Me and my boyfriend were here yesterday(Saturday) night, we had to wait about an hour. The staff were very nice, professional and courteous as thy checked us in and with others as what I observed during my hour wait. I even witnessed the manager help seat people and clean tables to help seat people faster.(Next time we will Make reservations we can make the same day and as little as an hour ahead). The manager sat us, told us she was the manager and if we had any problems to let her know. Our waitress was very very nice. It was very busy so the food did take a little long to come and I was a bit disappointed that my food was just warm and not hot but it was sooooo delicious and it was very busy so I over looked that. The waitress made suggestions on how to order the pepper steak as the one on the menu is spicy due to the pepper and it came out perfect and she was very pleasant to my request for more peppers. She suggested the fried banana appetizer with the pineapple coconut ice cream which my boyfriend loved! I had their cheesecake which was good but not as delicious as their food. Wish their was a pf Chang closer to me. Can’t wait to go back again next month!

A strange evening at P.F. Chang’s. Let me say right from the top that the waiter was very nice and tried his best but was very overloaded. I think the weak link we encountered last night was from the hosts. I haven’t been to a P.F. Chang’s for a few years, but have always found them to be pleasant with good service and decent food. We made reservations at the Plymouth Meeting location and were running ahead of schedule so I called about an hour before our reservation to let them know we were running about 30 minutes early. The very curt response — no, we are very busy and you will be seated at the time of your reservation. Okay, understandable on Christmas Eve. We arrived a bit early anyway, checked in, waited and were seated at exactly our reservation time. Six of us in a very small 4 – 5 person(max) table. Shoulder to shoulder, not even enough room on the table for all of our food when it arrived so our dishes were right on the edge of the table. Meantime, there were larger empty tables all around us — I wanted to request a bigger table but one of our party did not want to make a fuss. We sat for 10 minutes with no acknowledgement from anyone when a group of 5 was seated at one of the larger tables next to us. 5 minutes later, a waitress appeared to take the order of the group of 5 and we were still unacknowledged(now 15 minutes after arrival). I walked up to the hostess who said she would send a manager over. Just as the manager appeared, so did our waiter. The manager apologized and said our waiter had just been bombarded by the hostess with 3 large groups all at once. The waiter took our order and departed. About 10 minutes later, still with no food or drink on the table(we only wanted waters at that point as we were quite thirsty), the hostess came over and said she was going to call a manager to get us our drinks. I followed the hostess back to her host station where there were 3 hosts standing around with nothing to do because the location was closing early and not taking any more customers, and asked her why she needed to keep calling the manager — why didn’t she just get us our waters? She explained, «I’m a host! I’m not allowed to bring beverages.» I suggested that they are all one team and should help each other, especially since our waiter now had 18 people to serve all at once. Eventually, the manager came over with waters and said he would comp us our appetizers(which was a very nice offer!). And then our food came, though they forgot the sauce on one of our orders, but the waiter went back and brought us some. During our meal, 3 different managers came over and apologized, but I come back to the hosts — we were seated right next to them, they saw that we were not being served(we could hear them talking about the fact we weren’t getting service), according to the manager they are the ones who overloaded our waiter and they could have helped out a lot. My suggestion to management — tell your hosts that they are part of the team(my guess is that they receive a percentage of the server’s tips) and need to assist when necessary, not just stand around chatting.

I’ve been to my share of PF Chang’s all around. Last night I was in the Plymouth Meeting one for the 1st time. The menu has changed some since last being there with some good new additions. Had a fabulous meal, with hot and sour soup, steamed pork dumplings, spicy tuna roll and spicy chicken lomein. Wrapped it up with the banana spring rolls which were the best I’ve had at this chain. The sushi was good, the hot and sour soup excellent, the spicy lomein was outstanding but the biggest winner was the dessert. Service was nice as was the atmosphere. All in all only positives to say here.

I would like the name and number of someone with authority at PF Chang’s corporate office. I want to speak/complain to you about an incident at one of your Chain restaurants. I’d like to know how their chefs/servers/mangers are trained. Tonight we were served raw chicken after waiting over an hour for our meals. To be more specific a 6 year old was served raw chicken! I can see waiting that long had PF Cheng’s been busy, but the place was dead. What makes matters even worse, we were just offered«sorry» by the server who brought out the food. I had to ask for a manager. Once we waited again a lengthy amount of time a manager came over to offer his«sincere apologize», and to «take a few items off our bill», but we could still enjoy the rest of our dinners. I proceeded to ask«how can we be sure the rest of these dishes were cooked properly?» Your wonderful manager said if not«here is my card, call me». Please explain to me what his card is going to do when my friends 6 year old or my 7 year old or any of us end up in the hospital with salmonella poisoning? We collected our personal items and left without consuming our dinner. I will Never eat at your restaurant again, and believe me I plan telling everyone I know about my experience with this chain and how they should avoid this place at all costs! I plan on writing a longer review of PF Cheng’s terrible customer service and even worse horrible food prep, and posting it anywhere I can. This PF Cheng’s is located at Plymouth Meeting Pennsylvania.

Food was not very good and speed of service is very slow. Our waitress was very friendly tho. Granted We cane here on a Friday night, but it shouldn’t take 1hr and half to serve dinner for two. Poor execution on food and speed of service. I will not be coming here again.

Foods too salty and sweet, small portion sizes, servers never refilled water and I had to wait for literally 20minutes for the server to bring the check. The store manager was walking around the restaurant with the broom and made dusts while people were eating.

I have honestly never been a fan of this place, but recently visited again with a co-worker. I do have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with my meal(lunch). My co-worker has several severe food allergies, so I always leave the restaurant choice up to her. They seem to have plenty of options to meet her restrictions, and are willing to prepare the food properly for her to enjoy. While I don’t require the same restrictions I can appreciate their attention to the situation. The lunch menu was decent, and relatively new from what I heard. I ordered the Asian Grilled Salmon with fried rice and a cup of Egg Drop Soup. The salmon was absolutely delicious — I loved it. Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. The service was okay. I felt bombarded by the numerous servers coming to the table(one brought drinks, one took the order, one brought food, another cleared the food, etc). I appreciate their work ethic, but it almost felt rushed. The food also took a while to come out, but that may be due in part to the dietary restrictions/prep of my coworkers meal. All in all it was okay. I probably won’t go back(unless dining with her again) but it was a good lunch.

Horrendous food. Quality service Ordered lobster roll /ginger chicken The sushi was thick, it would have been nice to see more than just rice Plus what’s up with their rice, it feels like extra starchy jasmine rice. And this is really dry down the throat . Broccoli tastes of chlorine and chicken is also oct cooked /dry as hell. With the money they charge, I would’ve expected standard service. Didn’t live up.

By far my favorite place to go out to eat! Love it and it feels healthy for some reason. Mmmmmm. Try the banana rolls for dessert… The pineapple ice cream that comes with the banana rolls is one of a kind. So delicious!

Stopped by here yesterday with my family after work. Our server was very nice(blonde hair short, we were by the bar area). She made sure our glasses were always full. I think she was actually helping everyone sitting in the booths and center tables in the bar area so she had a lot on her hands. The guy from take out/pick up brought our entrée out and I asked if he could bring my daughter a plastic fork and his response was a bit hesitant, «I’m over at take out, but I’ll be back.» He never came back so I had to ask our server 5 minutes later. The food was mediocre– I had the Korean BBQ chicken, which said it would have kimchi on top but there was no kimchi. It didn’t taste anything like Korean BBQ but it was still good.

The usual PF Chang’s… Great service. The only thing is the wine list. They could revise it a little bit more. They don’t have good selection like all other PF Chang’s. Otherwise, if you are from out of town and looking for place to eat, this one is safe.

They get 2 stars for the 2 delicious desserts we ordered after a disappointing bland meal. We wouldn’t have gone here ourselves, but we received a gift card and so we wanted to give it a try. First of all, it took a while before our waitress took our order for drinks. I felt slightly ignored. We went on and ordered the calamari as a starter which was just ok. For our main course we ordered the Buddha’s feast(vegetables), the Mongolian beef and the honey chicken. I thought it was one of the worst American Chinese foods I’ve ever eaten. There was no flavor to be found, and the beef was overcooked. The vegetables were ok, though they used too much ginger for my taste. After we finished our main course, it took ages for our table to be cleaned up. We wanted to get to dessert to get rid of the blandness of the main course! We eventually ordered the banana spring rolls and the caramel cake. Both were good! After dessert, our waitress was nowhere to be found(again!). We had to ask someone else to bring our check. Would not come back here. I’d say there’s better American Chinese food at the mall!

Great vegetarian options! Nearly every dish can be made with either silken or hard marinated tofu. My family just loves the food here. We usually get Chang’s Spicy Tofu and Singapore Street noodles. Both are great.

Always a good experience, and when it wasn’t 100% the staff made sure we didn’t leave without it being just that. There is rarely a wait for the food and quality is consistent. Management is always visible. There are many regulars here and it is obvious why. The staff truly makes this place which is why we come so often.

I have a PF Changs near my home but decided to try this one since it was close to my hotel while away on a business trip. I actually went twice while on this last trip. One visit was on a sunday afternoon where we had a late lunch, early dinner after traveling all day. Our server was nice and the food the same quality as the one near my home. We were in and out quickly that afternoon. The other visit was a tuesday night dinner with my sister who drove in from Philly to meet up with me. Our server was nice but a bit forgetful. Again, the food was fine but my meal came out and my sister had to wait about 5 min longer for hers to come out. Not sure why they did not come out together. I only ate about half of my meal and I asked if I could take it home. My sister and this server got into a conversation about life challenges he was going thru and after getting back to my hotel, I realized he totally forgot to give me my leftovers! Again, he was a sweet guy but was not on top of his game. The place is decorated well and the food was good. Atmosphere = 8 Service = 8 Food = 8 Enjoy!

Much better price to value ratio. Service was excellent. I got in early and the place only got half full. The noise was better. I believe this is still an issue that corporate needs to address. Mongolian Beef was beautiful. Moo Goo Gui Pan had lots of shrimp.

Totally different mix of people. Average age looks in there mid-30’s to early 40’s and it’s a Thursday evening close to 7p with temps at a scorching 63 degrees [lol!-]. The vibe is very chilled amongst the chatter of multiple conversations, slightly heavy bass from the sound system playing Hall & Oats — Maneater :-) and the excessive clinking from the kitchen. [I’m sitting at the furthest end of the bar.] Ordered 2 Spring Rolls that were tasteless. You need the sauces they offer. Bartenders are friendly. It’s been at least two years since I’ve been here and this place STILL has not grown on me. :-( Stop in and form your own opinion. Enjoy!
