We had dinner in the beautiful dinning hallow had a wonderful student server. Her name was Naomi and the is from TN. I had the pork Pomodoros and hubs had the mestloaf. It was amazing. Their cinnamon cranberry biscuits with whipped butter and their own apple butter was fantastic. My husband had a wheat roll which he said was even better than the biscuits. Everything was student led and it was really good. The campus makes me want to be a student at the College of the Ozarks, it is really beautiful.

1st place we have visited to ask up front if anybody has any food allergies, other than Disney. The staff actually works for pay for their tuition, committed to high level of service. Clean, courteous, and accommodating to food allergy. Would highly recommend.

If I could give the Keeter Center a 5+ I definitely would! My husband and I visited on Prime Rib night and it was AMAZING! The service was wonderful as well as the food. We had catfish cakes for an appetizer, I was skeptical when we ordered, but they were delicious. We got homemade ice cream for dessert as well as a chocolate cake cooked in a cast iron skillet. This is definitely our new place to go when we visit Branson. The price was very reasonable considering what we would normally pay for a meal like this anywhere else. Great experience!

We stayed here in the first night of our honeymoon, and everything was absolutely perfect! Excellent service, exceptional hospitality, delicious food, and countless little thoughtful details made this one of our best hotel stays ever.

So I’m reviewing the Hotel portion of Keeter Center– but I can’t seem to find it on Unilocal… We LOVED our stay in this niche Hotel! A Very Rustic and Log Cabin-y. Décor is a upscale lodge feel with antlers, wood, hammered copper accents. The attention to detail was what charmed us the most. From the REALKEY(wow!), to the turn down service– where we found the fireplace on, water bottles/glass by the bed, robes laid out, chocolates, a card with weather for tomorrow with a prayer inside, fresh ground coffee for the morning(they’d called several weeks early to see what type roast we wanted) and best of all huge, delicious cookies and chilled milk waiting for us!(they have their own dairy barn and have produced all of these things) The whole lobby smelled like cookies-yum. Breakfast is served in the suite in the morning– complete with flower in a vase to go with it. There is a kitchen in the room. I’d reserved a Two Queen room and for some reason, they bumped us up to the Prime Minister’s Suite. It. Was. Awesome. That massage chair was the hit of the suite! I think it was bigger than what I would’ve gotten, but the little perks are the same. We had a 50′ deck outside as well(I think the other would’ve had one too, just not as big) with a beautiful view. There was also free wifi and board games, WII games and movies you could check out for free. A nice touch. They even left a sweet note with my daughter’s stuffed animals(a poem) when refreshing the room. They had complementary granola bars(they make), as well as shortbread cookies and homemade chips. This is a small niche hotel(15 rooms, so fills up quickly-must reserve in advacne) run by the students of College of the Ozarks– they pay their tuition by working and graduate debt-free. Helping the students is just a side benefit of staying here. If you want a pool or workout room, this isn’t the place for you, as they do not have those things. But this is the perfect place to relax feel spoiled. The dining room looked beautiful– fire going– piano playing– lovely view and patio. We will definitely stay here again!

No reservation for Sunday brunch but when we called they said they take walk-ins. We arrived 20 minutes before they opened and sat almost immediately. The food was absolutely marvelous. Probably the best you will find in Branson for the money. The service was good, not outstanding but as good as any average restaurant. There was live piano music and a huge variety of food to choose from. Save room for dessert.

Great staff, great view, great food! If you have to wait for your table, you can walk around the beautiful campus… there is a truly lovely view past the chapel. I would fully recommend this restaurant!

Fancy service and food without the fancy price. High quality farm to table food. Definitely a foodies paradise. Home style foods kicked up to 5* restaurant quality. At lunch most of the people are dressed in shorts and t-shirts. But feels like a suit and tie establishment. I would come back weekly, if not daily when I’m in the area. The desserts looked to die for, but too full to try them this visit. I will be back, guaranteed.

Make that 3 times… the family voted to come for lunch before heading to the airport. Really great service and excellent food. Appreciate the wholesome family friendly environment!

We were really looking forward to our dinner at The Keeter Center located at the College of the Ozarks. The building itself was very a comfortable log cabin style building. It has a hotel, a bakery and gift shop in addition to the restaurant. The hostess was very friendly and professional. However, once we were seated we waited and waited for our waitress. The poor service continued through our entire dinner. Gladly the food was good. I started by ordering the Signature Smoked Tomato Soup. The texture was excellent, it was topped with basil cream and was super good. The hot, homemade rolls were served with Apple Butter — yummy! We were disappointed though that our salad arrived at the same time as my soup. We split a Butternut and Brie Fall Salad(don’t have the kitchen split it — a $ 4 up charge). The salad arrived without dressing and the Brie crotons. We had to ask the waitress two times for both. Even though they comped it on the bill, we should have waited so long for the dressing and crotons. I ordered the Catfish Almondine, it was at best ordinary. My wife ordered Pork Pomodoro, she loved it and it was a huge portion. I’m not sure we would go back. Our experience seemed to be out of the ordinary since so many guests were having a good time. For a college educational experience I was disappointed that there were no supervising instructors or anyone with outside restaurant experience in view. Someone should have coached our college student waitress about prompt service.

I don’t throw around 5 star ratings for anything but the best. This place was extraordinary. College kids doing their thing at the front of the house, but obviously someone in the kitchen knows what they’re doing. I had the smoked tomato soup, and my wife tasted it and immediately ordered her own portion. I’ve never seen her do that before, usually she’s content to eat her half of mine. We shared the stuffed artichoke hearts — Oh My! So glad a portion comes with 6, an even number. We would have had to fight for the odd one. Very nice presentation as well. The menu features pork raised on their own farm. I couldn’t resist that. The mashed taters were real, the gravy was thick and hot, and the pot roast my wife ordered was fork tender and seasoned perfectly. We wanted some of the home made ice cream for dessert, but honestly… we couldn’t have forced it down. Definitely next time. It was a weekday lunch, so we missed the piano player. That means we HAVE to go back.

The service here was simply the best. It is run and operated by current students at the College of the Ozarks(Hard Work U). And you can tell they work hard on food presentation as well. We visited during Thanksgiving and a lot of the time you have to get your reservation months in advance since it is so popular. The Keeter Center has an awesome log cabin feel to it and the atmosphere is great.

Keeter Center is quite the experience! They say it’s «Hard Work-U» and walking in on both Saturday for dinner and Sunday for brunch you had people in the lobby literally scrubbing the floors with a toothbrush. Service was great. Dinner on Saturday for me was better than the brunch experience on Sunday. But both were delicious. The 50⁄50(beef/pork) burger is pretty great. But everything pork related was stellar! Bacon, ham, the 50⁄50 paddy, but really the bacon. Did I mention how great the bacon was? Crispy Kale was a hit! The homemade potato chips were some of the best I’ve had. Price is kinda steep for Sunday brunch. But you get what you pay for. Piano player for brunch was a nice touch. We enjoyed playing what’s that tune during our visit Sunday. My least favorite(my partners favorite) was the theme song to(and I say it wrong on purpose) Downtown Abby.

It was packed with people the last time I was here. I really have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. The place looks classy but also feels homey at the same time, if that even makes sense. Our charming waiter pulled out my chair for me and that already won me over. He was extremely professional and friendly. He told us about the College of the Ozarks and we were thoroughly impressed. We were given warm rolls with butter and cinnamon apple spreads to start and they were very yummy. I ended up getting the Chicken and Smoked Mushroom Alfredo and it was AMAAAAZING. I finished it all, which was quite unexpected because I hardly ever finish my food. I had a delightful time there and there’s no doubt I’ll return the next time I’m in the area. This is the perfect place to visit with your loved one(s) for lunch/dinner. The Keeter Center will always have a special place in my heart.

I visited the College of the Ozarks, during a Veterans Day memorial, not knowing they were having a memorial celebration. The Veteran’s memorial is absolutely breath taking outside the Keeter Center. I didn’t think to make reservations for Dobyns, and when we got there, it was 2 – 3 hour wait. We did have ice cream from Nettie’s. Nettie’s is so cool. It is located in the Keeter Center. There are tables, a few outside of the iced cream shop. The ice cream is made from the milk from the dairy cows at the college. They hand make the waffle cones, and take it from me, get your ice cream in a waffle cone just to experience a hand made cone. From the bakery at Dobyns, I chose gooey butter cake. It wasn’t as gooey as the butter cake I had in St. Louis, but it was awesome cause the students make the items in the bakery. As for the gift shop, it was okay. It was so crowded, I didn’t have a chance to buy what I wanted to buy… fruit cake and strawberry preserves. All in all, the college of the Ozarks is worth the stop. And it starts at the Keeter Center.

Traveling for work, as usual, and I was looking for a nice steak when I ran across this little gem! It seemed off the beaten path and I was feeling adventurous so I stopped in… And I was not disappointed! I had their seafood special which was a little like a gumbo but my goodness was it fantastic! Not to mention the bread and homemade apple butter(I walked out with a jar of that stuff). I had such an enjoyable, perfectly portioned meal I treated myself to dessert; pumpkin bruleé! Very satisfying and not too sweet. I was torn between that and a scoop of their homemade ice cream. I have no doubts I made a wrong decision but I might have to go back to make sure ! The service was exceptional! The students at university of the ozarks cooks and waits the tables. My waitress, Shelly, was very attentive and nice! I will be back!

This is a culinary restaurant for the student take class here. It belongs to College of Ozarks that serve the people of Branson and visitor like me. Last time we’re here did not have an opportunity to try it. We make our plans and we were not disappoint for our attempt. Please call for reservation. It get full easy. The restaurant is part of the student program for the culinary student and all other student who work there to complete their 15 hours work study. If you can admitted to this school, the student fees is free but there is a 15 hours work study is required. I support the school effort for the free tuition. Tonight I have the pork pomodoro. The pork come from the campus raise pig with medallion cut. It is grilled on the flat plate with seasoning. It is very tasty. It is top with the mix of pesto, garlic and tomato sauce. I like this dish. The pre-meal items include the fresh bread with apple cinnamon and butter. Yum. It serve on cute small iron fried pan. Service is supper to the detail for satisfy the customer. I will come back when I visit Branson again.

Hands down this is my favorite place to eat in the Branson area. I usually eat lunch here. The Vegetable Garden Sandwich with sweet potato fries is my favorite. The ingredients are so fresh. The dish is full of flavor and texture. Simple, natural ingredients — so delicious! Sunday brunch at The Keeter Center is special, especially during the Christmas holiday season. The choices are overwhelming — savory breakfast items, baked goods, ham, chicken, fish, pasta and so many delicious sides. Be sure to make a reservation. My only negative is service can be a little slow when they are busy but this is offset by the friendliness of the staff.
