I had my wedding last weekend and Judy and her staff made a beautiful display of cupcakes that were also so delicious they were the talk of the night! Can’t wait to eat our cake topper and order a new one next year!

While spending the weekend in Plymouth with my daughter, we looked for a place for a sweet treat. Being Fitbit conscious and rationalizing the calories, we hoofed it from the water front up to their Alden Street location. It was totally worth the trip. The storefront is quaint with a few bistro tables to sit and enjoy a cupcake and coffee. I had the triple chocolate and my daughter had the chocolate raspberry; both were chocolatey and creamy but not too sweet. The service was delightful. We arrived late afternoon near closing time on what had been a busy weekend preparing 40 cakes for various local events. However, we never felt rushed. We were offered refills on our coffee and given dinner suggestions when we asked. Their cakes look like works of art and I’m sure they’re as delicious as the cupcakes. Definitely worth the calories!

I ordered a cake for my mother’s birthday. The people at the store were very nice. While ordering the cake I specifically asked if it was made with real butter and sugar and was I assured that it was. While the cake portion was moist and delicious, the frosting was inedible. I was told it was butter cream frosting, but it definitely was not made with butter. It tasted like grocery store, super sweet crisco frosting. We were very disappointed, especially since I specifically asked about the ingredients.

While vacationing in Plymouth every summer we order my husband’s birthday cake from Piece of Cake. Prices are reasonable, and the quality is unparalleled. The cake(and this year cupcakes, too) are consistently delicious, moist, and flavorful. They don’t take cards, but the cake is worth the stop at the ATM.

My wife and I were walking around the shops after having lunch at the crab and we stopped in to see what they had. Their cupcakes all looked great, so we came back later after walking a few miles to take two home. We got the vanilla cake and strawberry and triple chocolate. Both were AWESOME! The textures and flavors of everything in both cakes was perfect. The strawberry tasted like a strawberry milk shake. SOoo good. And the chocolate was incredible. You can tell they’re not mass made from one of the big chains. I am glad we found this place and we will be coming back!

Fantastic. Parking can be difficult but it is worth it. Our first experience with Piece of Cake was when it was ordered for our engagement party soon after it opened. The second was for a custom cake order for a friend’s birthday. The order was placed and made within 24 hours and the price was very reasonable. The staff was friendly and flexible. My husband took me to the storefront as he’d been doing deliveries there and we could no longer resist the pull of cupcakes. The inside has a classy looking tea area and you can see right into the bakery. The staff was awesome when I asked for recommendations. I live nearby and it is tough to avoid but so far I’ve managed. Definitely my go-to place for occasions if I’m not baking myself

Amazing cake. I’ve had cake all over the country, from NYC to DC to LA. and Piece of Cake was a lot better than all I’ve had in the past. The frosting was just right, not too light, yet not too heavy; & the cake was very moist. On top of making amazing cake, they are very kind as well. They accepted a personal delivery request from all the way on the other side of the country & surprised me on my birthday. We cannot thank them enough.& I’m still licking the frosting off my fingers! :-)
