This office is horrible. The staff is rude, which is something that could be overlooked since the doctors are friendly… however, it will only be an option to overlook if you actually see a doctor. Twice I was scheduled for a doctor, when in fact I saw a NP. The first time I requested a consult for and IUD, and was told I needed and appointment to check my cervix for size and position. I paid $ 50 copay, only to be seen by a NP, who explained in 5 minutes what the IUD was and told me to call back when I had my period. I was not measured, or even examined. On my second visit, which was for a routine annual exam, I was charged a co-pay and my insurance billed. My insurance covers all annual exams at 100% with no copay. When I asked them about this — they told me it wasn’t an annual and was billed as a consult for birth control. I explained that it was not — and that while we did talk about birth control, I was there for my annual. They then asked if I could«prove» that my last exam had been more than a year ago(since I am a newer patient there) and accused me of lying about needing an annual exam. This exam was also billed for a doctor, but was performed by a NP. My third visit, which was for a biopsy, required that I pay my copay and cost of the procedure up front. They had me pay, then took me to the exam room. At this time, they told me just to wait because the doctor wasn’t in the office and they didn’t know if she would be. In most offices, it is against practice to bill a patient if the doctor is not even present. At this time, I filed a complaint with my insurance company and the California Board of Medicine. On my last(and final) visit, I finally met my so called doctor who performed a procedure, but failed to tell me what to expect after the procedure. I called and left messages with no return answers. No I have been forced to wait several weeks to see a new doctor and start this hellish process again. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Aside from the billing and clinical issues, the office is dirty. The light next to the exam table had gunk caked onto it. There was dried spills on the foot of the exam table. I changed my own bed covering as the one on the bed was all crinkled and obviously used. THe window is missing blinds and you can see right out to the parking lot/highway. There was dust on the floor(shouldn’t this be cleaned every night?). No. Don’t go!

This review is for the practice and administration, not for any of the doctors. The receptionists range from rude to hostile. There is a note of despisement in every phone call, every check in. From the billing clerk to the follow up scheduler, everyone is very mean and treats you like you don’t deserve health care and are not good enough for their time to schedule you. I’ve never been to a place that sneered at me when I gave my insurance card and insisted on verifying it was real, and then got a supervisor to tell me I would be responsible for any charges(um, yeah, that’s generally how it works). Apparently, I look like I go trolling the black market for blue cross cards. I really get the feeling that if I ruptured an ovary in the waiting room the receptionists would give me a kick into the hallway, tell me to crawl across the street to the hospital, then slam the door on my face. That being said, I love my doctor and this review in no way is a comment on her competence or effectuality. She is a compassionate, fantastically intelligent, capable physician and skilled surgeon. I’m very grateful for her and that is why I continue to come to this practice.

This review has been long overdue. Went here for my first pregnancy in 2013 first couple visits were good. Staff was mostly rude, too busy, and didn’t show any care for the patients. The Dr that I had there seemed nice and seemed to care but failed to inform me about a lot of things. Being my first pregnancy I didn’t know what specific questions to ask so I left it all to her to inform me about what was going on. Every time I called they always had issue with my due date being that they had me ahead of schedule by two weeks. This went on up to my 6th month of pregnancy before the Dr changed it. I was the one that had to ask for the glucose testing for gestational diabetes because they thought I had pasted my time frame to take the test. I wasn’t able to take the second trimester screening either because of that too. Calling the office was hell! Always on wait and always in a rush to hang up. Was never told about my lab results when I did do any, never was told that I had hypertension until the day she scheduled me to be induced the next week. Post partum I was denied to be seen due to my insurance changing which I understand but didn’t even want to see me even if I was paying cash. I had horrible back pain for 8 months wasn’t even able to walk. Still denied. Pregnant! I suggest you go somewhere else because they are going to leave you in the dark. Also want to avoid Pomona Valley Hospital as well, that was another event that was hell.

I wouldn’t recommend it at all. I went there they took my co-pay had me fill out all this paperwork for my prenatal care and I get in the back and they say«well this will be your last visit with us. You’re high risk due to your weight so we can’t treat you.» Now I’m the same weight I was for my last pregnancy and wasn’t high risk but that’s not even what bothered me, if you knew his why take my money? Why bill my insurance? Then you don’t see a doc you see the nurse practitioner who ordered all these tests but it’s been almost 3 weeks and I have NONE of the results and neither does my new OB. I just called and they said«they’re likely in her box but she won’t be here until Wednesday.» Horrible service and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Office is small and very crowded. Pass!
