Sunglass Hut

Ok… so I know the girl is new but every time she would put the sunglasses down (the one I was purchasing), she would put it facedown on the lens. She also didn’t know how to use the register. I’ve been waiting for over 30 mins.

Great service! I came in for a simple cleaning cloth, spending no more than $ 7. The woman who was assisting me, Stephanie, was very engaging and personable. I admired that she treated me just as well as she would treat someone spending $ 200. Unfortunately, employees in retail tend to «nickel-​and-​dime» their customers. It’s refreshing to see someone who treats everybody with kindness and respect.

We had such a pleasant experience this time. They ordered my glasses from another store, and called the same day to let us know they had arrived.

Had FANTASTIC help here during a recent visit. They repaired my honeys sunglasses without charge, and also helped me find a part number for a pair of Ray Bans that I have. I haven’t had such great customer service from Sunglass ever before.

After dropping my shades and breaking them yesterday, I came by the mall and dropped two bills on a new pair and broke my wallet today. The young lady managing, who helped me, Brittany, was charming, knowledgable, patient, and her associate she was training was a pleasure as well. This young lady outshines her job there, in my opinion. Sunglass prices are ridiculous enough, but great service made it a bit easier to swallow. In a world where so many employees don’t really get it, this was a rare example of an employee outclassing their environment.

I bought a pair of Prada sunglasses at Sunglass Hut in Macy’s at Stoneridge Mall. When I got home i noticed a couple fine scratches on the lenses and a lot more on the frame. So I took them back. It turns out they sold me a pair that someone else had bought and returned. They ordered me a pair and when I received them ten days later in the mail they were in worse condition than the first pair, nor did they come w/​a case or even a cleaning cloth! Sunglass Hut told me that the glasses were no longer available. I found them online for half the price. If you decide to do business w/​these people make sure you inspect the glasses thoroughly & I highly suggest looking for the glasses somewhere else, like online. More
than likely you’ll get them at a much better price. Whatever you do, shop w/​CAUTION!

Victor, thank you for all the patience and help you gave us today. It was a joy to browse and shop with you! My husband’s glasses were perfect and we appreciate all your time, effort, and opinion. This Sunglass Hut has such a great selection of everything that it was difficult staying on budget.

I recently visited this Sunglass Hut location and was very pleased with the personalized service I received. I needed a pair of sunglasses and was in a real hurry. My baby was on a verge of a meltdown and the saleslady not only gave me a few choices based on what I was looking for but she also tried to play peek-​a-​boo with my son and entertain him. What great service! Note: this location (upstairs) also has a lot more brands and selection than the downstairs store which is smaller.

This is a warning to anyone looking to purchase sunglasses! DONOT buy from the SUNGLASS HUT! I say this in regards to the store upstairs near Macys at the Stoneridge mall. I purchased a pair of $ 170.00 sunglasses in September. Three months later one of the screws broke in half and fell out. I was not even tightening. It simply fell out! This seems to be a clear defect. However, the store manager «SUSAN» who is completely unprofessional and rude to no end. Would do nothing. When asked for the regional representlive contact information the «manager» stated she would not give it to me and I should leave the store. Sunglass hut must be hiring from the bottom of the barrel! I have never run across a store employee so inept. So as stated, spend your monies at another retailer. One that hires intelligent managers!

I was able to get in touch with Sunglass Hut Cooperate. They where very apologetic for thier functional idiot manager «SUSAN» at the upstairs store Stoneridge mall. They sent a new pair of glasses the day I called. Susan, maybe Wal-​Mart is your speed!

There are two locations in the mall, one downstairs and one upstairs by Victoria’s Secret. The one upstairs carries more upscale brands. I was on the search for a pair of bone Chanel glasses that I’d seen in a magazine. After a super-​helpful employee’s suggestion at Solstice I headed here. They were on display right up front, I was so excited since this saved me a trip to Walnut Creek or San Francisco to check them out.
The salesgirl urged me to get them because they sell out quickly and this was the last pair, at first I thought high pressure, but then she told me about their return policy…30 days no questions asked (didn’t matter if there were scratches or not). Now, I am not going to put that return policy to the test because I am in love, but it seems fairly generous.

I have shopped there several times and everyone is very helpful. One guy in particular (don’t know his name, but he is very helpful.
I would shop there again.

Got a pair of sunglasses from this place, service was good, he let me try on 5 or 6 pairs, and helped me narrowed down to my final choice.

I bought my husband some new sunglasses to replace his pair he lost. They had a nice selection of Ray Bans. The sales associate was helpful and not to pushy either. She told me all of the options that come with my purchase plainly and was very nice.
I don’t normally like going to specialty store like this but they had a decent pair of glasses that were nicely priced. I would probably go back here again.
