The original move did not go as well as I wanted. Originally, I was upset and felt the move did not go as I expected, but after working with Vicki in customer service, I feel the company has expressed a true concern for me, as the customer. Vicki helped me to understand Superior Moving’s position and I feel she truly listened to all of my concerns regarding my experience and was able to see things from my perspective as well. We were able to work together and compromise and through the company’s good efforts, I feel they now deserve 4 stars.

Today Superior moved my daughters 1 bedroom apt. They moved it from West Palm Beach to Pompano Beach. They were in time and on point. The 2 guys were awesome. They wrapped everyrhing very carefully and with care. You always hear about people with nightmares with moving companies. But i have to tell you our experience with Superior was simply superb. I would def recommend them and i myself would use them when its my time to move. Thanks again Superior for a great move and a great moving experience. My daughter will def be using them again when its time to move her stuff from storage to her new place.

Superior Moving is now suing me for my review here on Unilocal.I was told to take my remove my review or I was going to be sued to slander. Just a head’s up Superior Moving. Slander is verbal. Libel is written. You might want to hire an attorney that knows basic law!
I have had to hire an attorney to defend myself against their frivolous & unwarranted claim. It seems I am not the only Unilocal reviewer to be threatened and sued. Some Unilocalers have revised their reviews after Superiors threaten legal action and some Unilocalers have stood firm. Good for them!
Superior Moving choose to place their company in a public social media forum. If Superior didn’t want honest feedback then they should remove their Unilocal listing.

I am revising this review as I just went through another move (expecting baby #2, forcing us to find a bigger place so soon). Comparatively, these guys did a better job at protecting our furniture. They wrapped everything and I was not finding chips and scratches here and there like I am now. I wouldn’t give them 5 stars based on the packing as I reviewed before but I definitely think they got the moving down.

), records with your Blount Road address, and phone records showing communication between your company and us. As for why you chose to take our belongings on a joy ride through the U.S. rather than taking I-​10 to Texas, then to Nevada — who knows? That’s what we were told by your employees. Furthermore, I said your dispatcher’s name was Lauren, not Laura. No one has attempted to contact me from your company about this review either, but trust me, it’s most definitely meant for your company in Florida. Perhaps Superior should focus on providing better customer service rather than trying to discredit my experience with your company.

I have waited over a year to post this because I needed that long to cool down.
My family used Superior Moving for three major moves. We referred many family and friends to them and even our realtor began to recommend them. The first two were great and the third was a disaster.
We booked our third move with Superior Moving in late July 2013. It was an out of state move and just our belongings alone filled an entire truck. Superior keep our belongings in storage for a couple months until it was time to move.
About a month before the move my husband unexpectedly had two emergency surgeries. We called SM immediately and let them know that we needed to delay our move by two weeks. This was with a months notice. They charges us a change fee of $ 4000. Considering the crisis our family was in with my husbands health we pleaded with them to make concession because of the situation but Anthony, who I believe is the owner, was rude and inflexible. He gave us the option of hiring another moving company but the cost to get our things our of his storage would be move than the $ 4000 ransom.
The day of our move when his movers arrived and saw the condition my husband was in from the emergency spine, neck and shoulder surgeries they were shocked. They couldn’t believe what a heartless, greedy employer they had that would take advantage of a family like ours.
When our items arrived the movers were not provided enough time to move and set up all of out belongings because they had a load they had to pick up and bring back to Florida. I had to hire someone additionally to help us unload because my husband and I were not capable of physically doing it all.
I would never recommend that anyone use these movers. If this is how they treat customers who have used them several times imagine how they will treat you.

I hired this company for an overnight move from Fort Lauderdale to Fort Pierce, Florida. As soon as placed my house on the market, it sold immediately leaving me with a few weeks to move out. Also, I was recovering from open heart surgery and didn’t have the strength nor health to do much on my own so I pretty much went with the first moving company that I could find willing to take on my large 2 story home move. Therefore, I didn’t do much research on the company before I chose them to service me. BIG MISTAKE! The company sent a lady name Ashley (sales-​person) who came to my home and sat down with me to discuss the contract and pricing. She insured me that she would work with me and be involved throughout the entire process to ensure that everything would be okay. She talked so highly of the company and made me feel extremely comfortable. She gave me a set price and told me there wouldn’t be any surprises, that they would work with my schedule, etc., etc.
DONT FALL FOR IT!!! It’s all apart of their scam. This turned out to be the WORST experience ever. As soon as «Ashley» received my deposit she was no where to be found and the fees begin to triple. The only time that I was able to reach or speak to her is when she was informing me that they were pretty much holding my belongings hostage until I paid an additional this and that for absolutely no reason. I literally end up paying close to an extra $ 1,100 in fees that were never mentioned during consultation or in the contract. But when someone has literally everything that you’ve worked your whole life for in their possession, they put you in a situation where you have no choice but to pay it. And then they send workers who have no clue of what’s going on to demand the money before they begin working.
And BEWARE of placing your valuables on the truck. The company promises that they will lock everything up and even offers you the option of putting your «own lock» on their truck to stop their movers from stealing… yea, another lie! Unexpectedly, I misplaced my key to the locks that I placed on their truck, so I panicked & rushed to home depot to purchase a lock cutter thinking this would be necessary… not at all, It was NOT needed. I quickly discovered that they had many ways to get into the truck and open it from the inside if they needed to. My lock cutter was not needed and neither was my personal locks in the first place. This was just another one of many other rehearsed dreams they sell to you to get them to trust them enough to get a deposit and your belongings in their presence.
I gave one star due to the actual movers themselves. They understood my frustration since they probably go through the same thing with every customer. They worked as fast and hard as they could after they received orders to do so from their boss. They seemed to be just caught in the middle of working for a bogus company and doing what’s right. And another thing that cost more money, the company sends different movers each time they pack/​unload the truck. So based on my total I had to tip the first crew $ 500 and the second crew an additional $ 500. It would have been better for myself and the workers if they sent the same crew out so that they can receive more money and also to be easier when unloading. The movers who unloaded to truck took longer because they had no clue where furniture went, where things were located on their truck, etc., because they were not the ones who packed the house up to begin with.
Overall, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. It is far more reliable and trustworthy moving companies available. Do you research and don’t get tricked by their gimmicks and pre deposit scamming salespersons. Run from these similar moving companies who aim to make most of their money off of hidden fees and theft.

As you may have read in the past, I had issues with my move; after researching various companies, I noticed that regardless the company, city and state, people always run into some kind of obstacle with a move. I would say 50% of the time its the companies fault and the other 50% is the person who is actually moving who makes mistakes. Not here to go into this ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ theory but it happens to be a fact when reading reviews and checking out various companies.
Where my situation went well is with the communication from Superior and its owner; I was contacted after a review I left and since then have been able to work everything out with the company. They have proved themselves to be helpful and worked hard to make right what I felt was wrong.
We all experience bad situations with restaurants (even our favorites), dr offices, moving companies etc. But there is the opportunity for second chances in many fields; unfortunately most of us don’t move enough in our life time to even have the opportunity to «give a moving company a second chance», however as stated above, the dedication spent by superior post my move to work with me on resolving all my issues counts for a lot. If I was ever to move again, I would consider superior.

Wow, for someone who relies heavily on Unilocal reviews I had not even looked up this company prior to hiring them. My husband and I had just married out of the country when we received a startling phone call from the building; the tenants of the apartment above ours had a major pipe burst and it seemed as if it could be leaking into our apartment. Thankfully we just getting back in town the morning after the incident, but it sure seemed as though our marriage was being tested right off the bat!
We looked up a company that could help us move the items from our apartment into temporary storage while everything was figured out and fixed, luckily we are friends with the landlord who owns a couple of other units in the building and decide to just have us move to another unit, sounds great, only issue was the unit would not be ready for a couple of weeks as they were all tenant occupied at the moment. With no other options, we called up good ol’ mom and dad up and moved in with them for the meantime. My husband in the meantime was taking care of the whole moving part, which ties in with my first sentence of this review. I perhaps would have hired a different company.
However, as they say what isn’t planned out usually works for the best, and in this case it sure did! My husband had hired Superior for the emergency move and temporary storage and we could not be more happy. Understanding the urgency of this move, they had a rep come out for the estimate the same day we called!!! They came out and provided the estimate and to be honest, estimate or not, we had to get the move underway. We signed the paperwork and agreed to the move, the guys came out to our apartment and were as careful and clean as can be, our apartment building is mainly renters therefor the receiving department sees a lot of moving companies and I will never forget when I ran into Charlie from receiving and he asked me for their contact, he told me they were so polite and professional he wanted their contact on file since he is regularly asked for companies that specialize in moving. Keep in mind a house move and apartment move are 2 completely different things. We have hallways, elevators and other «common grounds» that have to be cared for and looked after. Superior nailed it, what was starting off as too much to handle with the wedding just being over and the flooding being an issue to deal with, these guys came in and instantly became part of the family!
I would contact them in a heartbeat if ever needed to move again, and I definitely recommend them as a company… goes to show not to always base your decisions on other peoples experiences. Not everyone reviews and when a job goes as expected there is almost no need to review in peoples mind. Well, I have to review to let people know what greatness they could be missing out on because of a couple of peoples situations. Thank you SUPERIOR, the entire process was truly SUPERIOR!!!

Very helpful moving company, we actually utilized them for both moving and storage and found it to be extremely pleasant all around. From the moment they came out to provide us a quote we knew we were in good hands; the moving day finally came and they were there as expected, on time!!! This was a huge relief as we had several issues with other companies showing up a bit later which ended up delaying the entire moving process (for those of you living in apartment buildings, you know how strict move in and move out times are) so we greatly appreciated that!
As luck would have it, our move in day (which was a month after the initial pick up) ended up getting postponed, previous owner had to fix a couple of things before we could move in. nervous as could be, we called superior and spoke with the staff and without a problem the storage was extended and it didn’t cost us an arm and a leg.
In my opinion, they earned the name superior, from the level of service they provide. For a small family moving there entire home is a very stressful situation, and they made it feel like a walk in the park. I couldn’t be thankful enough! I recommended a friend from work since she is getting ready for a move and I am sure she will be as content as we are.
Thank you superior for helping us out and thank you for being the company we expected when we hired you for the job. I know I am not a big reviewer, but when a business does everything and more for me, it motivates and moves me to review. Thanks for that too! :) :)

The movers arrived 1.5hrs late into my 4hr elevator reservation with the condo. In packing my belongings they did not put pads on anything though their representatives & website claimed everything would be padded. They rushed and repeated comments about their next move appt. I informed them they would have to remove the entrance door to remove the sectional couch, but they replied they did not need to. They forced the sectional through the door which caused the door handle to punch a hole in the wall, gouge a large long dent in the metal door itself and gouge and scrape a very large area of the wall of the corridor across from the door. The sectional was originally delivered through the elevator but the 3-​man crew was unable to get it in and damaged the wood & ripped the fabric of the couch in the process. The crew would not listen to my complaints of being careful with the furniture. I was told I would have to pay extra for a different crew to come move the couch or pay for a crane and they left it in the unit to complete the move. I was charged an additional 70% of the original move cost for a smaller 2-​man crew to come back and move the single sectional piece later that day. They completed what the first crew could not with relative ease and no further damage. They would not release the couch to me until I agreed to pay the full additional charge. During the move with the 1^st crew the Owner/​Manager was unavailable to hear my concerns about the treatment of my furniture though he was available to over-​charge for the 2^nd crew to move the couch. After repeated mistreatment of my belongings I had to ask (1) of the 1^st crew members to step aside and no longer handle my belongings as he was banging into every wall or door he could and was continuously dropping furniture & boxes or dragging delicate items over rough surfaces. I also had to ask the other members of the crew to assist him on multiple occasions as they were not working together to prevent damage of items in the move. After 12 long hours all of the movers were finally gone and the dust began to settle. Almost every single piece of furniture was damaged including the TV which was completely destroyed with a smashed screen. Our $ 1,000 deposit for the unit we moved out of will be withheld because of the significant damage to the entrance door, unit wall and common area wall. I am writing this complaint today because the Owner/​Manager is still dodging my calls and not returning my calls and I’ve left several messages and spoke with several representatives that I need to speak with him about the quality of the service he provided. He is not making himself available to hear my complaint and I am repeatedly informed of the standard insurance claim I need to file that covers $ 0.60/pound of a damaged item. Furniture is not priced by how much it weighs so references to the fractional state required insurance is insulting. My expectation would be that the Owner/​Manager would be appalled by the service we received and seek to find remedy but that is not the case with Superior Moving. They clearly do not care about customer service or customer satisfaction or in this case even ethical treatment. I asked one of the crew if they receive any training for their profession. He responded that there is sometimes a class on Sunday but it is not required. Regardless of the lack of training, (2) of the 1^st crew members each claimed to have 15 & 20 years experience respectively. While they did not seem to be the driving factor behind all of the damage to my property as the 3^rd member did, they also were not preventing the damage from happening. Ultimately I had to remove the crew member entirely when the other (2) with 35 yrs combined experience should have managed him accordingly from the beginning. What should have been a few hours to move a 2-​bedroom unit turned into a 12 hour ordeal that resulted in damage to all of our furniture. If anything is done to resolve this I will add it to my current review.
