I can’t begin to tell you how much I hate this company. During the peak of the holiday season, Comcast GAVEAWAY our home phone number not just once, but TWICE. Friends, family, and loved ones trying to call us to wish us happy holidays got another family. We called to fix the problem only to have it happen again a week later. Worthless customer«service» with not enough brains to even blow themselves up.

Seems there’s not one person that has the intelligence and the art of customer retention and the skill set to negotiate. Seriously — I understand why no one likes Comcast or Wow and everyone is streaming. Cheaper and don’t have to deal with moronic idiots that do not know how to have respect for their customers –WHOPAYTHEIRSALARY!

Okay, this review is not about Comcast overall(one star for the 8th circle of hell that is their online and phone based«customer service») but for this specific XFINITY location. We upgraded our cable and internet packages(more stuff for less $$…for now) a couple of weeks ago and every experience since has been excruciating. I’m talking several phone calls with people who told us conflicting information, the wrong equipment sent to us twice, corrected orders that(when we double checked a few hours later) were not actually placed, etc. I got so fed up and had so many random cable boxes to return that I just decided to go into the store in person to return them and hopefully get some help from a human being I can actually interact with. Based on the previously mentioned terrible experiences I braced myself for a fairly rough visit to the XFINITY Store. When I checked in my comment was a simple, «FML.» If that tells you anything. Luckily it was surprisingly not awful! Sure, I had very low expectations but it was actually fairly easy and painless. It pains me to give Comcast anything above 1 star after the couple of weeks we’ve had(following a few months of terrible internet service) but I have to give credit where credit is due. I was 9th in line when I signed in so I did have to wait a bit but the«line» moved fairly quickly and there was a comfortable waiting area(with a big screen TV showing a football game. Not being super into football I just fiddled on my phone but did appreciate the comfy chair). They even have some stuff for kids set out(toys and the like) to occupy an little ones. Wasn’t the worst place to bide my time. After about 10 minutes I was finally called and the woman who helped me was awesome. I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out. I returned my boxes, explained to her what I needed, and she grabbed it for me with no problems(contrary to what two phone CSRs told me, you CAN pick up X1 boxes at an XFINITY store, FYI). I texted my husband and told him how smooth it went and his response was«WOW.» Yep, shocking to get good customer service from them finally but I was grateful. At home I set the new box up and it got going quickly. Unfortunately in the few days since we’ve found that the box keeps freezing and the remote isn’t paring with our TV so I’ll probably have to go back to exchange them(not the fault of the workers there but on Comcast’s shoddiness on a whole) but at least I know that I can get good help here so I’m not dreading it as I normally would.

Liars Liars… Dealing with Comcast reps is all talk and no action. «Yes, we won’t charge you for the visit when the tech said he wouldn’t charge you. Yes, we will take off the new cable box and shipping charge from your bill(that you didn’t even request, for an HD receiver when you don’t get HD!). But you still better pay the bill or there will be a late charge. It will be fixed on your next bill, we promise.» And then it takes a second visit, and a third visit, and each time they say it will be fixed next month. And calling on the phone is even worse. How many people just give up and evil Comcast keeps the money?! I hate you, Comcast. You deserve to go down in flames in the internet revolution.

Worst company. I downgraded my services and was given attitude about it. Wasn’t told about any of the details for my new services or how they would even work(tv boxes and whatnot). I think being a rude jerk is a prerequisite to working here.

Worse costumer service, they r thieves charge extra for no good reason and tell you that they will give u credit back in 24 hours, that’s what they told me 4 times alrdy for the past few weeks, they just playing the waiting game for the 30 days return would pass they you won’t have a choice but keep it or pay… DONOTGOWITHCOMCAST, ANYONEELSEBUTTHEM. going to get the equipment and return it, wow maybe bit more expensive but they won’t try to steal
