Had a mini asada tostada for approx. $ 5 and it was very flavorful. Didn’t look like the pictured tostada but it tasted yummy. I’d go again. Especially for lunch, fast service.

This place was horrible! First of all, not a lot of options on the menu. I love Mexican food! and this place was a total disappointment! The salsa I got had a MINT candy in it… like what? since when do they add mint candies to salsas? So my mom told the waitress and she LAUGHED looking over at the other waitress. It seemed like someone was eating a mint and accidentally dropped it in the salsa. GROSS! The food is so basic without flavor. My sister got a burrito and the salsa tasted like salsa straight out of a can. My tostada de camaron had absolutely no salt or anything.

Went for my mother in laws bday. Her and her husband come often. My husband and her got a molcajete which has a really good sauce. I got a cocktail which was OK. If I go back I’ll get a cooked plate rather than a fresh one

Excellent food and prices. We love the chile rieno burrito wet or dry both are great. Chilequiles are fantastic as are the cheese enchiladas. Beans and rice are also tops. Parking and seating are also good.

This places food was pretty solid. Portions are below satisfaction for the price. The wait to get my drinks, food, even freaking acknowledged was disappointing. Took them a cool minute to even realize I was waiting. Waited for over 25 – 30 minutes. But I mean the tacos I got were great and the rice was good but I’m sitting here saddened by the fact I am writing this over an empty plate. Plus the bathroom is hidden in the corner and its a maze to get there. –____–

I really liked this place! I went here for dinner last night. We came in around 6:45 pm. There was a party going on & karaōke. We luckily got a booth away from both. It was very loud! The food & service made up for it though. There are a lot of booths and a giant table for parties off to the side by the door, you can also order to go or eat outside. Prices are cheap and the portions are huge! I got the carne asada & shrimp, my grandma had the steak and garlic shrimp and my grandpa had the taco salad. Each meal was under $ 13 which for the portions is a major plus! However in his tack salad he didn’t have very much chicken. which is why I gave only 4 stars. The picture made it seem like he would get at least a decent amount. When he only got out about 4 small pieces and a lot of lettuce. My food was absolutely delicious! The waitress was fast and very sweet. Food came out very prompt and my chelada was made perfect! My only complaint is the music. I understand they have karaōke that’s awesome BUTITNEVER makes sense to me why it’s always so loud. No matter what Mexican food place it is. I will come back but I’ll make sure I come back when it’s not the weekend. to avoid the terribly loud singing by drunk patrons! ;) I’m all for karaōke but some people need to put the microphone down. Where is Kanye when you need him?

I fail to comprehend the high ratings for this place. It was one of the worst Mexican food experiences I’ve ever had. First, this place has little business calling itself«Las Margaritas» given that they don’t serve margaritas. A chelada, a beer margarita, and a wine cooler margaritas are NOT margaritas. No tequila for you, señorita. The music is appallingly loud, and there’s a spinning green light atop a speaker on the«stage» that blinds you if you’re sitting anywhere in the middle of the restaurants — but only every 2 seconds. The food was so-so, and the portions were small. First time I’ve ever left a Mexican restaurant without leftovers. I left with watery eyes from the blinding green lights, a headache from the cheap(but pricey) margarita, and a wish that I’d eaten anywhere else.

Well this spot is a regular spot for me! When I am hungry and feeling like some yummy mexican food you will find me phoning in my order here! It’s about 2 blocks away from my work so it is perfect! They’re always super nice and the food never disappoints! The last order I put in consisted of some Chicken Enchiladas and they were DELICIOUS! I actually am thinking about ordering some more now for lunch! I’ve had their ceviche, camarones a la diabla, taquitos, sopes and like I said they never disappoint! I’ll always be around!

I don’t write many reviews, but felt I needed to for this restaurant. Not at all what I expected from the reviews. The place is an eyesore from the outside and not much better on the inside. The food was very bland, the rice and beans tastes like they came from a box and a can and the margaritas were HORRIBLE. They’re made from wine, why does Unilocal say they have a full bar? For a place called Las Margaritas, you’d think that’s their specialty. Don’t waste your time at place. Very dismal interior and inferior Mexican food and drinks.

You must order to try el molcajete! Good Mexican food for the area. Prices are reasonable. Karaōke on the weekends I think. Great service even when busy.

I’ve lived in Pomona for quite some time, and I thoroughly enjoy our local Mexican offerings, most of which are solid, but unremarkable. I had not visited Las Margaritas before recently because the name did not inspire confidence. I have been totally missing out! Been here three times in the last few weeks, and will be a regular. This place is a cut above the«standard», and is very smoothly run by a friendly and welcoming staff. The salsa is of the blended variety with flavors of roasted tomatoes and fresh herbs, and a nice, but not overpowering, amount of spice. Corn tortillas are fresh made in house and make everything even more delightful. I’m vegetarian, so I have sampled only a portion of the menu, but my favorite is the Chile Relleno, which features a fluffy egg batter and a flavorful sauce that was certainly concocted in house and did not come out of a can. Lunch specials are a particularly good deal, but prices are really reasonable all around. It’s a fun place that draws patrons of all stripes. So glad I finally made it in.

I’m leaving 2 stars because of disappointment on Margaritas. There is no «full bar» like it says on Unilocal.Food is ok but only«wine margaritas???» No thanks And now they tell me they’re out of Albondigas soup? Hmmmm

We reserved the private room for 45 people on a Sunday at 1. They gave us a great deal for adults and kids. The room was very comfy with booths and tables. There was a mini buffet setup for us that had fajitas, Chile verde, cheese enchiladas, rice and beans, and chicken nuggets and fries for the kids. All my guests were impressed with the food. Half went back for seconds. The servers were so nice! They took drink orders even though we were all scattered and they just kept telling us «just let us know whatever you need.» We really did and they helped the best they could. We had such a great experience at this restaurant. They were all very accommodating. We will definitely book again. P. s. only one thing needed work. Although very clean the bathrooms were somewhat nonfunctional. One had a toilet too big for the stall. I could not sit and close the door.

Just left the restaurant with my wife and kids without eating a single thing. What I left with was a bad taste in my mouth for a community restaurant. I am Japanese and my wife is Caucasian. Our kids are 10 and 8. We were there a good 20 minutes before I decided I needed to get the HELL out of that RACIST establishment. After we walked in and sat ourselves down, multiple families of Mexican decent came in sat down and were immediately served water and menus. Multiple! There were families that even served more chips and salsa and they were sitting next to us! They don’t serve your kind here. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE. I LEFTTHATPLACEFURIOUS!

The carne asada wet burrito was pretty amazing and so were the fajitas. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Place was pretty empty so there was no wait to be seated. Appearances was nothing fancy, but extremely comfortable. Overall, I will definitely go back.

Lety was our server, just with the greeting and fast and friendly attitude, I already had a good idea, we found this place from Unilocal,we had a Dr appointment on sat ! So she brings out menus brings us our drinks and makes some suggestions that my wife and I asked for, they have a whole $ 4.95 breakfast special menu all Looked good ! Our order Vickie — huevos rancheros special and a chile rellenos Me — huevos rancheros non special 3 eggs instead of 2 on special, with rice and beans ! A nice size plate for $ 2 more then special !! Lety brought chips and salsa, as always if I’m in a mexican place I test them and order a side of beans ! Beans with chips and salsa ! BOMBBEANS. I was already won over Our food Vickie’s special was a nice amount traditional huevos rancheros minus the tortilla under the egg(like Mom) with potatoes and beans small sailas with a dab of cream(crema) And her relleno was a nice size Mine Very nice amount rice beans salad and 2 small flour tortillas each !!! Well I have to say I am very satisfied with the amount and flavor of everything I had, Vickie was just munching. Saying yum yum so I tried her relleno ! Yum Yum Yum. Tasted like my Moms ! Overall great service Good food ! Inside needs a little upgrade but that won’t stop me from trying more of the menu ! We will return ! I recommend this place !! Just have to get passed the loud colors outside ! Very festive looking building ! Oh yea the waitress was on it ! Good job !

Great Mexican home style cooked meals. Loved their reasonable breakfast price menu. There are a lot of food selections in the menu. No comparison to El Torito or Acapulco’s. Those places are too Americanized. And the food is over priced. Here at Las Margaritas, you get the real deal. I had the breakfast special, eggs with pork, green chili, beans, and potatoes for $ 4.99. It was delicious. The coffee there was also good. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Ordered a wet chili Verde burrito, the menu had it labeled as house special, so I wanted to see if it was actually special or not. The chili Verde sauce was delicious, and pork was tender and just how it should be when served Verde style. The portion was hearty, I also got two burritos to go for my wife and son and they loved theirs as well. I also had a Michelada beer, it was OK but definitely not my favorite, it seems to lack spice and subsistence. The place was a tad warm, seems someone was being stingy with the AC dial, but that seems to be common place among these middle class type Mexican food establishments. The décor of the seats you sit in is loud and nauseating type fish/sea themed. The service was good. I would come back again, but probably just as a to-go order to hit up that verde burrito again.

Very affordable and delicious food. Been here twice and both times have been great. Efficient service and good portioned food. Tacos are only 99¢ before 12 pm though. $ 1.50 after.
