It was OK. The cheese used in the pizza does not really melt well. Buffalo chicken pizza was very bland. Tomato and mozzarella salad was missing basil. I can say I tried it… Not 5 stars at all.

As a public service, I want to set the record straight so people, seeing all 5 star ratings, don’t come here expecting great food. No way is this a 5 star joint, or even 3. Had pizza here once and a calzone another time. The food is borderline edible and that’s about it. The calzone had under cooked dough with cheap flavourless cheese and the pizza was forgetable.
I see reviews mentioning «value». If that’s a code word for cheap, maybe they have a point. But IMO, value also should indicate quality. Something sorely missing here.

Maria’s Pizza is always a friendly option when deciding on getting delivery or take out. The pizzas and dinners (usually chicken or shrimp francaise or spaghetti with meatballs) are a great value when compared with other places. The prices are a tad lower and the food is usually on par or better than local pizza places. Juan and his staff are an absolute pleasure to deal with! (Value Added!) My son even knows the delivery guy (can’t miss him, only pizza delivery guy i know that drives a Mercedes C Class) and gives him a high five when he brings our food. Great value on food and more importantly, GREAT people! This one is a no-​brainer… Shenster APPROVED!

There is no possible way to beat the value of this place. The amount of food you get, versus the amount you pay, fantastically favorable. Their pizza is great, right up there with the best in the area, and their sandwich concoctions are memorable and delicious. I mean who thinks about putting some of the things they put together, together?!
$ 5 for a grilled chicken caesar salad?! We ain’t talking about no side salad, it’s a full salad. The same concept is applied to just about everything on their menu. Low cost, great food. Highly recommended.

In a strip mall across from advanced auto parts, lies the greatest pizza place in town. The pizza is delicious and there are many sandwich options as well such as chicken parm sandwiches. Although you Can get great pizza mostly anywhere along the jersey shore, Maria’s is inexpensive compared to most and the staff is the friendliest. To top it all off they have free delivery as well. I always feel satisfied after eating there.
