The wonton soup is good! I usually get the bowl because it’s a good amount of food. The two item combo has just too much food for me. My husband and I recently ordered food for our daughter’s first birthday party from China Wok. We got a large pan of half chow mein and half fried rice, smaller pans of broccoli beef, vegetable shrimp, and teriyaki chicken. The food was ready on time and they even helped us carry our food to our car. The price was reasonable and a nice change from pizza. Our party of 25 people finished most of the food. We ordered more food than we thought we needed. Thanks China Wok!

First time here and I was like wow amazing food! If I had to compare it to Panda Express, I like this place better. The food here is fresh and hot. It is also authentic. I will definitely come back!

My favorite place for Chinese food. Love everything they have specially their vegetable egg rolls. Have been going to this place for 15 years with different ownership and the owners now are my favorite. They treat everyone with respect and always trying to please you. For me there is no place that can compete with their size of servings, taste of food and specially prices.

This place is a hidden gem tucked away in a plaza alongside with Burger King, Pomona Donut, etc. It’s located in a ghetto area and you’ll most likely run into homeless people asking you for some spare change. Don’t let that startle you from coming here cause the food is pretty decent. The owners are super friendly and they pack on the food to the brim of the box. You can get a 2 item combo for under $ 6 with tax! That’s $ 1 – 2 cheaper than most Chinese fast food spots out there! My favorites are the bbq pork and mushroom chicken. It seems like everybody and their mama loves orange chicken but I rarely order that at any place. I just think it’s overrated and there’s so much better choices to choose from. That’s just me though. Oh yeah the hot & sour soup, which is made to order is bomb and it’s perfect for a cold day or if you’re feeling under the weather.

Prices are good. Boba is BOGO which is good. However the food is too greasy especially the fried rice! Kung power chicken was dry. Either way good size portion for great prices. If you on a budget and hungry come here!

I love this place. I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews. As a broke college student, China Wok has kept me well fed throughout the few years I have been here. There aren’t many clear pictures on here displaying the prices, but the pricing here is near half of what you would pay at Panda Express and the owners fill your box to the brim — many times they can’t even close the box and just tie the bag down on it so that it holds. I have been here more times than I can count and the owners surely recognize me as we always engage in a nice conversation while I order, so my opinion of their service may be a bit biased, but they make me feel at home nonetheless. The food is well worth it for what you pay. Decent sized selection and they are quick to restock if an entrée you want is empty. Although I should note that their chow mein and fried rice are a bit greasy(ordering white rice is fine though). Something that stood out to me was how flavorful their Thai Tea is. It rivals Thai Tea that you would order at a standard boba shop.

Just moved to the area so I thought is give this little joint a try. Initial walk in I was just stared at. not really friendly, but not many chinese food spots are in my honest opinion so it was fine with me. Ordered half chowmein and half teriyaki, but he only put teriyaki on one small spot and left the other area empty. first for me since most fill it up. anyways food was decent. I also ordered two milk teas. Half way home I noticed the bag holding my two milk teas was leaking. One cup had a huge hole in it and was leaking. Food decent Milk tea delicious just wish my second drink didn’t leak everywhere. Boba not that great old in my opinion

The food are very great deal! The system is just like at panda express, Choose the side dish(chow mein, fried rice, or half and half), and choose how many entrees do you want. I bought combo 2 with 2 entrees for less than $ 5! The problem is, the quality of the food is not that good. There was very few meat inside the wonton, there was very few meat on the orange chicken(only the flour coating). The only thing that I’m really satisfied was the buy 1 get 1 free boba drink for $ 3.50

If you’re low on cash and craving Chinese food, this is the spot for you. The service is friendly, and the food is good. However, I do not recommend eating there. It’s a small place.

I have to admit that I’m surprised with the positive feedback for this hole in the wall. Most other Chinese restaurants, in Pomona, are struggling to keep a 3 star rating. I do have to admit that this place does sell Chinese food, for a great price. But the food itself is nothing to brag about. Their sides are full of grease and their rice/noodles are stale tasting. But regardless of my initial instincts, I bought a lunch special anyway… well long story short, I got a touch of the stomach flu. Prices are up to par, but the food has got to change!

Best place to come to for Chinese fast food, service is great along with the price of their combos. They also fill the food up beyond the container, so you’re basically two meals for the price of one

One of the best Chinese food places in Pomona! Always greeting an be pretty quick service. Most of the times they pack your box up if not sorry for you. Great price, great food, and really good. Although it is a small place to eat it ain’t bad!

Better than panda express in terms of price, quantity and quality. They serve boba too!

Sometimes, we all have to just try places out that. However, if you’re reading this review… stay away from here. The food wasn’t good at all, and I doubt it will ever be really good. It literally made me and my wife sick, and we’ve had plenty of Chinese food, and this wasn’t good or even average. It was just disgusting. Stay away!!!

I found this little starving leaving the LA county Fair. It was only 6 minutes away in a small shopping center. The food was super tasty and surprisingly cheap for the large portions. We got 3 one item combos and a shrimp fried rice a side of orange chicken 4 egg rolls and 4 bottle waters and our total was $ 24

If you’re looking for affordable Chinese food that is super yummy, this is the place for you. My friends & I love this place because the food is very very good. The staff are very friendly and the price for the food is affordable :) I’ve been coming here for about 4 years now and I must say, the place is still the same. The lady/owner knows me by name now and she gives me additional food for free. She’s so nice as well as all her staff. The place is a little bit small but you can just order takeout if you’re claustrophobic :)

Pretty good Chinese food and it’s cheap so you can’t beat that, I personally like the teriyaki chicken with fried rice for a little over 5 dollars. I will be back when I’m craving some Chinese food again

It’s a really small place, and I almost miss it. Chinese Fast food. They have some traditional dishes, like orange chicken, or some special ones, like the spicy chicken wings. Not too much choices, but the taste is good! And the price is also very reasonable. Love their Chow-mian with Thick noddles.

I was introduced to this place by friends over a year ago and at first I was little skeptical for the low price you pay and amount of food you get. No joke if you are starving, this place will hook it up for you and give you A LOT for less than $ 6! The owners of the restaurant are super friendly and every time I come with friends they immediately treat us like family because we come often when we have Chinese in mind. After coming here for a while they have given me time from time an additional item to try in addition with the 2 entrees I am getting for free! This is still one of my favorite places if I am on low budget and want fast Chinese food. Don’t expect the interior to have a fine dinning experience as many people just get their food to go, but still nice/clean enough to have lunch or dinner in.

If you want a gourmet experience then keep looking, this place is very simple however it’s clean and the food is very tasty. I didn’t find my food to be extremely greasy, I had the chow mien, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. I found it very tasty without being too salty. I also have a very sensitive stomach, not a problem my stomach didn’t even flinch. Servings are very generous, we took it to go and what was intended for two people(noodles and 2 sides) ended up feeding 4 people. I just moved to La Verne and I found Chinese food in the area to be very expensive, took a short drive to Pomona and found my Chinese food fix. I will return!
