Love this great breakfast/lunch place! The staff is so friendly, you feel like you’re part of the family. Their eggs Benedict is always a favorite of mine. Breakfast burritos and soups are wonderful, especially their crab bisque. This is my go to breakfast place and I love trying new dishes. Their specials are always on the wall so you can try something different. It’s a small place so I recommend coming earlier for breakfast or just allow time to wait, it’s never a long wait. You can sit in your car if need be and not miss your spot. I’ve brought family and friends here and we will be coming back again together!

I like this place I’ve been there a few times and would definitely go back again. Food is really simple but the portions are huge. Very friendly service for which I give it an extra star otherwise I’d just do three.

For some reason our area has some great Breakfast places. Do a search and you’ll find some really good ones. TW Howell’s is no exception. I had the crab Eggs Benedict which was very good. The home fries were good and the side of raisin toast I had was also good. The coffee came in a small carafe so we didn’t have to wait for refills. The owner/host is always pleasant and the service staff is really helpful and friendly. The place itself is very quaint but somewhat tightly spaced. On a nice day you can eat outside.

Of course I love the fact that it is family owned & operated. We had to wait a bit for a table, but it is not a large restaurant. We did get some java while waiting in line to tide us over, that was a nice touch. A The wait only ended up being about 10 – 15 minutes, so that wasn’t bad to get a non casino breakfast. The waitress explained some new opting & the 6 of us got a bit of everything. It had been a long time since I had a standard breakfast so went with 2 eggs over east, bacon, ww toast & hash brown’s. My meal hit the spot. The table was quiet so everyone was enjoying their food. I did hear the fried oatmeal was amazing. What’s a girl to do? Eat up, breakfast is an important start to the day!

Always a great meal. Have eaten here over a dozen times. Has a great menu and the specials are always different. Staff is the most pleasant bunch of people around. Never a long wait for a table or for your food. Skillet meals are My favorite for breakfast. Your sure to enjoy this restaurant!

Awesome breakfast restaurant with huge portions, extensive menu and a long list of specials. Fried oatmeal was the best. Coffee outside while you are waiting was a great idea! Get there early as this place gets very crowded!

Love this place! The servers Ann Marie and Debbie are the best. Their specials are to die for and change weekly. They are set to reopen the bar formally know as the Avenue in Egg Harbor City as Howells Pub. I can’t wait. Their catering is also amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this business. Come and see for yourself.

Wonderful food, great service from awesome people! Their prices are very reasonable, and the amount of food served is crazy! Plan on taking a doggie bag because Chef Tom’s idea of a serving is like a serving for the family! Just went last night to their Dinner, and couldn’t have been more pleased! I’d put their Seafood Combo up against any 5 Star Restaurant that I’ve ever been to! The rating would only give me 5 star option, but my personal rating would have been higher. Count on me as a life time Customer! One of Atlantic County’s greatest secret(except for locals who know better!)

Excellent food and service. My wife had a flounder sandwich special that was huge and delicious! The food is always spectacular here.

Cute, little local dinner. Only open til 2. I had the french toast combo(eggs and bacon) not much to complain about… I do wish, however that I ordered the fresh squeezed OJ rather than regular.

Overpiced. Better food from Aunt Jemima frozen food. Waaay salty sausage. With 2 waitresses in a small place, and off peak 3 tables total, ran by my ice tea empty multiple times without offering a refill until I asked. Somewhat dirty(grimy s&p shaker, dirty spoon, dirty ketchup bottle). While there may not be alot of choices nearby do yourself a favor and pass this mess, so bad I thought we were on a hidden camera show

I am a big fan of breakfast, but due to weight problems I save going out for special occasions or when the urge overtakes my diet. Special occasions, may be not the place, but fantastic food when your in the mood to break the diet this is the place. As other reviewers have pointed out the place is small and somewhat crowed, but that does not interfere with either the service or the very high quality of food. My perfect breakfast here are the skillet breakfast swerved in an actual pan. Way too much food so I always ask for the take out container when the meal is served. I promptly put half the meal in the takeout container for tomorrows breakfast or lunch. I am a big fan of their creamed chip beef, potatoes and eggs skillet. You can’t eat it all and you must hide half of it so you don’t keep nibbling after your full. Always unique specials on the Menu board. They put some really tasty dishes out. Can’t go wrong eating here. A lot of pride shows what they do.

Let me start off by saying that I like Howell’s. I’ve been there several times and always ordered something different. The pros of Howell’s are that the menu is extensive and they do have some creative specials that sound very good. I LOVE that they leave the coffee carafe with you. I do not love that you feel like you’re literally sitting on top of people. I appreciate Chef Howell’s desire to make the restaurant feel like an old-time, homey joint, but this place gets packed and isn’t very well ventilated. In the summer it could potential ruin your meal. Who wants to eat an omelette and drink coffee when it’s 85 degrees in the restaurant? Given the popularity, I’d say it’s a good time for Chef Howell to maybe think about expanding. Service is very good here; lots of regulars and the servers treat them as such. Chef Howell himself is often at the door to greet you, especially during busier hours. My reason for giving 3 stars is that I have been sick after eating here every single time. I’ve ordered everything from omelettes to soups to fajitas… sick every time. I’ve asked for egg whites only, I’ve asked for my food to be cooked with Pam. I don’t know what the deal is, but I’ve had to stop going because I’m literally ill for at least an hour afterwards. But the place is always packed, so they’ve gotta be doing something right.

It’s like being in a small town atmosphere with someone welcoming you at the door. Great wait staff. Feel like you’re at home. Great breakfast. Had this Cereal French Toast. It was Corn Flakes French Toast. Sounded good, except that there was too much cherry syrup and whip cream. If only I asked them to put it on the side. It was delicious, nevertheless. My friend had the traditional breakfast, two eggs, sausage, and bread. Really good portions. They left the coffee carafe and I nearly drank the whole carafe. Wanted to wake up and I did. They have two park benches outside for those who want to wait and you can help yourself to their coffee while waiting. Their menu is so extensive. So hard to choose what to eat.
