Checked in here 6÷24÷16 just a very basic experience. Room was clean but had a strong deodorizer smell. TV was old no HD wifi was bad at best. Did have a fridge and mic they were clean so that’s a plus. I get tired of this you get what you pay for. Since when was 79.00 a night meant to be subpar? I would only recommend this place if you have low standards.

You really do get what you pay for and I’m OK with that. This hotel cost about half of what a normal hotel would have cost when I stayed there in June. The room was run down and could have used major renovations but how are you supposed to have a cheap hotel if you are always renovating? The hotel Wi-Fi had a nice strong signal in my room but was about as far from High-Speed as Pocatello is from Paris. Breakfast was crowded, limited, and not extremely tasty but they did have orange juice and cranberry juice(which came out of the machine still slightly concentrated and needed a bit of water mixed in to be approximately like juice). The A/C worked great and everything was about as clean as could be expected. Don’t go here expecting luxury, but if you just need a place to sleep, I imagine this is the best bang for the buck in Pocatello. I’d go back.

I’m on my 2nd night here, for the state wrestling tournament. For full disclosure, I need to say I booked this room on expedia and did so because it was economical. $ 79/night. Not sure if some rooms are better than what I’m in but am curious if there are, or if they are all like mine, which is ok at best. The hotel is old and needs a major overhaul. That aside, issues within the room need to be addressed. The GFI breaker, nextto the sink, was not working, but when I called the front desk, they addressed it right away by bringing us an extension cord, and the next day it was working. The toilet flapper was leaking or the float was not working properly, so I enjoyed the sound of the tank partially re-filling every 10 minutes, all night. I asked them to look into it twice but still hear it tonight. Hope I can sleep through it, but am not counting on it. The headboard was loose and so if I moved in my sleep I had to hear it hit the wall. And lastly, the mattress. …not sure what the deal was but my back hurt this a.m. probably a combo of a bad night’s rest from the toilet sound, the heater turning on every 3 minutes, and the headboard issue. The good news is, I’m so tired from last night, i hope to sleep better tonight. If not for the staff, and there attempt to make the best of a bad thing, I would have only given 1 star.

At first look from the outside it looks kinda weird. Older building. We rented a room for a really good price and there’s free breakfast 6−9am. The rooms were surprisingly clean and the bathroom is neat. The towels are soft and the hand soap smells pretty. The ac they have packs a punch and you have a cute little desk for eating or laptop. It’s located next to a lot of food places and pretty much everything. I’m pretty happy and it think it’s worth the money.

I was very happy with this hotel. Great friendly service, clean and very good rates. I would definitely return. Plus, ISU is on the other side of the street. Very convenient.

The staff was really nice when we got here. Straightforward and relatively cheap. They promised cookies that we never got, and the breakfast was alright. My only complaints are that the morning staff were not as nice and were a bit rude when we asked for an extra blanket. Also, the room had the lingering scent of chlorine which was a bit unpleasant and gave me a headache in the night. All in all, you get what you pay for.

Great place to stay for pet friendly on a budget. Pet fee is 10 bucks not too bad. Two females traveling alone and we felt safe in this neighborhood. Went to the Elmer’s diner next door for a late dinner, good food staff was friendly despite us coming in 10 minutes prior to them closing. Rooms clean and have everything you need. Free continental breakfast and cookies for guests. Only complaints are thin blankets and not sufficient pillows, tv remote didn’t work, and heater/air conditioner a bit noisy. Would stay here again!

Sometimes you get what you pay for. But you can’t beat a $ 50 a night room. While the immediate surrounding neighborhood seems nice, I think some of the guests here are more suspect. The room had a weird smell and needed to be aired out. But my bed was nice and comfortable and that is all that really matters. I wouldn’t stay here for a long period of time but if I am crashing for a night this will do.

I’m sad to write this review because I’ve stayed at this Rodeway Inn a few times and always gotten good service. They are pet and dollar friendly with a decent breakfast of bagels, coffee, cereal and waffles. Place is clean and convenient to the university and the I-15 Freeway. So why the one star? New procedure for making a copy of your drivers license when presenting a credit card. This might be illegal and is certainly a violation of the merchant agreement with the credit card companies. More imortantly a HUGE problem for those of us concerned with identitty theft. Shame on you Rodeway Inn Pocatello.
