Renee Murray has been my stylist for about 10 years. I have followed her from a couple of salons that she previously worked for. She gives great hair cuts and coloring! After years of sporting the same hairdo, I went to Shear Texture to see if Amy could give me some ideas. We experimented until she came up with the perfect style and color. Thanks so much Amy! I just had Amy do my hair for my wedding reception. WOW! I wanted a complicated style, and after telling her exactly what I was picturing (I couldn’t find pictures anywhere that were even close to what I wanted) she went out and bought a couple of «tools» (as in a piece to keep my poof high and straight and that pins could go right into) just for me! I took them with me to the Caribbean where I got married, and let me tell you it saved the day! The humidity alone would have flattened my hair, not to mention the constant sweat — a serious up-do’s nightmare!
We used the same «tool» to do my hair here for my reception. I went to her salon early on a Saturday morning, and when we didn’t have time to finish she said she would come to my venue 30 min early to do all the finishing touches. She arrived promptly and finished my hair while my friends fussed with my dress and I got my makeup touched up. My hair came out beautifully!!! Thanks Amy for being a big part of my special day!

I went to Amy for the first time today. I went for blond highlights and ended up getting a haircut also. Amy seemed very knowledgeable and had loads of ideas for my hair. It came out looking great and feeling so much more soft and healthy. Amy is also very nice and so easy to talk to. The salon is neat, clean, and cozy. I look forward to future visits.

Today I had an apportionment to get my extensions reinstalled, my last experience with a different stylist was… Well unpleasant to say the least, so I was a bit sketch about get them done again. (The thing is, extensions are one of those amazing luxuries that once you have in, no matter how bad the experience, life without them seems a little strange.)
Well I got in a bit early and found myself in a cozy adorable salon. Amy introduced herself to me and we got to work with no problem.
She’s seriously the sweetest, made conversation, and I even learned some fancy tips about hair that she was taught. (Oh, and met the guy who makes all the products she sells, that was cute.)
The entire process was done so quick, surprising because my last experience took practically the whole day!
My hair turned out awesome, healthy, no tracks showing. Basically all the fine details that come with extensions were covered. Best part, price was unbeatable. (Did I mention she’s recovering from surgery, what an awesome person. Sorry for sharing your info, Amy. Lol)
I am so thankful to have found this place, seriously. Thank you, Amy! You will be seeing me next time!

It was my first time getting hair extensions at a new to me salon and stylist. I was pretty nervous but Amy made me feel comfortable. Amy is very friendly, helpful, and professional. She even offered me some water and tea. And her hair salon is cute and cozy .

I just got my hair done today and it looks absolutely amazing! I’ve been getting my hair highlighted for over 10 years now and in comparison to the 3 other salons and stylists I’ve used, I’ve never felt rushed, every one is extremely down to earth, pricing is great and my highlights have never come out so amazingly consistent after each visit. The experience here has been no less than superb! I’ve recommended this place to all of my friends! I would highly recommend trying it!!!
