Update on my past review : I mentioned how great the All American burger was at Applebee’s but since then, we went back for the same and it sucked. So, my advice is to stick with Five Guys which so far has been good on every visit.

We have picked up here many times. We always seem to go just before they are closing, after the gym, and everyone is always pretty friendly. We get it to go and even the fries travel well. I love the shoe string as shape of the fries! The burgers are very very tasty. They are not greasy and after I eat them I feel good. I think the organic beef really makes a difference. Wish they were open until 10pm or even 9:30. I hope this place stays open. They are a little hidden, behind the restaurants at the Plymouth Meeting mall but easy to get to.

Organic burgers… What more can you say. Well, the burgers are made to order and taste great, plus the service is exceptional and the owner Lynn is a rock star.

A bunch of friends and I went to Dave and Busters in Plymouth Meeting one night and on our walk back we saw Elevation Burger. The place looked nice with all the windows and colorful scenery so we vowed to come back the next day and try it out! Four guys who all like burgers doesn’t take much convincing. It’s a nice clean burger joint with signs along the walls explaining how their food is «healthier.» We all ordered our burgers the way we like them. I ordered The Elevation Burger with bacon, caramelized onions, lettuce, and elevation sauce with a side of fries and a strawberry banana shake. It arrived quickly and with a smile. It’s amazing what good food can do to people. We never stopped talking from when we walked through the front door to when our food came, but once our food came it was silence. My burger was fresh and savory and the elevation sauce was AMAZING. All I could think was how great my burger was! I looked around at the table and I could tell my friends were thinking the same thing. I don’t exclusively eat organic but knowing that my burger was organic made it so much better! What was even better was that we all didn’t feel like we just woke up from a heavy night of drinking like the way Five Guys makes you feel! I’ve never had fries cooked in olive oil before but after my first trip to Elevation Burger I prefer it that way! I’ve been back to Elevation Burger many times since that first visit and seeing that every visit is just as good as the next I felt compelled to write a review. In my opinion, this Elevation Burger in Plymouth Meeting is the best burger joint around. If I can eat a burger and fries that good and be able to go to the gym after then that place is for me!

Hubby and I tried Elevation Burger tonight — very disappointing. 3 elevation burgers with cheese, two milkshakes and one fry was $ 38.50. Which would have been ok, given their underlying concept, if the food had been decent. It was not. You know that one friend who never seasons their meat when they grill burgers? And then cooks everything super well done, maybe pressing on the burgers because they like the sizzling sound it makes, even though you’re crying on the inside because you know all they’re doing is pressing all the juices out of the meat? Are you with me? Now, imagine arriving at said friend’s barbecue 3 hours late and there are just a few, sad, overdone, lukewarm patties left in a tray covered with foil. But you’re hungry, so you buck up and put it on a bun with toppings, but there’s no saving it. It’s terrible, right? Well now you know how it feels to eat at Elevation Burger. Oh, except at the barbecue at least you can add healthy amounts of toppings and condiments to try to help it go down smooth. My double patty burger came with about a tablespoon of Elevation sauce, 1.5 square inches of lettuce, three 1 inch pieces of onion, two small pickle slices, and a small, single slice of tomato. Hubby ordered extra mayo on both his burgers and received it on neither. Fries were ok, a little greasy. Will say the milkshakes were generous with the ice cream, but my vanilla shake did not taste particularly like vanilla. More like a sweet cream milkshake. Two final notes, regarding the service. The guy who took our order wasn’t overly friendly, and when I asked him what Elevation sauce was, he said«Big Mac Sauce». Seems to me that an enterprise trying so mightily to distinguish itself from the McDonalds and BKs of the world might not want to align itself so quickly with one of their signature sauces. Or at least tell their employees to find a better way to describe it. Also, small thing but the girl who brought our food out took our table number. So the poor guy who made the milkshakes was randomly roaming the joint trying to find us and deliver our shakes, but was looking in vain for the people with ticket #X. Like I said, small thing, but in light of the overall experience, just another misstep for the«elevated» price. Won’t be back.

Was excited this moved to the Plymouth meeting, gave it 2 tries to get the full experience. Wasn’t overly thrilled except for the cheese. Really unique ages cheddar which really makes the sandwich. Expensive like 5 guys, you could almost go to a sit down restaurant for the price but all in all not bad. Staff was kinda loud which is annoying because I’m trying to eat not hear about that. Salad was good, banana milkshake was bangin, burger was pretty good, not the best I’ve ever had. Gave it a shot not sure if I’ll be back

You gotta be kidding, $ 28 for two burgers and two shakes. This is too expensive for a casual burger joint, and too bare bones for fine dining. Sorta like a really expensive five guys. The burgers were good, not great, lousy rolls. And cheese is 60 cents a slice. Doubt I will be back at this price as there are many many other options that are more comfortable.

New favorite burger place. The burgers taste better. Olive oil makes fries taste great. The milk shakes were awesome. The ingredients really do make a difference. Prompt service.

$ 8 for a burger with cheese is too expensive. I don’t care how organic it is. The fries were shoe string and not that good. Too salty. The veggie burger #1 was decent. But I ordered caramelized onions, as opposed to raw onions, and they weren’t even CLOSE to being caramelized. There definitely were some raw ones, and that sucked because I hate them. Otherwise, it was clean, quiet, and plenty of high chairs with working clasps.

See my review for the Collegeville, PA location. I don’t know that they’re the same owner, but all of the same product pluses apply; grass-fed beef, aged cheddar, fries cooked in olive oil(not vegetable or peanut oil). This location is HUGE. There’s all kinds of seats; tables, high tops, window seats and it’s super bright and airy inside. This EB has been open for about a month since this review, and has its own entrance at the Plymouth Meeting Mall. It is behind the California Pizza Kitchen. Staff when ordering were friendly enough, but seemed to be «hanging out» and making noise the rest of the time. The wait is no longer than the Collegeville location. It takes some time to cook quality as it’s not fast food, but fast casual… notice no drive thru. Our burger buns were stale and the fries under done. We sent back the fries for new ones. Not sure what to do about the buns. I probably won’t be back to this EB anytime soon, at least not until they’re over their growing pains, as I found the food not properly cooked and the staff to be unprofessional… you know as professional as you CAN be at a place like this.

Clean and bright inside. Willing to wait a couple minutes for fresh made food brought to us. Nice addition to the outside food options there at the mall. Gotta love a good burger… and organic too! Having them cater my next office meeting.

We waited over 20 minutes for our food. Food finally arrived after my wife had to go ask to see where it was. Food finally arrived and was Luke warm and the fries filled about half of the paper dish that they came in. Never again for us!
