I was staying at the Point Arena Lighthouse and was searching for breakfast. I stopped in this café and was pleasantly surprised. I had the biscuits and gravy with some scrambled eggs and hash browns. The homemade sausage gravy was outstanding! I suggest everybody try the gravy if you are in the Point Arena area.

This is a cute family owned café. The staff is quick. The food was delish. There was a lot more mayo than we expected on the tacos but it was still good. The salad was fresh and the homemade dressing made it spectacular. Great place !

I love coming here for breaskfast. I enjoy cooking, but this place is so delcious and quick it’s hard to turn it down. We live 10 minutes away and I come here as often as I can. They are quick, friendly and delcious. I cannot ever get enough of the hash browns and my bofriend has trouble every time between the chicken fried steak and eggs, or the eggs Benedict when that’s an option(weekends only I think?, come early because they have run out before :) I love the feeling of this place, the décor is terrible but that gives it some of its charm. Who cars how it looks on the inside or outside of that small building/house/café, the food is the best in the area!

Hungry after a hike, we came to Rollerville Café for lunch based on the Unilocal reviews. We ordered the fish tacos and the apple burger. Fish tacos were greasy, the cabbage slaw topping was good, but way too much in proportion to the fish. Apple burger was bland, needed salt and pepper. The«apple» in the apple burger was diced apple pieces mixed in the patty. Didn’t do much for taste or flavor. Portion size was good. Overall average food.

There is not much in regards to restaurants in Point Arena. We were quite happy with what we found here. We came in for lunch with two small children. Its a little small so be prepared to sit close to everyone. I started with the Whaler Sandwich, its fried cod with all the fixins of a burger. It had the biggest hunk of melted cheese. I loved it! It was very good. More than little ol me could eat but such a great unique sandwich. I also had a cup of their homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. I loved it. Very hearty and very homey tasting. It was great on the cold day we came in to eat. Service is very nice. Its just so nice here anyway. We had a great experience. Id love to come back to try breakfast one day. Or come in more of the summer months rather than the chilly spring when we were here.

Ordered Denver Omlete, huge chunks of tasty ham, egg whites available, normal regular store bought bread. Good portions. Shredded hashbrowns were cooked well, dark brown on the outside and crunchy. Great cook. They were willing to serve us breakfast during lunch(it was slow). I would eat here again. Coffee was good too, not earth shattering, but hot and my mug never got past half… good service.

Portion control! The portions here were huge and well cooked. Hashbrowns werent mushy. They kept their shape and were slightly crispy.

Very good omelets here. You can eat inside or if weather permits outside. This place has a very down to earth home-like feel to it. The staff was very friendly and provides quick and efficient service. I eat here everytime I’m in the area, and will be back.

Though you might think it’s a bit pricey for a café, the food is so good that it makes up for it. The fish and chips is excellent. Perhaps the fries could be crispier but that is it. The beer is cold, and the place is cozy. We have had food in several places in the area but this is my favorite.

Stayed at the Point Arena Lighthouse lodge for three nights, and ate here the morning we left. I wish we would have tried it out, earlier. We were there for breakfast at 11 a.m., and the waitress was extremely friendly, efficient, and professional, all while handling multiple tables. We never had to wait for anything or chase her down. She was completely on top of it. For breakfast, we both had one of the specials, which was the chipmunk omelette. Basically, it was the monkey omelette with chicken apple sausage added, and it was DELICIOUS, not to mention it was large enough to feed at least two people, maybe three. The hash browns that came with it were even tastier and hands down the best I’ve ever had, and I’m fairly picky about my hash browns. Will certainly be back here on the next trip up Pacific Coast Highway.

Excellent! spicy twist on traditional coastal food. Very original taste. We ordered Angus burger(all of their beef is local farm raised and grass fed), I asked to toss in some jalapeños and it indeed came with hefty bunch of fried jalapeños — loved it! The coleslaw was super tasty. We also ordered The Whaler — Fried cod on sesame bread, classic fries, huge portion! The place was a bit cramped, but thats what adds the flavor to the experience. Will return!

Wasn’t as great as the ratings and neither was the service. Got here at 11:50a, waitress came back with different menus saying we couldn’t order breakfast anymore because we didn’t place it before noon. Pretty disappointed in cook’s flexibility for their patrons. I’m updating this 15 min later because the owner apparently is the waitress. And now refusing to wait on us because of the menu incident. I wouldn’t be surprised if she told the cook to spit in our food.

We stopped for dinner on a Friday evening. Clam chowder and chai shake were very good– highly recommend! However, the service was horrendous. The entrees were edible but not tasty. Everything was overpriced. I had the shrimp tempura which was overcooked and came with store-bought fries. The boyfriend got their special burger which was far from special. $ 50 for 2 people for a less than average meal.

Stayed at the resort for the weekend. The breakfast was really good. Best part was the biscuit & gravy, it was delicious. Pretty sure it was hamburger gravy, but it had a rich full flavor. Dinner was frickles, fried pickle, they were OK, if you like fried breading. The dipping sauces were good. Had prime rib, it was overlooked, but a great au jus made up for that. Rosemary mashed potatoes were tasty, used the au jus for gravy. Service overall was passable, two young ladies were working their butts off.

We stopped here on the way to the bay area. This place is really quiet and looks like it’s family run. The ambience is very casual and the food is good. Although a little pricey, they pack in a lot of meat for the buck. We ordered orange juice, veggie sandwich and a tuna sandwich. The Tuna S/w was very meaty and filling, will definitely try other stuff if I ever cross them again.

Still delivering some of the tastiest food served by super friendly and nice people in the area! We’ve been regulars for over three years and have never had a disappointing meal. Favorites are: corned beef hash(my personal favorite), Popeye omelet, monkey omelet(vegetarian), French toast, pancakes(huge!), eggs benedict, fish tacos, fish and chips, any style hamburger, chicken pesto sandwich(another favorite), Reuben sandwich… well, basically anything on the menu! They also have some daily specials which are worth a try! If you like fresh grilled jalapenos added to an omelet or hamburger, just ask. The restaurant is run by a family… mom, son and daughters and sometimes the grandmother. It is the antithesis of a chain restaurant… Rollerville is cozy, nicely rustic with really great food! Service is friendly and coffee cups kept filled. Hours are 8AM to 2PM most days except Friday and Saturday when they remain open to serve dinner.

Great little place tucked away on the road to the Point Arena Lighthouse. It street of struck me as a «hole in the wall» when I first walked in, but the staff was very friendly, and the food was awesome! From the Frickles(fried pickles) appetizer, to the fish tacos the food and service were outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling down Hwy 1.

Breakfast was above average — nothing special. Pancakes were really thick if you like that kind of thing, but also a little burnt. Kids weren’t big on the flattened out sausage! Location is perfect for a visit to the lighthouse though, which was really fun! Good for a stop if you are pairing up with the lighthouse.

Friendly and prompt service at the Rollerville café. We were heading home for a quick camping trip and wanted to grab lunch. We shared a chai milkshake(yummy!) and got a couple of sandwich plates with fries. Everything was tasty. Good, typical café food. A good bet if you are traveling up the coast and want a spot for a quick lunch.
