We were married here in March and it was the most beautiful location. We mostly worked with Linda, one of the owners, and she was wonderful. Anytime I had a question she was happy to answer it, I never felt like I was bothering her. They were a class act, from the signing of the contract, picking out the wine, the day before our wedding and the day of our wedding, they were helpful. Linda was there every step of the way with great ideas and if we needed anything. If you are thinking about getting married here, I highly recommend them. My wedding was more beautiful than I ever imagined, and everything went very smoothly. I have heard horror stories of brides being disappointed but not at Amador Cellars.

I got married here in May and it was perfect. Linda, Larry and Ashley were so helpful during the whole process and the venue they have created was picture perfect. We wanted to get married in the Amador area since my in laws live there but we were struggling to find a venue that could fit 120 people and that was the perfect mixture of casual elegance. I always wanted to get married in a barn and while driving through the area I saw the barn from the road and we immediately knew we found the perfect location. Our out of town guests are still raving about how beautiful our wedding was and our local guests are already planning return wine tasting visits. This place has gotten so much more popular since we first visited and it is well deserved. I wish the Long family nothing but good things, they are the best!

We had our wedding at Amador Cellars on September 19, 2014. Linda and Larry(owners) were so accommodating to us and our guests. The venue is beautiful and a real gem in Amador County. Price was affordable and we were able to bring in our own vendors(with approval). A lot of other wineries require you to work off a preferred vendor list and they really mark up the prices. Amador Cellars does not do this, which made it easier on our wallet. We had the ceremony in the lawn area at sunset and had the reception in the barn, we also had seating trickle out onto the patio. The open barn doors and chandelier added such a romantic rustic touch to the wedding. Our guests just raved about the beauty of the barn and what a great setup it offered! I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom looking for a stress free venue to work with :) Thank you Long family for letting us celebrate our wedding day at Amador Cellars. Justin and Lauren

My wife and I got married here on June 7th of this year and we couldn’t of asked for a better venue, it was just perfect! The barn is amazing, the setting is gorgeous, the owners are super friendly and the wine is delicious! We looked at a lot of different venues, in multiple areas, and nothing came close to The Barn at Amador Cellars. Very reasonably priced, beautiful vineyard setting, rustic barn, very well maintained grounds, and everyone there was very easy to work with. It is a very versatile venue that you can really set — up however you want; what we did was had the ceremony inside the barn with the big doors open on each end, gorgeous views out into the vineyard and a nice breeze blowing through which gave it a great indoor/outdoor feel. We then had cocktail hour outside under the trees which provided some nice shade. We had our dinner out on the beautiful lawn area and then we had the cake, music and dancing back inside the barn under the amazing chandelier! Oh and did I mention how good Amador Cellars wine is! It was an absolutely perfect wedding.

I made an account as soon as I saw that this page was created because I can’t give enough praise to Amador Cellars for making our wedding wonderful. We were married here last September as the first wedding to be held at the barn and have been to two other weddings at the winery since. It has been the perfect venue every time! The winery landscape is so versatile and Larry and Linda are wonderful to work with and so accommodating, all three of the weddings have been unique to the couple. It turned out to be pouring rain on our wedding day and the barn was such a lifesaver! The ceremony and reception were scheduled to be outside on the gorgeous lawn area, but we had to improvise and move it all inside. The ceremony turned out better than I could have ever hoped for. The barn made for an intimate setting and we felt so cozy and loved surrounded by our friends and family with the rain hitting the barn’s metal roof. We rented a last minute tent and set it up right outside of the barn to make space for all of our guests to eat and mingle during the dining hour while we are off taking rainy sunset photos on the beautiful property. If you’re looking for an affordable, family owned venue with great wine to boot, I can’t recommend Amador Cellars enough! Larry and Linda were incredible, they really put so much heart into making our big day special. The barn was built by Larry himself and it comes furnished with two STUNNING handmade farm tables that you can use however you want. Linda decorated the bridal room in the barn with an elegant couch and full length mirror for you and your bridesmaids to use while getting ready. I can’t forget to mention the crystal chandelier hanging in the barn that adds just the right amount of glamour to the barn setting. Go see this venue for yourself and meet this lovely family, you will not be disappointed!
