Gets super crowded during the beginning weeks of each quarter but dies down fast. Any other time there is guaranteed to be no line and not many people in there. I rarely see people buy any clothing, mostly people come in to buy random school supplies such as scantrons or pens. Everything is a bit overpriced as usual but what can you do. I dont usually see people come here for food neither. Friendly staff and people are always willing to help you out.

I really like the Bookstore. I dont normally buy my textbooks here, but if I have a reading assignment and havent recieved my books yet I come here to read. The Bronco Gear is really nice I have a sweater and flashlight/pointer that my mom bought me. I had bought a cup and Cal Poly chocolates. The chocolates are pretty amazing! I had recently bought a movie here for about $ 3. There is an assortment of movies for $ 5 or less including Blue Ray. The movie I bought was Music and Lyrics a really cute romantic comedy. I’ve seen some other really good and popular movies like Harry Potter and Twilight. Also, if you are looking for a job on campus I heard the hours here are really flexible and you dont have a minimun amount of hours you need to work. Hoping to get a job here. You can purchase scantrons here as well as other suppiles and snacks. The only textbooks I have bought here so far is my BIO111 Lab book, my code for a computer class, and my statistics book(?). Overall a great service for students.

The books are expensive and it is a huge hassle to return anything(During the first week of the quarter, it can take up to an 40 minutes to return something). While it is convenient that it is located on campus, I try to save money by going to Amazon for my textbooks. Overall, the bookstore has good employees, and organized neatly. Most of their products are good quality, especially if you need a boning knife for a class(btw, that is a real name for a knife) but sometimes you just don’t have the money to spend on convenience.

I’ve been a bit lazy about updating… but I think I’ll try to get back at it, since I can’t sleep. The Bronco Bookstore is located right beside the Bronco Student Center(BSC) and the University Suites. When walking into the building from the outside, during the summer it’s amazing because the building is constantly being air circulated with the cool breeze of the AC. The bookstore is easy to find, and when walking in there is always somebody to greet you. I am a student from CSU Northridge, and when coming to the Bronco Bookstore, I was a bit taken back to see how small it is, compared to other schools I have been to. The nice thing about this bookstore in particular is that their prized possessions of clothing apparel definitely catches your eye when walking by. As I mentioned before, I’m not even a Bronco student, but the designs are pretty neat, especially since they specialize within different majors and departments. The downstairs mostly consists of clothing, little knick knacks to stock up on, electronics(iPads, Macbooks, PC’s, etc), as well as most Alumni Association apparel and gadgets. The upstairs mostly consists of textbooks and some leisurely reading books. It’s pretty modern up there, and downstairs is a bit more cozy. For the most part, most of the staff is friendly. I’ve came in here a few times just to kill time, and everyone is pretty nice. When my boyfriend had to stop inside to pick up some books, some of the staff even recommended him different sources of where he can go to get cheaper books, and recommended the more cost efficient option for him. I thought that was great! Most places seem to just want your money, and don’t care if they suck out $ 400/quarter from you from books alone. When my boyfriend came back again to pick up his cap & gown distribution as well as picking up some little last minute things before his graduation, even though everything was a bit frantic as seniors were passing by and swooping up some things, the staff was still very patient and friendly to us. As we were leaving, everyone also congratulated us(haha… they thought I was a student, I guess I look the part). This is definitely one of the cleaner bookstores I’ve came across, and definitely had a great staff. I would definitely come back.
