The 2 ½ stars here is well-deserved. Not to say that the food is of lesser quality… It’s very consistent with other Panda Express. A bit disappointing that they didn’t have real Panda meat… Seems Ike false advertising(should’ve seen the woman’s face when I asked). Personalized«Panda» branded napkins were a hit with our group. Food came out surprisingly fast-which is good for business, since it doesn’t let you rethink walking in the door.

We eat at multiple Panda Express locations a lot, even on way to Reno, this has got to be the worst one in terms of cleaniness, portion and ambience. As noted by others, the place is always dirty, it’s the norm that the tables would be dirty, and today I even saw clump of mud on the floor which has got to be a safety issue. Portion — definitely not up to par with other locations. I once had a server carefully scoop up one piece of orange chicken at a time! Today I asked for brown rice and the server told me they are not offering it today(not that it’s not ready yet), but just 10 min later I noticed that they served a young guy with a plateful of brown rice. So is it only reserved for special customer or something??? The most concerning thing is that I noticed the server put back Kung Pao Chicken into the serving tray from a plate that she was serving to a customer. I suppose there was a misunderstanding and the customer didn’t want it anymore, but I believe it is against Health Dept regulation to put the food back into the serving tray after it has been scooped out. All other food business would either simply offer it to the customer anyway, or throw out the food as it is not considered clean to serve to others. I certainly would not want to be the next customer to eat it! The server seems like a nice young girl so she must not have been trained properly on proper health dept regulation and food hygiene. So this brings to the question of management of this location. It is a shame as all other locations seem ok. I hope they do improve as this location is convenient for me.

Food is good but the tables are always dirty. Seems like the manager checks out after the lunch rush. Trash overflowing and stuff on the tables. The staff is light but that’s no excuse for no accountability. That’s a management issue.

What I like most about Panda is being able to get a bowl of brown rice and the entrée on top. Don’t go for the 2-item or 3-item plate. The bowl is enough food! The best entrée is the teriyaki grilled chicken. You get lots of it and it is delicious and juicy. The String Bean Chicken is also a favorite.

Normally I like the food, but the Teriyaki chicken has had bones the last 2 times. So I can’t risk getting it anymore. one bone was 1″ long. I even took a picture of it and showed it to them, they just laughed. Found bone chips in the one in Vallejo too. Very unappetizing. I will just stick to chow mein, rice, orange chicken and string bean chicken.

We go to this restaurant more then we need to but its close and convenient. The portion sizes are okay but after reading the comments I do have to agree they short change you on the honey walnut shrimp! Another thing I do not like is the amount of cabbage they add to the noodles. They might as well not add the noodles and make it a cabbage dish! Please add more noodles that is what I am ordering!

Hey, it’s fast food, but I expect to be treated decently. The food tastes good enough(Panda is consistent across restaurants), but the staff is borderline rude and serve up smaller than other Panda’s portions. Teach staff to smile and have some awareness of providing positive customer service.

This is Panda Express, same as getting a burger in McDonalds, or Taco Bell, fast Chinese food

I don’t know why, but it looks like management here is setting strict portion control. I ordered the shrimp and rice and watched as my server fearful dished out half as much rice as normal and topped it with 5 shrimp. For 8 dollars to suddenly be given half a bowl where they normally fill it, I feel angry and ripped off and will avoid eating here. Felt obligated to pay, and then threw it in the trash to go get a full sized meal a few shops down at the pizza Kebab place.

1 star because I have to. Poor service, tiny portions. Ordered my daughter the kids meal and got her the honey walnut shrimp. Extra cost, fine. But if I’m paying more, can she get more than 4 shrimps ??? Definitely won’t be returning and will think twice when I consider other locations. Cheaper to order a lunch special at an actual Chinese restaurant.

Orange chicken and Beijing beef w/half and half is my favorite! I also like the locations that have a Jamba Juice next door or nearby bcuz I like Jambas smoothies with my panda meal lol

Portions suck. We stopped going to Panda Express for about 2 years because of their portions. Recently, we decided to give them another try but were reminded why we stopped going there in the first place. You get one poorly scooped serving of what you want. It’s ridiculous.

I was there few weeks ago to pick up some food and I had to wait for 20 additional minutes as they were running out of a particular dish. The lady on the counter requested me to call them up before getting there next time. So, I called them up earlier this evening, they accepted my order over the phone and agreed to keep it ready in 15 minutes. When I got there after 30 minutes, they were still running out of it. I had to wait for another 10 minutes to pick it up. It seems, they clearly remembered my order over the phone, but they somehow decided to ignore it until I get there. When I asked about it, I was told to order it online next time such that it gets paid wile ordering. I wish they had told me that over phone. Extremely crowded place. So, they really don’t care.

Can’t go wrong with Panda. It has saved us a number of times for last minute dinner options. Everyone else must think the same since the line can be almost out the door during dinner. For kids, you can’t go wrong with their noodles and orange chicken. My daughter loves it. Conveniently located off Santa Rita in Pleasanton. Lots of parking. Great selection. Fairly clean. Portions are decent. Sometimes they give a little more depends on the employee. My faves… Honey Walnut Chicken, Angus Beef and their signature chow mein.

Poor quantity for the money almost 10 $for 3 entrees and still sucks. Slow employees The only time they on a hurry is to charge it to your card.

As good as fast food Chinese can be I suppose. Fave is the string bean chicken(170 calories) but it seems it is a favorite of a lot of people because a lot of times I have to wait for them to cook some up. The employees are either robots or comatose and have no smiles or personality. No rudeness but not friendly. I guess I wouldn’t be too happy working in a fast food Chinese restaurant and smelling the same food day in and day out. ;^)

Adriana and another female employee, her name started with K, Kristina I think… Worst customer service I’ve received in a long time. The only one who was polite was Anna. Kristina and Adriana rolled they’re eyes and sucked they’re teeth multiple obvious times. Making everyone uncomfortable. Sad because this is the closest panda to me.

I love Panda Express, but this place is kind of busy and they should make a better plan to serve people faster. However, their food tastes fresh and I would rather buy from here than the Taco Bell next door.

Weak. Employee seemed comatose and was very unpleasant to interact with. I can understand if it’s been a long day but at least smile back at me and be a little friendly After mumbling to her manager about the dish I wanted they huddled for a moment and told me it’d be a 10 minute wait. I ordered something else and left feeling very annoyed at their overall quality of customer service. Food was fine I guess.
