This place is amazingly affordable and so delicious. We will be back. Very fast service, and the Gyro is so delicious.

It’s kind of in a random spot but it’s worth going to find it. They have great food, my favorite being the Chicken Spinach Feta in a pita. It’s exponentially better and less expensive than those chain restaurant pita places. Also great, their Tzatziki and Fistey Feta dipping sauces.

Don’t trust the good Unilocal reviews. Someone mentioned they have lunch specials and I decided to give this place a try. There are no lunch specials and the lady at the counter was very rude. The wrap had friend green peppers and white onions with tomato and the sauce was awful. There was also a lot of grease on the pita. It was a sad disappointment to not satisfy my Greek craving.

This is one of the best Greek places I have ever ate at. My whole family enjoyed their dinner tonight.

When me and my wife first moved to the area, this was one of the first places we tried. We really liked it, and we didn’t even realize how much we would come back here. We have tried many other restaurants in the area and we even tried a well know Mediterranean place in Carmel. We both agreed that this place is significantly better than any other place we have tried. This place is now our go to restaurant when ever we want something something cheap and quick.

This is my first time at this location and I can’t get enough of Simply Greek. I love their Gyros and I will always love them! I came with my grandma and sister and they’ve never had Mediterranean food before. I ordered the gyro, Avegolemono, and Chicken Souvlaki with fries. I’m Chinese so is my grandma and how many grandparents do you know eat almost anything? I love that my grandma eats anything I want to go eat. I always bring her to new places with me! She did enjoy the food because she thought the Avegolemono tasted like«jook»(porridge). She liked the lemony taste and so did my sister. The souvlaki was pretty good too but I couldn’t stop eating my Gyro. The food does take a while because it is freshly made when you order. So do expect some wait time. I will be back to get more Gyros!

The first time I went here it was busy and I didn’t think they were all the friendly… But the gyros were bomb… I have been back multiple times now and the owner really is much warmer than the first encounter… The food is delicious hot and fresh The steak meat can be a little dry so always go with the traditional gyro meat Mmm delicious

Came here with a couple of friends one day and I was thoroughly impressed! Its a nice little hole in the wall type place, very chill and intimate. I ordered the chicken souvlaki pita sandwich and let me tell you. Im not a huge chicken fan nor a huge sauce person but the chicken seasoning was amazing, and the yogurt sauce is a must to tie everything together. Their pita was sooo fresh and homemade which was probably my favorite part.((Warning– extremely messing so dont wear nice clothes here! Even going a date here may be disastrous)) Anyways highly recommend if you want authentic great food and are in the area!

Simply greek is simply awesome! The spinach salad was delicious! My husbands gyro looked delicious too! The prices are good too! Really like this place and its all legit Greek food not fast food! Good portion size and not stingy with the chicken either! Definitely worth a drive over to Pleasanton for. Good stuff!

This is probably the only Greek restaurant that I know of in the Pleasanton area and ya know what people, it’s good! The euro meat is tasty, flavorful, and tender. I usually come here for lunch and the last time I came here which was about 12pm on a weekday, it wasn’t so packed. I actually went straight to the front and was the first to order. That all changed like at about 12:15pm. So, I would recommend to come at 12pm or earlier if you want to beat the rush during the work week. I guess this place has gained a lot of popularity. The euro plate is what I usually get here. It’s pretty filling too! It comes with the pita, the white creamy sauce called tzatiki, onions, tomatoes, rice or fries, salad, and a drink. You pay like $ 11 plus tax for it all. The salad itself, is a pretty generous portion and I like how it’s a green salad, not that iceberg salad stuff that has like no nutritional value. Anyway, this place is yum and I’ll definitely come back.

This Greek restaurant is good for a quick bite to eat. I usually come here if I’m traveling through the area. Right now there is some mad traffic on 580 east and what a better way to pass 45 minutes than with a delicious beef & lamb gyro. The gyro itself has a flavorful mix of beef & lamb, tomatoes, onions and ample amounts of tzaziki sauce all rolled into warm pita bread. The portions are pretty sizable and the sandwich combo comes in at just over $ 10.00. The Greek salads are actually pretty well constructed and aren’t the type that you may find with limited greens and a small amount of feta cheese and or olives. I opted for the fries on one occasion & my plate/basket was overflowing with perfectly salted, sizable, soft on the inside & crisp on the putside, piping hot fries. If you’re near the highway and looking for a great bite to eat, I suggest that you opt out of the standard fast food faire of Carl’s Jr, Macdonald’s or Taco Bell and hook yourself up.

If you’re in the mood for solid, affordable Greek food, the choice is simple! Okay, that was lame. I’ve had the Falafel Pita($ 6.25), Veggie Combo($ 9.25) and Xoriatiki Salata($ 4.75) and all were tasty. So tasty in fact that I forgot to take any pictures. Very unlike me. I have failed you. Simply Greek is no frills on the décor and no fluff on the service. You order the food and you eat the food. If you enjoy smelling like the food for the rest of the day, eat in the restaurant. If not, order the food to-go and retain your signature scent.

The greek gods have guided me to this amazing little restaurant! Im from Sacramento so i honestly dont know much bout the area that surrounds this place. It was in a little shopping strip nearby a dollar tree, a gym and like a tire place i think. There was a lot of parking spots, The lil restaurant seemed clean, the menu had a variety of sandwiches u that ranged from 6 to 8 bucks and for 3 dollars more u could make it a meal which included rice and a salad. I ordered the«titan gyro» OMGSODAMNGOOD! It was so good that it will make u wanna stone cold stun ur mamma! Yes that good! It was double layered in warm pita bread it was full of tender tasty juicy flavorful meat, with onions tomatoes and plenty of sauce,(idk the name of the sauce) but it was great! My wife isnt an adventurous eater so she sticks to the typical chicken, blahh i like to try new things shes a party pooper, of course she had to order the meal like always, she got Greek salad and a big serving of rice. Her blaaah chicken sandwich was good tho, the rice was delicious and the salad was flavorful. Like i said im from Sac, but if im back in the area i will comeback! Yes it was that good! Only reason i gave it 4 stars is because the menu lacked of having actual dinner plates with with an actual entrée instead of just paying more and making a sandwich into a meal. The staff was pretty nice as well. I also wish they had an actual signature hot sauce or some siracha hot sauce, they only had little skimpy non spicy«hot sauce» packets. Thats another reason i decided on the 4 stars other than that everything was great!!! Check this place out!!!

The lowdown on what we got: avgolemono soup — chicken lemon rice soup, hearty and comforting, reminds us of the Filipino arroz caldo Titan pita with gyro and beefteki — good, highly recommend lamb souvlaki — absolute fail, lamb was under seasoned and tough baklava — barely average kataifi — super bland that we couldn’t even finish it

As if this place needs more good reviews. EVERYTHING here is delicious. AND I MEANEVERYTHING. I’ve even gone so far as to order the Greek yogurt + honey which is UNSURPRISINGLY — DELICIOUS. I’m convinced they can do no wrong. That is all.

We really liked this place with friendly staff and plenty of parking. A bit warm inside but plenty of tables and a few outside as well. The layout I can imagine this place being very crowded at lunch time. We came in dinner time and practically had the place to ourselves. Falafel pita was I think made to order, crunchy outside and soft inside with full flavor. They were large but next time I’d ask for half of the sauce or put it on the side = way too much. Hubby ordered the Gyro and he liked it, said he was glad to know this place was here for another lunch spot close to work. Fries were good too! We’d totally go back again.

Hey not bad! My fiancé’s favorite place for Greek is unfortunately in NY(Gyro World in Flushing), so I was very, very hesitant to bring her here for a quick dinner. However I saw that the reviews were good and that many restaurants in the area were closed Monday night, so we had decided to give it a go. Unfortunately I have no pics and it was a take out meal, but we had the gyro lamb sandwich and a chicken soulvaki plate dinner. The plate dinner came with rice and salad with Greek dressing. My fiancé said that the flavor was good, but of course«nothing like NY»(her mantra since coming here like my mantra of «nothing like LA» lol). I would have to agree though, the place in NY she likes, I like too. But surprisingly the lamb gyro was great. First, it was cut off the spit vs. other places where they reheat frozen pieces of gyro meat. Second, it had a good amount of spices to make it interesting. Who knows if this is a family recipe… I suspect not, but the lamb gyro was good and I’d order it again. The dining area is very, very casual and probably more suited for a lunch crowd. There’s plenty of parking but you’re better off parking in the larger lot as the smaller one is very tight and lots of cars there for the Chinese restaurant next door. We plan on returning for sure… but if only I can get my fiancé to correctly pronounce gyro! I tell her«Hey, do you order fooh or fuhhh(phở)???» :)

I really wanted to like this place because many of my friends raved about it. It convinced me to treat my coworkers out here on Friday. We arrived exactly at 11 am so we can get back to work on time. Our party of 5 mainly ordered Simply Greek’s infamous kebab(pork, lamb) in addition to side salads, and fried mushrooms. Sadly, our orders took over 40 minutes to come. I never complain about waiting for food unless it was not worth it! Which brings me my next point, all our kebabs were simply overcooked, chewy and dry. Moreover, my lamb kebab did not have taste fresh rather old. What a total disappointment because the Unilocal pictures looked great. I will say though that their rice and fried mushrooms were delicious. I came here to eat kebab and it was SIMPLY disappointing that this place did not meet the standard. Perhaps, I came on an OFF day but it was Friday and I expected more
