I just had an unforgettable experience with Emily and her crew at fabulous Floret. Two weekends in a row, I went through the tunnel to get beautiful and unique orchid arrangements for four very special gifts. Last Saturday, I returned home to discover that one arrangement suffered from a structural miscalculation. I called Floret and was treated so very nicely. Not only were they sorry for my inconvenience, but I was reassured that they would do anything I needed to correct the problem. Their solution: Emily came to my home with another orchid I had admired; took away the wayward arrangement after refunding me its full amount; and then gave me the new arrangement, free of charge, to make up for my «trouble».
I fell in love with this little shop when I first entered. It is one of those magical places where you can look around once, then twice and you will keep finding charming and imaginative surprises tucked here and there. Yet, it is their incredible level of service which is the true beauty of Floret. It is so rare today to find such careful, generous and gracious attention to the details that matter. I will forever be a devoted customer to Floret and I am telling everyone about this hidden treasure.

I went to them, at the last minute to get an arrangement for my Friends birthday. Amy was so accommodating. She asked me what kind of arrangement I was imagining and even though I couldn’t describe my vision, she absolutely nailed it. The arrangement was artistic, beautiful and looked more expensive than what I paid for.
I’m so happy that I found them. I had a very bad experience with the other florist in the area.
I will go back to them for sure.

We just eloped to San Francisco City Hall from Southern California and selected Floret to create my bridal bouquet based on the Unilocal reviews. Let me just say that I have never seen a bridal bouquet more beautiful than the one Floret created for me. I sent a few inspiration photos via email and when I picked the bouquet up it was far more beautiful than the photos I had sent and better than I could’ve imagined. I received many compliments on my bouquet throughout the day and our photographer said it was one of the most beautiful floral compositions he had ever photographed.
This morning, my bouquet is still stunning despite having been out of water most of the day yesterday, clearly a testament to the freshness of the flowers they use and their workmanship. Do not hesitate to use this wonderful floral treasure in Lafayette!

Very very cute floral shop!!! I took the floral class last night with my girlfriends… we enjoyed it sooooo much. The instructor was kind and sweet and worked patiently with us. We each made bouquets that are gorgeous! I got some great ideas for some flowers for my upcoming wedding! Make sure you check out the beautiful cards, candles and cute items they have in the shop.

Honestly, if you want to support a local business for cut flowers, this is a good place. The staff is nice, the owner buys a lot of supplies for the business in town, it is a hidden away, they are not as expensive as ORCHARD nursery in Lafayette, which has a florist. they deliver too!

Needed flowers. Got just two exactly how I wanted but 10x better. Store was small but beautiful. And it packed a punch. Would totally go there again when ever I’m in the neighborhood.

So thankful for this sweet flower shop in downtown Lafayette. Everything from the selection to the service is outstanding!

Floret is one of Lafayette’s best kept secrets. Seriously, I grew up in this city and didn’t even know it existed till recently when I went on a hipster kick and wanted to make a Pinterest style terrarium and poured over Unilocal for places in the East Bay to buy air plants (Tillandsia). I know they’re mainly known for being a florist shop, but I think it’s worth saying that I walked in timidly with my glass bulb from Home Goods, asked for help finding an appropriate plant to put in it, and left happy and inspired, with an air plant even prettier than in my Pinterest fueled dreams. The very helpful ladies that run the place have more creativity and customer service in their green thumbs than I ever will in my life.
Prices are incredibly reasonable considering the neighborhood it’s in. Will post a picture of my prized air plant, but it ran at $ 7.99, and for the size of it I would have easily ended up paying twice as much at any of the larger plant nurseries in Berkeley/​Oakland. It’s a small shop so they don’t have mass quantity, but I was nonetheless impressed with the selection — they had a good amount of varieties, sizes, mounted, and unmounted — all meticulously cared for.
Beautiful succulents and floral arrangements as well, must remember to go back.

I love this shop! The outside is lined with wooden boxes and pots of succulents. The inside is really charming with many live floral arrangements (including toadstool and bird decorations), candles, and cut flowers for bouquets. There’s a really cute assortment of air plants in glass vases against the back wall. My husband and I got a box full of succulents and the florist really put the finishing touch on it by adding black and white rocks. She put it in a cardboard box with tissue paper and told us how to care for them properly. I couldn’t have asked for more!

Beautiful and unique arrangements. No cookie cutter designs here. I just picked up a great Mother’s Day arrangement. It was so nice I got a succulent arrangement as well. It was worth the 20 minute drive to get here.

Be sure to follow directions, and prove all your elementary school teachers wrong:
Stop at Paxti’s on Mount Diablo Blvd. Get a Blue Bottle Coffee or just say hello to those good peeps. Next exit left from Paxti’s walking down the breezeway (away from Mt. Diablo Blvd.) toward the back lot. On your right will be a magical doorway to floral heaven.
Enter, stop and breathe deeply. Smells good, right?
Keep your eyes open to notice the artistry of each arrangement. Check out the cool jewelry, the succulents, the unique variety of color and texture in each plant and flower. Now get a bouquet for someone you love or someone who did something nice. If you’re really feeling good, practice an act of random kindness and hand some gorgeous flowers to a stranger.
I have called to order with minor directions and gotten a more interesting design than I imagined each time.

We just received BEAUTIFUL flowers today from the talented Floret designers. The flowers are arranged beautifully and smell amazing! I can honestly say that hands down it is the most beautiful arrangement we’ve seen so far! I can’t say thank you enough to the team of florists who put this together. We can’t wait to give your name to our significant others for future deliveries :) Thanks again for putting a smile on all of our faces!

Called them for an emergency bouquet. She made a gorgeous arrangement in 10 minutes at a fantastic price. My client was thrilled with the arrangement and I am happy to know that I now have a go-​to florist in lafayette.

Awesome flower shop. Michael is pro and walking into the store makes you feel like you’re in Europe. Great quality & arrangements. Store is a bit off the beaten track, past Patxi’s Pizza entrance from Mt Diablo in the back of Clocktower Bldg., but definitely worth seeking out.

This is the best florist. I stumbled upon this treasure and fell in love. They have beautiful flowers and are super nice. Michael is always really easy to work with and is able to create exactly what I am looking for.

Finally a great floral shop in Lafayette!
The selection is great and it smells phenomenal in the store. Walked in yesterday during my lunch and Michael and Vicky helped me. I had picked a couple roses and Vicky quickly made a beautiful arrangement.
