We bought a pack of 8 cookies and a loaf of chile cheese and ate all of it within 24 hours. Wow. Looking forward to trying all the others and bringing bread to holiday dinners.

Just the best bread! Perfect crust, great sourdough flavor. My husband is a self proclaimed«bread head» and we can’t get enough of this stuff. We usually go with a baguette and then choose another loaf. So far my favorite is the semolina sesame. My parents really like the cranberry ginger loaf.

This place is amazing. Off the beaten path we heard about this place from our neighbors and then stopped in recently. Their sour dough and nut bread are the best, fresh as you can get and sans any preservatives. Not only that but the prices are awesome… fresh baked(as in the same day) sour dough for $ 4.50? You can’t even buy crappy supermarket bread for that now… Only other place, other than Blue Blinds Bakery up in the center of town, where you can readily get fresh baked bread.

I love Iggy’s but this is worlds better. I travel to buy 4 loaves at a time, freezes very well. The secret is in the development of the dough, this bread takes time to creat and it shows. The best

I discovered Hearth Artisan at the Plymouth Harvest market last November. I’ve been hooked ever since, visiting their retail shop at least twice per month. I have a bread addition, but that’s fine. This place is amazing. You cannot buy a decent bread at the«average» supermarkets in Plymouth, especially at the prices they charge. Hearth is reasonably priced for a superb product. They have a huge selection. The 3 chili cheese bread is ridiculously good(and sinful). Everything is fabulous and I am so glad I found Hearth.

More places like this will make Plymouth respectable in food culture. They would be equally at home, and competitive, in the West Village of NYC. I haven’t had a bad bread — sour dough, multi-grain, cinnamon raisin — all great.

Love their bread! I have tried a few and the fruit and but one is my favorite. The staff is very helpful and knows a lot about the breads. They were able to tell me which ones to stay away from because of a food allergy. The store is a little off the beaten path but just look for the flour footprints and you will find it.

Just. Found this place. Wonderful varieties, great tasting bread, very affordable. While the staff is courteous, it would be great if they were more knowledgeable about the ingredients. Yes, I know they bake a lot of different types. But the popular breads such as Harvest, cranberry, and pepper loaves are pretty basic. It would be much more professional to be able to tell me what kind of flour are in them rather than referring me to the clipboard. Know your product guys, and be proud of what you’ve created!

The crust on my bread was well done, but not crunchy. Who says artisan bread has to be crunchy? There’s more to bread than crunch.

I bought a few loaves for Mom at Fromage a Trois in Barnstable. She was stocking Hearth Bread a few weeks back. Mom buys her bread from Darby’s in West Boylston and Rose32 in Hardwick. When on Cape she loves Iggy’s. Of course I am a major carb fan as well. Hearth was good… I’d get it again. Have not been to the actual store in Plymouth.

Hearth Wood Fired bread is amazing! They have the best fresh bread anywhere around. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside– they have amazing varieties of bread, but you can’t go wrong with the french loaf. You can also buy at Russo’s in Watertown if you aren’t in the Plymouth area.

This bakery opened over a year ago and specialized in Wood fired sourdough bread. The breads have thick, crunchy crust and soft, delicious center. They have several varieties including one that contains golden raisins and cranberries. I believe that the majority of their business is restaurants however they have a small retail shop where they sell their fresh bread by the loaf for about $ 4.00 a loaf. They will slice on request. It is located in an industrial park right off of Route 3 in Plymouth(Exit 5) and can be hard to spot if you are not paying attention but it is well worth a visit!
