I was looking for an alarm system for my new home after having a couple break ins around my neighborhood. I was referred by my dentist to got with SSS. I’m constantly on the go and wanted a system that would keep me updated on the status of my home. They offered me the Pulse system and they added the new RING doorbell. I absolutely love it because I get notifications on who is at my door when I’m at work. The keypad they installed is touchscreen and goes with my home’s décor. I also control it via an app, which is convenient. I did everything over the phone and the installer did a great job. He was professional and cleaned up after the installation. So far everything is great!

This review is about their service, or lack thereof. We were going out of town for a significant period of time and needed an alarm system installed. After getting estimates from several companies, we decided to go with them. The owner seemed nice and professional. He said he’d be here the following day to do the work. We waited for him to show up and do the installation that morning and no one showed up. I called and left a few messages on his voice mail and didn’t get a call back. Finally I got through to the young lady who works as his assistant. She said he had gone to do another job for the day. I asked her how that was possible since he said he’d be working on our installation today. She began trying to say that we had not signed a form she sent in the evening the previous day to authorize the work. I said I got home late but signed it and did e-mail it back to her and reminded her we had an oral agreement. She said that they were unable to order the parts because of that. So I said, fine… can you do the work tomorrow. Then she says no, because the parts won’t be here for another week. I said, if that is the case, then even if I had signed and returned the form in earlier yesterday, you still wouldn’t have the parts for a week? She said yes, Okay… anyone else see the obvious here? So how was he going to begin the work even if I had signed the form yesterday!!! This conversation went on for quite a while until she finally saw the error in their logic. Seriously?! Why would you tell a customer you can do something if you CAN’T?! This really messed us up because we had to leave and could not get another company to install the alarm before we left our home. We never got a call from the owner to apologize or offer a small discount if we still went with them, or to at least acknowledge their mistake. Nope, nothing! Very very unprofessional! I e-mailed again to see if they would offer something for our inconvenience and did not receive a reply. They were replying right away when they wanted our business initially. Be careful with this company. If you are reading this review, it means he has yet to contact us.
