Very rude staff and they don’t give the discount that other Payless stores give– I’ve stopped going there and prefer going to the stoneridge branch.

I bought shoes today and the cashier lady doesn’t know how to talked to the customer like. I asked her, «do you have buy one get ½ prize»? She answered«NO». So I asked«Why»? She answered me «Why are asking me?» I almost answered her«you should know the answer you work with this retailer«PAYLESS». It’s not worth arguing her. You should not hire her but if you want that lady to work in this store, the owner should advice her.

I’m sucha junky for cheap stuff. And I try not to buy leather, so I love that almost all the shoes here are man-made materials. I guess the quality might not be top notch, but seriously, today I got two pairs of shoes, one pair for $ 14.99 and one pair for $ 8. EIGHTDOLLARS. It’s tough to beat that with a name brand. Actually, the 8-buck shoes weren’t even a generic Payless brand, they were Airwalks(kinda late ‘90s, I know, but these were sweet). They also carry American Eagle shoes. I’ve found that the store workers(probably also the owners?) are generally nice and helpful in the stores too(Livermore store as well). I prefer to be left alone when shopping, but I’ve seen them happily help other customers look for different sizes, etc. Don’t be a snob. Shop here. Just leave me some size 8.5 shoes. Actually, one more thing … I’ve noticed some of the sizes run a bit big here, sometimes I check out the size 8 shoes too. They also carry a lot of wide width shoes if you need that sorta thing.
