Jerry is an awesome boat captain. Very competent and very safe. You will have an amazing time on this boat, and the local knowledge cannot be beat.

I am a local diver in the Palm Beach/​Broward County area. Always looking for a good
dive boat. This is a review for the «O Sea D» which is the larger of their two boats.
Pluses:
Nice big boat with plenty of room.
Two boarding ladders.
Two people can drop in at a time
Stowage under seats does not get nearly as wet as boats with open sides
Provides freshwater tanks for camera equipment
Big cooler; water and fruit provided.
Can usually drive straight up to boat to load/​unload gear
Easy to get to; docks at
Great Captain, crew and regulars
Minuses:
You have to pay to park (about $ 6)
A little bit pricier than some boats in the area
Tank racks clumsy and not as secure as some boats I have been on
Overall, an excellent dive experience. I would heartily endorse them for anyone coming to the area looking for a good boat with room. Tourists often get pushed to some of the smaller boats where you can’t turn around without hitting somebody.

I had a great experience with Parrot Island Scuba Adventures. I was in town from CT for a long weekend and Jerry (owner/​divemaster) could not have been more accommodating.
Over the four days I was in town, he and Kelley worked out the schedule for all of my PADI Open Water Certifications and a final chartered fun dive on the last day.
From a student prescriptive, Jerry was extremely honesty and patient with me and my comfort ability with the water. Instructions were extremely clear and easy to understood. When he explained he had 20+ years experience, I was not surprised at how well I could dive after the trip.
Dive Sites (Pompano Beach Area): There are multiple dive sites that we went to, including 2 «wreck» dives and multiple coral reef drift dives. The water was clear and visibility was perfect on all days.
You will not be disappointed with this company and I highly recommend them for all of your diving needs.

I dove with Parrot Island on Monday, June 20th. We could not ask for a better day, weather was great, visibility was wonderful, currents on the bottom were somewhat strong.
What impressed me is what happened between the dives, When I was changing to my second tank I notice there was air leaking in my first stage, thinking it was the din connection being loose I asked Jerry for a hex wrench to tighten the first stage connector, which he provided. Upon that not working I thought it was a o-​ring which he also had, which was not the case. Final reason, to get the thing sealing, it just needed to be removed and reseated, and it worked.
He provided excellent guest service, and I will dive again with Parrot Island Scuba Adventures.

I dove with this charter boat on Sunday. We did an afternoon dive. We went on the Wreck Trek and a reef. Currents were somewhat strong, and visibility was 30′.
For the Wreck Trek, they put a line in, and explained very clearly how to move from one wreck to the next. They also moved the line to the end of the last wreck while we were diving, which made it really east to descend, navigate, and ascend right back to the boat.
On the reef dive, they dropped us right on top of the reef with flags, allowed us plenty of bottom time, and picked us up at the surface.
The boat was spacious. They provided water, soda, animal cracker and some pretzels.
The crew was helpful, relaxed and fun. I’d dive with them again any day!
