Being re-named Beach Pub, I believe. New ownership(same people of Arugula restaurant upstairs in the same hotel). The gentleman running this bar is young and has terrific ideas. He really wants to promote his business and is finding creative ways to make this easily overlooked bar more of a destination. With a captive audience in the hotel where this bar is, I see no reason why with a little effort he can’t make this happen. Very handsome bar although easy to miss – you have to venture past the lobby down a hallway, across from the indoor pool. Our bartender made me a terrific rum cocktail. Best drink of the week I had for sure. Some very cool microbrews ONTAP! They let me taste some beer with a strong note of grapefruit and it was delicious. Bar menu looks great although didn’t sample any this time round. This bar is the engine that could. Close to the beach but far enough away that you can avoid the 20-something’s acting stupid at the tiki bar. Come try it. you’ll like it. especially if you’re staying at the White Sands or are too old for Martell’s(like me). :)

Little hidden gem. Good spot to sneak off the beach and hit on a scorching day. Good beers on tap. Not a cheap place but recommended. Bartenders looking for action as the place is never crowded
