to me. It was advertised as homemade so how could I pass it up? Well it wasn’t as great as places in So Cal and the plate cost more than I wanted to pay… I’m secretly jealous of my nephew’s choice, classic tacos! The place gets busy on the weekends because everyone brings their families. Unilocal 100 Challenge — 82 of 100

A place that claims to the«the best Mexican food in town». If that is the case, I feel bad for Pleasanton. To be fair, I’m spoiled with the Bay Area’s wealth of Mexican food, but still, Fiesta Taco was disappointing. I tried 3 of their tacos, and was pretty underwhelmed: — LENGUA — CABEZA — ALPASTOR All were flavorless and bland. The salsa bar helped, the stack of chips with multiple signs warning ‘DONOTTOUCH’(unless you ordered a complete meal) did not. Pass.

We ate here recently with our friends«N» and«B.» It is located in a strip mall but the Unilocal photos helped us locate it. There are a few tables for two and many community tables that can seat 4−12+. The tables are solid lacquered wood which are sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. What enticed me into eating here was the«unlimited chips and salsa» It’s true. You can eat your little hearts out with their freshly made chips and salsas — pico de gallo, green tomatillo and red hot salsa. You order at the counter. The current prices aren’t listed – they must be in the middle of changing them. It is CASH only – there are several signs that let you know this. There is an ATM inside the restaurant. You can choose from nachos, burritos, tacos, quesadillas and other choices. I had the tostada salad which came in an oversized fried tortilla bowl filled with cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, avocado, beams and chicken. There was way too much chicken. I only ate 5 or 6 of the sliced chicken — there was easily another 40 – 50 chunks left. I didn’t take the leftovers since it was a hot day and we had a long drive. I opted to not have the sour cream. Mr Rinky had the veggie burrito which he thought was okay. «N» had the quesadilla was very small — ie a small size flour tortilla. She said she wasn’t very hungry but I did share my «salad» with her. Plus she got some bites of her son«B’s» beef(?) burrito. We went there at lunch hour so it was pretty busy — lots of happy regulars flocking in. You serve yourself water and ice. There are fountain sodas along with iced tea, Mexican sodas, beer and several other choices. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were clean. Not sure if we’ll return since we don’t come to Pleasanton very often. So FIVE stars for the friendly staff FIVE stars for the all-you-can eat chips and salsa FOUR stars for the ambiance – clean and comfy and welcoming THREE and a half stars for the food FOUR stars average i

Fiesta Taco wasn’t a destination, just a drive by. sadly, it will forever be a drive bye. standard mex. menu on the overhead with no pricing. noticed it later of the flyer on the counter. eats: lengua burrito(6.75) –regular sizes, lot of rice and beans within, only a few pieces of tener tasteless lenguq –spicy salsa, tomato bits also present. not memorable –commercial chips ok, salsa from salsa bar was hot! literally. frijoles refritos: –so so value, friendly guick service –no repeat… fresh but not great food. –lots of bench seating inside, many flatscreens.

Decided that I wanted some tacos for dinner one night and Fiesta Taco was the only place that was open near by. The staff were all very mellow. It looked sort of old school inside. I had ordered the steak tacos and it’s pretty dry. It’s good but I’m just so used to the trucks oily tacos but this place do taste a bit healthier, which is always good haha. My bf had ordered the burrito, it was actually pretty good. And I’m normally a taco person, not a burrito person. Mmm !
