I will not do business here , they lied to me and things were wrong with my vehicle . I came here for years and they lied to me about things. I will never do business again here. One star they get because of there mechanics lieing

Hello I am writing this review due to bringing my wife’s car and my daughters car here never had a problem until I brought my car here . I brought it here and things were broken , windshield cracked , oil and grease all over my radiator. I’ve bein giving business for a long time and I would never ever see a dramatic change in the car service. I got lied to and parts changed an charged a lot of money for little labor with parts. I found a mechanic where I live in Manchester Nj and he is blunt and honest to me and my kids . I am done doing service here and giving it to someone I know that is near me that make sure the car is done right to make sure me, my wife and kids are safe!!!!!!!

I prefer not to business with this shop anymore because I had a run around with my car things getting fixed when it did not need to be done , and coming back days a week coming from jackson to pt pleasant . I spent a lot of money on my car here and had the run around things said to me , engine problems also. I would never do business with them again, I have a mechanic now that tells the truth to me when something is not working , or defective. It really sucks everything I did with business here and now I can’t trust the mechancs here anymore .

My daughter and I have brought our vehicles to Kevin at Smalley Automotive for several years now and greatly appreciate the quality in service afforded us. Highly recommended for integrity in workmanship! We, too, have older vehicles we expect to run for years to come and we’d never even think of going elsewhere. Luckily, we have a neighbor who has gone to Smalley for multiple years, so we know we won’t get fleeced.

We were customers of the previous owner and Kevin Smalley has retained the local honest shop reputation. He is always personable and straight forward with his assessment of work that is critical to be done — and at other times «nice to have done». We run our vehicles to the ground and we appreciate having a local shop that we highly trust who doesn’t charge outrageous costs. They are a very busy shop so we typically call ahead by a day or two — unless an emergency.

For about 17 years I have been using the Smalley Automotive. From the previous owner to the present owner the quality of work has not change. Because of the age of my vehicles they have suggested things to save me money.

Start ed going there when it was Dave s always very honest and fair. Nothing Haas changed with the new owner. fair quality work good prices…

I tried out Smalley Automotive at the request of my neighbor, and was glad I did. To find a truly honest mechanic with fair prices is a total rarity. Everything from the way you get treated, to the quality of service you get, is perhaps the best I’ve ever seen.
This shop is a participant with Tire Rack, so, you can have new tires ordered and shipped here relatively quickly. All of their prices, even down to the little insignificant things such as tire disposal, are competitive and far less than anything I’ve seen at any other shop.
It’s a place where you’ll want to be there first thing in the morning (8 AM) to get a chance at getting your car serviced. Otherwise, the shop will be too busy, as they have quite a bit of business at all times.
