This store deserves every last star for cleanliness, friendly service, fresh food and affordable prices. I like the Thursday meat sales and the bakery is spectacular. Everything is fresh and delicious. Their pan dulce is better than a lot of specialty bakeries I’ve been to. And everyone treats you as an equal. I’ve been to other Superior’s that discriminate because I don’t speak the greatest spanish and look gringa. Jerks. This store is great though. The only thing I would say is that the baby food and pet food are too pricey so I have to make a separate trip to Stater Bros. Other than that I’m happy.

This market rips you off ! 16 – 20 count shrimp was on sale for $ 5.98 lb it comes in a 2lb bag should be 11.96RIGHT… WRONG they charged $ 13.31 I have pictures to prove it. When I told them to bring the manager out to talk to me he wouldn’t come out but I saw him talking on the phone to the checker I was sorting out this problem with and he was doing nothing to help the customer. DONOTSHOPHERE !!!

Unilocal: You’ve checked in here 11 times! What keeps you coming back? Me: Actually, I’ve been here way more than 11 times, but whatever. I keep coming back for the queso fresco; It’s forever on sale and they have like, a million different kinds. Also, the pan dulce. Their bakery section is gorda central. Pan dulce, cheese rolls, cake, flan, bolillos, muffins… ugh. I still can’t fit into my skinny jeans after the last time I fucked around in their bakery. Unilocal: How about a tip? Me: The produce is either super ripe, or not at all. Like, you can get bananas to use *that* evening and avocados that will be ready late next week. It’s cool though, because it’s super cheap and there’s always a bunch. Just don’t come here expecting the fancy gringo shit — they do have(marked up) organic eggs, but they’re gonna look at you funny if you ask for vegan alternatives or GMO-free anything. Want maple syrup? You get to choose between ‘Maple Grove Farms’ and ‘Sunny Hills Farms’ brands… aka: a concrete factory in Ohio. Unilocal: Your draft looks great! Me: I know, thanks. By the way, they’ve got a decent beer selection as well. And Mexican soda. And all the other minority foods that Stater Bro’s doesn’t like to carry. Speaking of carrying… you’re gonna have to bag your own stuff here. You can use this opportunity to flex your tiny little pan dulce muscles for the cute cashier girl. Chaaaaaaaaaaaaow!

Wow, this market is so clean. I was amazed at how friendly the workers were too! I am used to shopping at the congested markets in the 626 area where little old ladies will elbow you for the bananas on sale, so this was a very refreshing experience. I went after work on a Wednesday, so I’m not sure if this place gets really busy. Great sales even compared to Stater Bros. 2lbs Roma tomatoes 99 cents Chicken drumsticks 57 cents a pound 3 Large mangoes for 99 cents They also have an aisle for Indian, Chinese, Korean, Filipino etc. products! This makes me sooo happy, because there aren’t any good Asian supermarkets near by. They also have a bakery and hot deli.

I shop here a lot, sometimes a few times a week. The only reason why I’m a regular customer is because it’s convenient. Besides stater bros. it is the nearest grocery store to me. Some of their cashiers don’t seem too fond of their jobs and are in zombie mode but have never been rude to me. Their lines are fucking ridiculous! They always only have 1 – 2 registers open. I once stood in line for 20 minutes. Also, the tomatillos in their produce section are disgusting!

I like this store, price you never compare with any store, really very less when you compare. I got much more stuff with same amounted money which I use to spent in different stores.

Every.single.time I visit this grocery I have to look at their gorgeous baked goods and cakes. They always have fresh chicken or ready made dinner items beneath their heat lamp. The people at this store always manage to put a smile on my face. The employees are different and quirky. I never leave this grocery without having had an employee make me laugh out loud.

Well they finally filled this spot with a new grocery store. I’m happy because it is the closest to home also that it’s a Hispanic based store and offers a needed variety to the area. Great meat market. Some of the prices are pretty good, but overall not much cheaper than elsewhere. They have a great Mexican deli and tortilla factory. Definitely the place to go for Hispanic foods. One pound carnitas and with rice, beans, tortillas and 3 salsas for $ 12.99, was $ 9.99 when first opened. Still a good deal, feeds four. The staff is still new so give them time. Check out is self bagging and a bit slow, and not many registers open. Don’t get behind anyone using WIC because it takes 10 minutes longer. Big store worth checking out.

This is such a much-needed addition to the area! It brought life to a formerly dead shopping center, and now I always see it full of a diverse range of shoppers. We attended the grand opening weekend and have gone back frequently, since my boyfriend lives a few blocks away. Such a great supermarket with tons of different international products, quick and easy for a last-minute run for most things we need. The good: — Bakery section — One of the market’s best features. Tons of professional-looking, beautiful, fresh cakes, desserts, pan dulce, and other goods. I definitely plan to make this my first stop the next time I need a party cake. Don’t miss the freshly made tortilla chips, either! I keep a bag around and snack on them all day, by themselves. You can judge me, my boyfriend probably does, but I don’t care. They are amazing. — Meat/Seafood — top notch! Delicious marinated carne and pollo asada, prepared ceviche, and even fresh cheeses. — Liquor/beer/wine. Great selection, and most of it is cheaper than other stores! I only wish they carried soju, but I live in Koreatown so I’m soju spoiled. — Very, very very friendly and helpful staff; I’ve never come across anything less — International foods aisles with products I haven’t seen anywhere else The bad: — Dairy is significantly more expensive than other supermarkets, and with less variety. — Produce is hit or miss, in terms of freshness and selection. — Some common products just have less options than major supermarkets, such as household items(many of the major brands are missing) etc. Overall, I’m really happy that this market is here! And now I want some more tortilla chips.
