I was using Public Storage for a few years and got really tired of them jacking up my rent. So I called around to see if I could find a place where the rent would be more stable.
I called Fort Knox and the person I spoke to told me he would «guarantee to keep my rent at the same price forever.» So I moved my things in. Less than six months later I got a notice in the mail saying that my rent would be going up in the next month.
Great integrity Fort Knox. Say whatever you have to in order to get the customer’s business, knowing they’ll sort of be stuck since they know it’ll cost them a lot of money to move their things to another facility. You should be sued. What a scam.
