Great food. No changing table This would’ve been a 5 star rating, but — My family and I enjoy going to dickies 2 – 3 times a month. Normally we’re in and out and a lack of a changing table in the restroom is not an issue. Tonight we had family in town and spent a little more time there. My 6 month old and 2 yr. old both dirtied their diapers. My wife went to the restroom to change them and found there was no changing table. We love coming to dickies, but cannot return with the kids until a changing table is installed. Please resolve this matter to ensure your quality customers can continue to return with their families.

This was my first visit to Dickeys. It was a good restaurant, for a fast food joint. I ordered takeout. Food came within 5 minutes in a nice handled bag. Restaurant was very nice inside. There were 3 TVs. I had the 2 meat plate. Pulled pork and brisket. The brisket was dry, and since I’m a big fan of brisket, I was disappointed. The pulled pork was very good, I would recommend it. The fried okra was very good, other than it was a bit over salted. The baked beans were flavorful, but pretty runny. The roll was OK, but a corn bread roll would have been better The BBQ sauce was tasty, but no where near enough for my take out. Not sure what flavor they included, I will want to try a different flavor next time. I’m think I will try it again.

This is not a sit down BBQ place, but the fast food equivalent. With that said, I think this place is really good if your expectations are at the right level. Understanding that it is a fast food place, which has your food to you within 5 minutes of order, it does not have the quality of a Famous Dave’s. We have only tried the brisket, bbq chicken and pulled pork. Although the brisket has been really dry at times, the pulled pork and chicken has been really consistent. The nice thing about this place is the bbq sauce choices to add to your sandwich. They have sweet, original and spicy, with the latter being my preference. The reason that we like this place is because it is a cheap alternative to itch that bbq craving, without spending $ 30 at Dave’s. We usually split a large sandwich, that comes with two meats and add on a side and drink. This place also has some nice extras. For example, they have a kid’s eat free option on Sundays, that includes children options, a drink, and a side. They also have soft serve vanilla cones to compliment your meal. It isn’t the greatest quality of ice cream, but it doesn’t cost a dime. Overall, this is a good fast food bbq, that has never been too busy when we visited. Although the brisket can be dry, that is offset by the sauces and the price. I recommend it as quick meal if you find yourself in the area.

I had heard good things about this place, so I thought I would give it a try. It’s barbeque, so I knew it would be on the pricey side for quick service going in. I’m not considering that in the rest of my review. I had the westerner sandwich with beef brisket and chicken. I added some of the hot bbq sauce(they have 3 different bbq sauces kept warm next to the drink area for you to add what you want). I had the green beans and fries as my sides. The sandwich was very flavorful and what I would expect for the price. Nothing phenominal, but it met my expectations. The greenbeans were WAY overcooked in my opinion. I’m a fan of crisper green beans and I was expecting something like what I have had at Redsmoke BBQ in Greektown. These were mushy and reminded me of school cafeteria vegetables. I was pretty disappointed in these since I was trying to add a vegetable to an unhealthy meal and it ended up being a regret. The fries(waffle style… I’m a fan) were good. I mixed hot bbq and ketchup together for them and it added a good kick. I’ll probably come back eventually, but this isn’t a place I will frequent. It’s just not phenominal and they don’t have a lot of healthy options. If you need a BBQ fix and don’t want to go to a sit down place, Dickey’s is your best bet.

Based on the so-so reviews, I was a little concerned to try this place, but I am sure glad I did! The salivating smell of barbecue once I got out of my car and walked towards the door made me realize I had made the right decision. I really like that in addition to sandwiches and family dinners you can also get meat by the pound. I ended up getting a half pound of pulled pork and a quarter pound of brisket. In addition I ordered a small order of potato salad, small order of onion rings and a medium coleslaw. We loved the taste of the pulled pork. The staff threw in a substantial amount of their regular bbq sauce, which my husband really liked. I opted to get a side of their spicy sauce, which had a really nice kick to it! My husband loved the brisket. He said it was cooked perfectly. The onion rings were fantastic. Thin and crispy and not too greasy. The nice thing was that I ordered the food earlier in the day(around 11) and it all warmed up really nicely in the oven at dinner. I was afraid the onion rings wouldn’t be crisp, but they were perfect. The only thing we really didn’t care for was the potato salad. It has a lot of dill in it which my husband doesn’t care for. In addition I thought the coleslaw was so-so. Overall, I would recommend Dickey’s. Great food at a reasonable price and in a great location!

Worst BBQ place I have ever visited! Turkey tasted like it came from a can, pre-sliced, dry and bland. Salad stuffed into a cup to hide the fact that it was wilted. Beans were flavorless. Food was awful, but prices were high, avoid this place at all costs.

Every time I go to a Dickeys in Michigan I am disappointed that I forgot why I shouldn’t have gone there. The brisket is always so hilariously dry. I asked for some cut off the point and it is still super dry. It’s super salty, and who cuts brisket with the grain? If you want good BBQ go elsewhere or smoke it yourself.

I came here not knowing it would be fast-food style bbq. That being said, it was still not great for that. The sides(mac & cheese and bbq beans) were somehow bland and terribly flavored at the same time. The roll was a little frozen dough piece that had been heated just enough to be cooked, then stiffened under a heat lamp. The ribs were tender, but didn’t have much flavor, so I tried the«original bbq sauce», but that was basically vinegar and didn’t make it better. They cost as much as Famous Dave’s, but aren’t even close in quality. Even the free soft serve was gritty! Do yourself a favor waste your money somewhere else. Second star because it was a clean place with good service, but that’s probably because there were more staff than customers for a Saturday dinner service. Edit — I had to bring it down an additional star, as Dickey’s customer service pretended to try to make things better, but never followed through on their weird response through Unilocal messaging. I’ve added a picture of the response. I also never received a call. It’s okay, though, I would have just asked for a gift card to Famous Dave’s or a refund. And please don’t bother to contact me at this point!

We love it here. In fact it’s our favorite BBQ place. It’s fast, and laid back. I don’t understand the low ratings… We have always been happy and we are fussy. The food quality is excellent. Our favorites are the brisket and pulled pork. It reminds me of some first-rate places we tried down south. Some people mentioned not liking the brisket if it has smaller pieces, but when it falls apart like that is is deliciously tender. Maybe prices are a little high, but you get great flavor, real ingredients, and ice cream, and it’s a good quality soft serve, very creamy. The fried sides are brought piping-hot to your table. Love those rings and okra. Potato salad and baked potato casserole are first-rate, too. You can order online for fast takeout, too, and we just grab some cones when we pick up. It’s a great place for foodies and the family.

It’s OK if you are in the mood for BBQ, but the prices are high for what you get. The secret is sticking with the meat. The sides are pretty lame.

My husband and I are addicted to this place! It’s right on my way home, so I find myself picking up regularly. The brisket is what I get every time. The sides have all been delicious too. I have no complaints at all.

Quite poor. I’ve eaten here a few times. The portion sizes are a joke, and the prices are too high. The ribs I ordered today were very salty. Yankee’s don’t know BBQ.

I went in there yesterday as kind of a spur of the moment thing. I had originally planned on going into the Chinese place next door, but wanted to give this place a try. There used to be another rib place in this plaza, but it wasn’t very good and they went out of business. This place is a different story and I’m glad I decided to go in. Their ribs are fall off the bone tender and hickory smoked. You can smell it the moment you walk in the door. I ordered the rib plate which comes with a roll and choice of two sides. I got the barbecued baked beans and the macaroni and cheese. Both were very good. They also have free soft serve ice cream, but I was full after eating my meal, so I didn’t try it. I was truly surprised how tender the ribs were. The place was quite crowded at lunch time. If you love ribs, you definitely need to give this place a visit. I will be back for sure.

Went back today for more carryout, the brisket was pretty dry, had to drench it in BBQ sauce to bring it back to life. The green beans were so soggy the wouldn’t stay on a fork, the kids still like the Mac and cheese and my wife really liked the dill potatoe salad. I’m lowering them from 4 stars to 3 for the dry brisket and soggy beans. The counter help has improved though.

The food was awesome I ordered the pulled pork sandwich this time. The only thing I don’t recommend is the fried onion tanglers they are very salty and very thin. We couldn’t eat them at all. Its like they dipped them in a bowl of salt. We will be back but just for the meats or sandwiches. The potatoe caserole is very yummy, you can tell it’s real potatoes they use for it.

Pretty good BBQ and fast! Really like their pulled pork, spicy cheddar sausage and mac n cheese. Great sauces also served warm! Only minor issue I have is I wish the food was served a little bit warmer.

Yum! We were craving BBQ and remembered we seen a sign in Plymouth. Good service, good food, great prices. I loved the brisket, sausage, and pulled pork. We tried four sides: Mac &Cheese– big noodles, loads of cheese! Gooey goodness! BBQ Beans– a bit spicy, then sweet Baked Potato Casserole– so delicious! Can taste bacon, chives, sour cream, butter– amazing! Coleslaw– creamy and crunch– perfect! We will be back and will be bringing friends!

Yikesssss. My biggest issues with here are some of their menu choices. First off I was anticipating some beef ribs. This is supposed to be Texas BBQ right? What is Texas without beef ribs? I would kill for someone in this town to make decent beef ribs, seriously. Second issue was with the chicken, Italian marinated chicken at a BBQ place? Ummm seriously? Dickey what are you smoking? I mean beyond the meats. My last WTF had to do with the American singles on the sandwiches. Just no. Ok? Dry and crumbly seems to be the theme with the meat here. We tried brisket and pulled pork and both were just that. Sauces here are actually fairly good, trust me you will need them. The ‘que itself is rather lacking. Not a lot of smoke flavor and I was not a fan of the texture obviously. The ribs were not terribly thrilling but at least they were neither dry or crumbly. A tad bit tough and a tad overdone but nothing that I was that upset with comparitively. My husband was not a fan of the bland mac and cheese side dish. I would have needed a lot of hot sauce to sample it so I took a pass. I trust when he doesn’t like a mac and cheese dish though, the man generally likes any cheese product so when it is a miss to him I definitely would not be a fan. The baked beans were actually tasty as were the onion tanglers(hard to f up fried foods though really), the potato casserole dish was meh but inoffensive. The bread I had was also nothing to write home about. I actually would be interested in the sausages, turkey, ham and whatnot but really I am not running back anytime soon. It just feels a little half assed for a BBQ joint. Sorry.
