Nails by Robin

I have been going to Robin for several years, and I have to admit I am now completely spoiled!
My hands and feet are pampered by the best! She is always focused on you, and I can not imagine life without her!!!

Robin has such a good, competitive price and in my opinion does a better job than other places with similar prices. Robin’s very friendly and good at what she does. My nails looked and stayed looking great!

I found Robin on Unilocal and it was close to my job (walking distance!). We were having a little engagement party a couple weekends ago so I wanted to have fancy nails in case anyone asked to see the ring (they did).
I booked an appointment a day or two in advance for a manicure. Robin was very nice and friendly, and she thought of things that most manicurists don’t. She had me pay in advance so I wouldn’t have to mess up my nails rummaging through my purse. She also suggested I take out my car keys before the manicure (but I had walked). When she was done, she even put my purse on my shoulder for me so I didn’t risk bumping my nails. Very personal service.
As for the nails, I wanted a red color to match the shoes I was going to be wearing, and she suggested a new true red color by OPI that looked even better on than it did in the bottle. The polish lasted just a day or two short of a week, much longer than if I did my own nails. I didn’t baby them TOO much either … still did dishes and the like.
I think she is the only manicurist for the hair salon, but she has the best seat in the house! Right next to a big picture window looking out on Main Street. Made for good people watching while my nails dried.
I believe it was $ 20 plus tip. I would go back again, though now that I left my job, it would be more out of the way for me to return.

Robin is absolutely the best manicurist I’ve been to! She’s totally fun and absolutely professional (keeps all her appointments, doesn’t talk on the phone the whole time she’s working on you). Her location is great too, in the Calipso’s Salon right across from the Blue Agave club — with excellent people watching through her window. I agree with Katherine… her prices cannot be beaten either :)
