The quality of the chocolate will always be top notch. It melts in your mouth the moment you bite into it. The quality that did down grade is the quality of customer service. I came in there, knowing that I wanted and will purchase chocolate covered strawberries. But I was looking around the truffles to see if I wanted anything. I asked the associates working at the register how much they were and they talked back to me as if I was unable to afford a pound of truffles. The moment I felt that, I knew that I should just buy what I came in there for and leave. I asked them for two strawberries and told me that it would be $ 14 in total and didn’t bag it yet, as if I was going to back out of it. So I sassed them back because I came in there for those. They all of a sudden changed their tone of voice and nicely told me «thank you.» I signed my receipt and told them to throw my customer copy and walked away without saying thank you, like I always do. I’ve never been so insulted in my life. I’m the type of person that purchase food without any concern for price, as long as the quality and taste is top notch. Next time, hire associate capable of greeting customers w/a warm welcome and actually do their jobs that they were hired to do because what in the hell are they doing at a minimum wage job that requires a person to be a decent human being to customers if they can’t even handle a simple thing like that. I know how it’s supposed to be, I’ve worked at a minimum wage job. Get your life together Godiva. Be a little bit kinder to your customer and maybe, life wouldn’t treat you with such a shitty ass job like a minimum wage job in Godiva. Lmao. Go to hell.

Knowledgeable and patient staff. Quick lines, Samples and no high pressure selling tactic. The presentation of the goodies were done neatly. Excellent soft ice cream. Great central location!
