A hundred stars! Delightful Odds & Herbs offers a surprising variety of seedlings, flowers, herbs, wreaths, baskets, planters, and other garden essentials. Though not big in scale, their greenhouses are packed with healthy plants and eclectic curiosities. Best of all, the owners are there to provide expert planting advice and great conversation. Perfect for serious gardeners and casual browsers alike, or the occasional cyclist in need of a rest stop. They are only open in the spring (through the end of June) but you can catch up with them at the Fryeburg and Common Ground fairs in the fall. Exceptionally nice folks … you can feel great about supporting their business!

Our yearly visit to Delight Odds and Herbs in Poland, Maine is NEVER disappointing. The grounds are magical, antique wagon wheels, rain barrels of water, New England thumb back chairs as platforms to display potted flowers, everything to fill the eyes. Not to mention the flowers of all types. The nose is full of the blooming flowers, too.
The service is top rate. The owners are willing to arrange planters in any variety you choose. The plants are hearty. I am a repeat customer and will remain so.
